Harry Potter’s Morning Light

Chapter 337: Window to the past

Chapter 337 A Window to the Past

"What did Victor just come for?" Drinking sherbet in a warm room is a treat, and Pomona slumped in a chair as if sitting in his own office.

Minerva looked at her sitting posture with disapproval, but she didn't say anything, and she put her foot on the table.

"As for the budget for this spider-killing operation, that's not a small amount of money."

Pomona looked at Philias Black with a blank face, who left her place in her gaze, seeming to be returning to Black’s old house.

"The thorn tree is not afraid of spells, but encountering herbicides will make them very weak. You can't rely on this defense."

There are always problems in this world that cannot be solved by spells. At this time, potions are needed. Even Voldemort’s body was created by potions. Potions and arithmetic divination are the most difficult courses at Hogwarts. Pomona believes The potions masters will soon think of it.

"I can arrange some gargoyles in it." Minerva said, "just like Harry Potter's first year of freshman."

"Let the old slug figure out a way to make an anti-herbicide potion, and use your power!" Professor Sprout yelled, waving his fists.

"Lockhart once said that Filius is very good at psychedelic magic. How about we set up a maze in the Requirement Room as in the Triwizard Tournament?"

   "They can fly." Pomona reminded.

"How about leaving it to you?" Minerva smiled and said, "Think about when you left everything and all your work to me."

"Oh, hell, I'm just newly married."

"Your husband won't steal that thing just because you are newly married. Your vacation is over, Pomona." McGonagall put a smile away and said sternly.

"Where did that time converter come from? I thought it was destroyed by the Ministry of Magic."

"They are not destroyed, but can no longer be used. They were placed in a glass cabinet, under a coma spell, and the process of being broken and self-repairing has been repeated."

   "What about this time converter?"

"I have been in my bedroom since Miss Hermione Granger handed it over to me. I wanted to make time to return, but I have been very busy." Minerva stared at Pomona word by word. .

"How did it break?" Pomona asked.

"A thief tried to steal it, and my spell hit it."

"How did that thief know it was in your bedroom?"

"That's a time converter, how do I know that that person is not from the future." Minerva said exhaustedly, "Every time I encounter time magic experiments, I feel logically confused."

   "Sounds like a disaster."

"Who said no!" Minerva waved her hand and complained. "Severus suddenly asked me to hide the time converter. I just remembered that it was still with me. There have been so many things in these years, I almost forgot about it. Up."

"I can't do this. He will be seduced by me. I still don't know how they turned the trophy into a door key."

"I can't believe I would say this one day, you and Severus? I thought you were friends."

Pomona looked at Minerva McGonagall blankly. She and Dumbledore were real friends, provided that Dumbledore liked the same sex.

"There is no pure friendship between men and women. The reason you become friends is because you are all old!" Pomona grinned.

Who would see Dumbledore with gray hair and beard thinking in that direction? Come on, he is 150 years old.

"Felius is about my age, and he has many female friends." Minerva immediately retorted.

Pomona didn’t know what to say to McGonagall.

The fool Lockhart wouldn't let himself shut up. Not only did he tell the story of Severus's ability to do Ecstasy, he also made it public that Dean Ravenclaw was good at psychedelic magic.

Both male deans hated him, and Pomona, the female dean also hated him. Only Minerva regarded him as a colleague. But since Valentine’s Day, Minerva couldn’t stand him anymore. He taught when he left school. The staff also threw a small farewell party.

"Let Felius set it up. He hasn't cares about anything for so many years. Now it's his turn to work." Pomona drank the sherbet in one sip and jumped up to escape with agility.

"Stop me, Pomona Sprout!" Minerva yelled behind her. "Do you want to leave everything behind? If so, please don't intervene in the first place. I will find a way. ."

The priest’s witch daughter condemned, and Pomona felt that her conscience had been flogged.

There are always some responsibilities in this world that you can’t escape, like the state of the two of them living in seclusion is not suitable for childbirth, because they are too selfish.

"Don't promise all the budget of the old slug, he will definitely fill his pockets." She did not answer Minerva's question directly because she herself did not know how long she could hold on.

She left the principal’s room. There were too many responsibilities and pressures in that place. She could hardly bear it anymore. When the door closed, her whole body became stiff, and Harry Potter was standing next to the Dripping Beast.

"Professor." Harry greeted her with a stiff smile.

Pomona’s mind only thought of how much he had overheard.

She took out her pocket watch, and now the flame-shaped pointer was facing the little monster's head. They were playing a game of hide-and-seek again, and Harry was blinded by them again.

The last time Dumbledore said nothing to him, Dumbledore subjectively determined that Harry was a Horcrux, and then deceived an underage child to die.

After Dumbledore determined this point of view, there are many grounds, such as Harry's natural snake-like voice, and the connection between him and Voldemort. And Pomona gathered evidence around Harry not a Horcrux, she was almost about to prove it, but she couldn't find an explanation for that snake-like voice.

What she wants to challenge is authority. It is the vast majority of people in the world. She wants to persuade those who have begun to enjoy the peace and tranquility after the Dark Lord is gone to stay vigilant and prepare for war at any time. How many people are willing to listen to her.

Dumbledore reminded Fudge that the Dark Lord was back, but Fudge did not listen, and even said in the newspaper that Harry was a liar. The vast majority of people believe that Fudge’s set of lies that everything is safe and there is no need to worry about. Sometimes people are like this. Even if it is a lie, as long as you can feel at ease, you will choose to believe it.

"What are you doing? Harry Potter?"

"I decided to be the substitute teacher for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class next semester. I communicated with the director and he agreed with my application."

"You are the director of the Executive Department of the Ministry of Magic, and Calvin is your subordinate."

"I don't want that position." Harry said coldly, "I just want to do things right."

"Doing the right thing is more important than doing it right." Pomona sighed, "Have you ever considered leaving the Ministry of Magic?"

"I graduated." Harry pressed his lips tightly, "I am no longer a child who needs protection from others."

If it was an old bat, he would definitely ridicule him at this time, but Pomona didn't want to.

"Your mother wants you to be safe, Harry Potter, you shouldn't always take risks."

"I know, that's why I am here." Harry opened those eyes exactly like Lily and looked at Pomona. "I didn't try to protect the school last time. This time it's my turn to protect it."

Hogwarts is indeed much safer inside than outside, at least there are no werewolves who bite at sight.

"Did you know, Harry, Hogwarts is the name of a lily, and you have the same eyes as your mother."

"Do you know my mother?" Harry said in surprise.

"I worked with Professor Slughorn for a long time. I taught your mother herbalism." She smiled softly. "She is very talented, but unfortunately she chose the potion in the end."

"Professor Slughorn also said that she has a talent for potions." Harry said shyly, "Unfortunately I didn't. I was appreciated by Professor Snape in sixth grade thanks to Professor Snape's old textbook."

"How do you use the elixir?" She asked deliberately pretending to be unaware.

"It's a secret." Harry smiled mysteriously at her "It's nice to meet you, Professor."

When he passed her by, Pomona realized that he had grown into a strong young man, unlike being held in her arms by Hagrid twenty-four years ago, he looked about the size of a cat.

"Good luck, Harry Potter." She whispered towards his back, turned and left the tower.
