Chapter 56: Quidditch Practice

Looking at the people in the room, Zheng Fan rubbed his chin.

He suddenly felt that it was a pity that he had to fight on his rest day yesterday.

Rest days were rare to begin with, and the first Quidditch match was just around the corner. Zheng Fan did not know how to find time to practice.

Although Slytherin was an academy, the class schedules of the seven grades were all different. It was too difficult to gather the members of the Quidditch team together.

But it was not like there was no way.

Zheng Fan looked at James, the head of Slytherin Academy. He was in the fifth grade, so he did not attend class today. When he saw Zheng Fan looking at him, he subconsciously took a step back.

Zheng Fan did not care about his weird attitude and asked directly, "James, is there any punishment for students who ask for leave?"

Seeing that Zheng Fan was not making things difficult for him and was asking a normal question, James coughed and quickly answered seriously, "It's like this, sir. There is no punishment for asking for leave at Hogwarts, but there must be a valid reason. If there is no valid reason for absenteeism, the professor will deduct points."

"I see." Zheng Fan showed a look of understanding.

Then he looked at the leader of the second grade. "You know who is in our Quidditch team, right? Please run an errand and tell them to gather in the common lounge after lunch.

"Yes, sir!" The leader accepted the task without hesitation.

After lunch, the six members of the Slytherin team went to the common lounge with dumbfounded expressions on their faces. Four of them had classes in the afternoon and had planned to prepare their textbooks. They did not expect to be called over by Zheng Fan.

But they had no complaints about being called over. Zheng Fan's Quidditch skills and battle prowess were obvious to all. Slytherin respected the strong, so if Zheng Fan called them over, they had to come.

Looking at the six students of different ages, Zheng Fan smacked her lips and slowly said, "Due to various reasons, I have now become the Quidditch captain of our Slytherin Academy. I believe that everyone has already acknowledged this."

The six of them nodded.

"But, after becoming the team leader, we are faced with a problem."

Zheng Fan said seriously. His tone made the six of them focus on him.

"That is, I have absolutely no idea how to coordinate with a team in Quidditch. The first competition is next month. If we only rely on training on the weekends, it will definitely not be enough.

We might need a way to free up more practice time. "

Hearing Zheng Fan's words, they could not help but look at each other.

More time?

How could he make more time?

If it wasn't a weekend, everyone would have classes. They wouldn't be able to get together.

Looking at everyone's expressions, Zheng Fan smiled. "I've already thought of a way. I just need a little bit of your cooperation. For the sake of Slytherin's Quidditch victory, for the sake of our School Championship, we have to work hard."

"Uh, Captain, what's Ten Thousand Arts?" Adrian, the ball chaser, could not help but ask.

"Good question." Zheng Fan smiled and pulled out his wand. "Who has classes in the afternoon?

Could you please step forward? "

Everyone looked at each other and instinctively felt a sense of crisis.

In the afternoon, on the Quidditch field, the seven players of Slytherin arrived on time. In the cold November wind, the captain was smiling. Two of the players were smirking. The four players looked like they had nothing left to live for.

Looking at Zheng Fan, who was holding a novel broom with a smile on her face, the ball seeker Terence Higgins put on a long face. "Captain, the next time you help us apply for leave, can you be a little gentler? For a moment, I thought I wouldn't be able to live for long …"

Zheng Fan smiled and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't worry, Higgins. It's just a small disease curse. It's easy to get rid of.

Looking at Zheng Fan's confident look, Higgins breathed a sigh of relief.

"And even if you really can't hold on, I can replace you in the ball chaser position. So it's okay." Zheng Fan smiled and continued the second half of his sentence.

* … Flowers … 0

Higgins could not breathe for a long time.

Looking at Zheng Fan's relaxed manner, as if he was talking about the weather, Higgins felt like crying.

Zheng Fan gestured with his hand. "Very well, everyone is here. We should start now!

The broom is ready! "

"Yes!" the other six answered in unison.

Zheng Fan nodded and looked at the broom in his hand. It was a spoil of war he had found when he was tidying up the space bag. It was a new broom from Nimbus Corporation that was still being tested. The original owner of the broom had been killed by Nimbus Corporation because he had leaked Nimbus Corporation's confidential information.

In order to avoid getting into trouble, Zheng Fan made some slight modifications to the broom's appearance. First, he painted the broom with a layer of metallic paint. Then, he turned the broom's ears into a silver-grey color. The broom now looked like an oddly-shaped battleship from the interstellar era.

Looking at Zheng Fan's heaven-defying broom, the goalkeeper, Blackie, could not help but be curious. However, he wisely chose not to ask. This broom had obviously been magically modified, so it was definitely not ordinary. If he heard something he should not hear, it would be very troublesome.

Under the watchful eyes of the six people, Zheng Fan slowly walked to the large leather box next to him and reached out to open it.

Two wandering balls were struggling uneasily. Zheng Fan looked at the two batters on his team and said, "Boys, hold the bats well. You guys have to be responsible for our safety."

"Yes, yes!

Sir!

We will definitely complete the mission! "the two hurriedly answered.

Zheng Fan nodded and released the two balls. The two terrifying things directly rushed into the sky.

Then, Zheng Fan took out a golden ball from the small box.

"Higgins, this is your lifeblood. You must practice well. It's best if you practice until you can catch it whenever you want and leave it if you don't want to." After saying that, Zheng Fan casually threw the golden Snitch into the sky.

When he took out the last red Ghost Fly Ball, the team members all rode on the brooms.

"Let's go!" After saying that, Zheng Fan took the lead and rushed into the sky!
