Hogwarts Emerald
Chapter 92 Nothing Happened
There is no need to tell anyone about these thoughts in Ada's heart, she just knows it herself. No one, whether it was Professor McGonagall or Dumbledore, would let her run wild, and no one would pamper her all the time.
Settling accounts with the Foley family would undoubtedly cause an earthquake in the wizarding world, and Dumbledore would not allow this to happen.
Maybe there was once a woman who could always pamper her and protect her, but on the snowy night of 1977, that woman abandoned her, and she never knew whether she would live or die.
Although being born noble has always been scorned by many people, it does exist. This is especially true in the wizarding world. The Ministry of Magic has existed for hundreds of years, but only one minister was of Muggle origin, and it didn't take long for this minister to step down due to physical reasons.
"It's still a pity that I can't do it myself." George's words interrupted Ada's thinking.
"I really want to break off Flint's teeth one by one." Fred looked at the absent-minded Ada and asked, "Ada, what are you thinking about?"
After retracting her divergent thoughts, Ada replied: "It's nothing. I just feel that Flint's performance has really discredited the pure-blood family. I wonder what they have always been proud of?"
"We are the ones who discredit the pure-blood family, but Flint and the others are the ones who are the glory." Fred said, pointing to himself and George.
"The Weasley family are pure-blooded scum who have fallen for themselves." George said mockingly, "Dad has been unable to be promoted in the ministry, and there are also reasons for this."
There are not only twenty-eight pure-blood families, but only twenty-eight. Many pure-blood families have disappeared in the long history of magic.
The reason for the disappearance of these families is either that the ancestral property has been lost and the glory of the ancestors has been lost; or the family has become extinct, and in the end no one even cleans the family cemetery. Although the Weasley family, known as the scum, is a little poor, they are prosperous. I have to say that this is really ironic.
"If you weren't the 'scum of the pureblood family', we might not be friends."
Fred smiled and said: "That's true, wouldn't you be pitiful in that case?"
If the Weasley family also adheres to this concept, they will not make friends with someone of Ada's background, unless the two brothers have not been brainwashed by the family and still retain their current views.
"Even if you cry, no one will comfort you," George said, "just like Moaning Myrtle."
While talking, the three of them had returned to the common room. It was not too late yet, so they sat in their usual seats and continued chatting.
"Have you ever seen me cry?" Ada rolled her eyes, "Before someone makes me cry, I will definitely make him or her worse than death."
"I hope you won't be lectured to tears by Professor McGonagall tomorrow!" the twins said in unison.
If what Ada had just done was known to the professors, the twins felt that Professor McGonagall would not let Ada off easily. So the two brothers thought that the three of them would do it together, so that they could share some of Professor McGonagall's anger.
But the offer was rejected, and for good and irrefutable reasons. With the Quidditch Cup behind them, Gryffindor couldn't afford to lose another Beater.
Ada had decided to do something when Charlie's accident happened. Even if she didn't do anything, the twins would definitely find trouble with Flint. Rather than doing this, it would be better for Ada to handle this matter alone. Charlie treated her well anyway.
If the twins are really suspended, they will wait to be chased by Charlie after he recovers from injury!
Moreover, Ada has already touched Professor McGonagall's bottom. She believes that what she did is still within Professor McGonagall's tolerance, and she should not be scolded badly.
"Looks like I need to order some catnip tomorrow!" We'll talk about tomorrow's matters tomorrow. Ada, who has already prepared her mind well, can even joke with the twins.
The next day was Sunday, so there were no classes and no Quidditch match. As the weather gets colder, Ada will no longer go to the Black Lake in the morning. The weather at Hogwarts is no joke.
Holding Garen's head and tail, Ada left the castle. Garen is almost half a year old, and her body is much bigger than when she was first brought back to the Burrow. Although Garen does not cling to her, he has always been obedient and will not let Ada worry too much. This is Ada's fault. The most satisfying place.
When they went to the auditorium for breakfast, Ada did not see Flint. There was nothing strange about the way the Slytherin students looked at her. As usual, they regarded Ada as nothing.
Professor McGonagall was chatting happily with other professors at the teacher's desk, and Snape had no intention of teaching Ada a lesson.
It seemed that nothing happened, and the twins were not so worried anymore. Flint probably did not tell Snape, but chose to swallow it with his teeth dropped.
It seemed that Ada would not be punished, and the twins began to feel pity again. They would have taught Flint a lesson together yesterday, and he did not dare to tell the professor anyway.
Ada and the twins didn't see Flint again until noon. He was protected by several Slytherins, with a white and green scarf covering his mouth, and walked into the auditorium with a gloomy expression.
Flint didn't look at Ada and the twins, or even glance in the direction of Gryffindor, but walked straight to his place with his friends. Flint ate slowly, not saying a word the whole time, and ate his lunch quietly.
In the afternoon, Ada and the twins went to the school doctor's office together. Charlie was reading a book about fire dragons. The dragon on the cover had a majestic head and horns and was spitting out flames.
"You are here." Charlie put down the book and called Ada and the others to come and sit down. "You didn't cause any trouble, did you?"
"No, if I get into trouble, can I still come here to see you?" Fred said, sitting on the adjacent hospital bed.
"It's too late to hide from you, how can I rush to the school doctor's office to scold you?" George said, sitting on Charlie's bed.
Ada sat on the chair, curiously picked up the book and flipped through it casually. Ada asked: "You have been reading this kind of books during the holidays. No wonder Hagrid likes you so much. "
"We have a lot in common about fire dragons. Hagrid even wants to raise a fire dragon privately, any kind." Charlie said softly.
Although Madam Pomfrey had the ability to rejuvenate her body, her ribs were broken after all, and Charlie still did not dare to speak loudly.
"The Forbidden Forest cannot raise an adult fire dragon. It will turn the Forbidden Forest into ruins." Ada knew Hagrid's love for all kinds of magical creatures and was not surprised at all when she knew that he wanted to raise a fire dragon.
Hagrid was very interested in raising these huge, dangerous-looking creatures. Of course, these dangers were nothing to Hagrid. Last time in the Forbidden Forest, although I didn't see how big Aragog was, I could still get a rough idea of how big it was through its descendants.
"Yeah, so I discouraged him from this dangerous idea." Charlie said, "I want to go to Romania after graduation."
George was stunned. This was the first time he knew of Charlie's idea. He asked, "Have you told your mother?"
"No, I haven't decided how to speak yet." Charlie said, "I plan to talk to my dad during the Christmas vacation."
"Bill went to Egypt, you wanted to go to Romania, and Percy was the only one left at home," Fred said.
Charlie smiled and said: "If you two make mom angry at home, I will fly back from Romania on a fire dragon and roast you two with dragon breath!"
Several people chatted, the three Weasley brothers exposed each other's scandals, and most of all, Charlie was telling the embarrassing stories of the twins. After all, he was the older brother and could remember things earlier.
For example, once the twins tricked Ron into making an Unbreakable Vow, and when Mr. Weasley found out, the vow was almost completed. Mr. Weasley got so angry that he beat the twins' butts until they were swollen.
According to Charlie, he had never seen Mr. Weasley so angry, and since then the left half of Fred's butt has been different from the right.
Ada has a new understanding of the twins' ability to get into trouble. They are really two geniuses. They dared to make an unbreakable vow without going to school, and they almost succeeded.
Fred's butt was covered by his robe, and Ada looked at it many times but found nothing unusual. Fred turned his head and stretched out his hand to block Ada's sight.
The three people did not disturb Charlie for too long. They sat for a while and prepared to leave. Before leaving, Ada asked: "Charlie, has anyone come to see you this morning?"
Charlie didn't know why Ada asked, but he answered the question anyway. Charlie said: "Percy came here in the morning, and Rupert."
Ada nodded and left the school doctor's office with the twins. Charlie on the hospital bed suddenly figured out that the three of them must have done something, so Ada asked this!
