Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 309: Give it away as you like

"Okay, okay." Hermione also knew that the boys were not interested in Gilderoy Lockhart's classes, not just them, but all four houses.

Hermione didn't force it. At least Harry and Ron had crammed for the midterm exam scores, which shouldn't hinder her too much.

A few days before the exam, Professor McGonagall had returned to normal classes. She strictly checked the homework assigned by Dumbledore and then added the extra points that deserved. Snape was not idle during her absence.

In order to strengthen knowledge consolidation, Professor McGonagall specially spent one class reviewing what Dumbledore taught during his teaching time, because this was also within the scope of the exam.

After finally finishing his busy review, Carney discovered that there was still a pile of letters in the pendant when he was free.

"Oops, I forgot the letter." Carney took out a stack of letters, all of which were addressed to Harry.

"Harry, this is the letter I received for you during the New York competition. As for the postage, I will reimburse you for it." Carney put all the letters in front of Harry, who was playing chess with Ron.

"What?" Harry was interrupted by the sudden letter. He was no match for Ron at chess.

"It seems that you are so famous abroad." Ron picked up a letter with a big heart on it and read: From Harry Potter.

"I never look at these things." Harry had no intention of opening them and reading them. He couldn't finish all the ones he collected at school.

"You don't want to know how open-minded foreign girls are?" Simo encouraged from the side.

Carney didn't listen much to what they talked about later. He hadn't read the letter from Clodia Dove yet.

He opened the letter eagerly. The letter was a little bulging. They wouldn't have stuffed money inside. Carney thought and took out everything inside.

It's not money, but the address of each of them, and then there is a sentence attached: Christmas gifts are given away.

If you're cheating on gifts, just do it casually on Christmas.

Claudia Dove also added a sentence, saying that she was invited to her home to attend her coming-of-age ceremony. It didn't matter if she didn't have time.

"Then I won't go." Carney looked at the address. It was too far away. How could a person like him, who doesn't go out without leaving the door, go so far away.

Carney wrote down their addresses so they wouldn't forget about Christmas.

"Carney, what are you remembering?" Hermione came over with a book in her arms. She had been reviewing the content she had learned recently, and she was afraid that she would encounter something she had read but didn't remember well during the exam.

"I was writing down the list of people who wanted to give gifts for Christmas, and I almost forgot about the friends I made at the exchange meeting." Carney put the letter away and began to draw circles and crosses behind each person's name in the notebook.

"Oh, it's just that the cross is given casually, and the circle is given casually after thinking about it." Carney replied honestly.

"Why am I not on top?" Hermione heard and immediately looked closer, but did not see their names in the book.

"Because I have memorized it in my head and don't need to use a notebook to record it." Kani closed the notebook, and the passers-by A, B, C, and D were recorded on it. They were still the ones who were going to be sent to the school, but Perilokani was struggling. Do you want to send her as a gift, but since she hasn’t come recently, it’s probably best not to let her rekindle her old relationship.

No, there is no old love at all.

The exam lasted for two days, and immediately after the exam it was Christmas. They had no classes but exams for a week, so it was called exam week by Carney.

The day before the exam week, their second-grade exam classrooms were arranged, and every classroom was filled with students. All the four colleges were arranged in separate rows.

Because there are much fewer people in the second grade than in the first grade, there are two examination rooms.

Snape's Potions test was at the end because it was the most complicated. Because of the written test and the actual operation, the Potions class test questions were all only after entering and seeing what questions were on the table before you knew what potion to configure.

In order to avoid following the trend, everyone's questions are different, so it is useless to watch other people's operations. This is why Snape speeds up the teaching process.

From the first grade till now, I have learned how to make no less than forty potions. There are exactly forty places in a classroom (exclusive examination room for Potions). Which potion you get randomly depends on your luck.

"Merlin bless you," Ron muttered before walking into the examination room.

"You should say Hermione, he is in the same exam room as you." Carney passed by him and patted his shoulder. He was in the same exam room as Navisimo, and Hermione, Harry, and Ron were in another.

"Come on, Merlin is better." Ron was under a lot of pressure, because Ginny's scores in the first grade were good, and the family already knew that the exam was a big deal. Whether he could have fun at home during Christmas depended on the exam.

"You'll know it's useful." Carney walked into another examination room. Hermione's study group couldn't say how serious they were, but they all listened and could always remember something.

At the end of the day, the exams for History of Magic, Herbalism, and Defense Against the Dark Arts were over. When Carney left the exam room, he saw Ron and Harry beaming with joy.

"Hey, how's it going?" Carney stepped forward and asked.

"Not bad, most of them are good, except for the Defense Against the Dark Arts paper." Ron's expression was very relaxed, and his eyes were not as dark as he thought when he got the paper.

"So you should know who to thank." Hermione was preparing to accept Ron's thanks.

"Thank you! Carney, if you hadn't joined the study group, I would never have joined." Ron turned and overtook Carney.

"Oh, you're welcome, wait a minute." Carney sounded uncomfortable, "Didn't I just enter after you all entered?"

"Hermione told us that we only went in to observe after you entered." Harry spread his hands and said, "On the day you come back to class."

"Hermione told me that day that I got in because you all got in, otherwise how could I need a study group to study." After Carney finished speaking, he looked at Hermione, Ron and Harry were also looking for her.

However, the big living person who was standing aside had long since disappeared. Even before Ron said those words, he felt that something was wrong and had already taken the first step.

Hermione's explanation for this was to help Harry and Ron make up lessons. Later, everyone revealed the matter after the results came out, but Ron said he would never be fooled again.

The exam went very smoothly, at least that's what Carney thought. He felt refreshed when he came out of the Potions exam room.

Things were not going well for the others. There were more than forty potions, and it was a pity that Harry didn't have that good luck. You could tell from the way they looked at the cauldron in the exam room in a daze.

Since Snape was standing in front of Harry's desk and staring at Harry, Neville breathed a sigh of relief.

"Are you all going back?" Harry said. Those who came home for Christmas will leave tomorrow.

"No, I got the letter that they are going to Egypt to visit Bill, and we plan to spend the Christmas holidays at school." Ron shrugged, and he meant George, Fred, Ginny and Percy.

"I'm going to stay at school too," Hermione said, but didn't say why.

"Hey, it looks like we are the only three going home." Carney put his arm around Neville and Seamus' shoulders.
