Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 176: Xiaohei, you are fired

"That's too bad, Harry, but I have good news for you. Dumbledore didn't hire a skull dance troupe."

"This doesn't seem to be the point." Hermione looked at the freshman who was in a bad situation and was a little angry at Kai for talking nonsense.

"I'm going to inform Madam Pomfrey, and you guys will help him to the infirmary first." Carney looked at seven or eight first-year students walking out of the stairs.

"If you still have an appetite, the dinner is not over yet." Carney turned back to the banquet.

The first grader took over the pale student Lu Ban, and Carney came to the teacher's table at the banquet and immediately informed Madam Pomfrey.

"You really never stopped for a moment, and the ghosts didn't pay attention..." Madam Pomfrey muttered, but she immediately got up and rushed to the infirmary.

Harry and the others also entered the banquet. There was no food prepared for Nearly Headless Nick's death anniversary party.

Harry and Ron had gone hungry at noon in order to eat more at the party, and now they were extremely hungry.

The food at the banquet was wolfed down, and many little witches laughed like pigs when they saw Harry eating.

Harry blushed and slowed down. Ron didn't care about this. He grabbed a chicken leg in each hand and ate it in big bites.

Hermione moved slightly to the side, turned her face away and ate her dinner, pretending not to recognize Harry and Ron.

"Where's Neville?" Carney didn't see the fat Neville.

"He met a ghost at the party who had some knowledge of botany, and they had a very interesting chat." Hermione said, "Neville was asking him questions."

"Okay, you guys eat slowly."

Carney returned to the dormitory early, ran to the bathroom and started taking a shower.

It had not been properly washed in the past month, so Carney specially scrubbed his back three times, and a layer of fine skin came out.

To his surprise, the scars on his back were smooth.

But the big crack is still there, and the red scar looks very conspicuous.

"It's the effect of the potion." Carney touched his back. It was smooth without any ridges or depressions. It must be because Madam Pomfrey applied the potion on his back.

"Scars like this are a bit dazzling." Carney put on his clothes. He had already heard the sound of his roommate coming back from the dormitory.

"Fortunately, I didn't miss the dinner, otherwise I would have risked going to the kitchen to solve my stomach problem." Ron and the others were talking about what happened at the death anniversary party.

"Where does their moldy and smelly food come from? The kitchen?" Seamus asked curiously, and Harry and Ron felt a little nauseous when he said this.

"How is it possible? The elves are responsible for the food in the kitchen. There is no expired or spoiled food at all." Carney came out with wet hair. He liked the feeling of a little moisture in his hair.

"Nick should have asked Dumbledore to order it specially, but spending money to buy expired food is quite wasteful." Carney found a cushion and placed it next to the window.

"Do ghosts have money? I mean, can their money buy things for living people? He has been dead for so long." Seamus remembered that Nick seemed to have been dead for hundreds of years. Did he have money to hold a party?

"Five hundred years, maybe he hid the money." Harry guessed.

"Yeah, maybe the money he hid has been corroded. Where can he hide it for five hundred years?" Ron was a little hungry and disgusted, so he didn't have any good impression of Nearly Headless Nick's party.

"He's a knight. He might have built an underground vault, otherwise Dumbledore wouldn't have much money to support him in holding a party." Carney found Little Black under the pillow, so it wouldn't be hidden anywhere else.

"Underground vault!" Seamus shouted, obviously interested in this.

"Underground vault." Ron repeated. "At that time, rich people with some status would have it, but it was very hidden. Gringotts didn't exist at that time."

Seamus lost interest, picked up his clothes and went to the bathroom. Harry and Ron had just eaten and didn't want to take a shower.

"By the way Ron, have you asked about studying? It's a waste to go to the party with a magic spell." Carney came back only after seeing Neville holding a notebook.

"Don't mention it." Ron also wanted to ask, but the ghosts looked really unfriendly, and he didn't have the guts to ask.

The school ghost chatted animatedly with the ghosts who came to attend the party. They just walked around a few times and watched some of the party activities.

The headless hunter riding on horseback gave them a good excuse to leave early, otherwise they would have starved to death by the time Nick finished reading the speech that stretched several feet on the ground.

"Kani, have you started writing the paper for Potions class?" Neville's first thing when he returned to the dormitory was to study, but he really didn't have much clue about the homework left in Potions class.

"Half done, four feet is really troublesome." Carney flew the homework on his desk towards Neville.

"Thank you." Neville didn't care. He just took Carney's for reference. He could include an introduction to the plant materials used in his homework.

Carney's is more high-quality. If he had followed Carney's writing, Snape would have spotted it at a glance.

Carney's homework can only be used as a reference, not copied. It is easy to be discovered, because Carney is proficient in things that they are particularly not proficient in.

Such as transfiguration, spells, potions. But it's better than nothing, and it helps a lot if you follow it.

Hermione had learned a lot, but they couldn't see it at all. Only Carney and Neville could borrow Hermione's homework.

But Harry and the others didn't really need it. They copied History of Magic from the book and Neville was in the Herbology class, so there was nothing to worry about in their homework.

"It's too early to finish the Potions homework. It was assigned in the morning." Ron lay down on the bed, eating and drinking so much that he couldn't think about the homework.

"I asked George to bring me a deck of wizard prophecy cards this week. We can play with that tomorrow." Ron didn't want to discuss homework.

"Prophecy card? Can it predict?" Harry has only played wizard cards.

"That's right, but the prophecies are about general things, and I haven't played with them before." Ron got dozens of gold galleons and prepared to buy one because Hagrid sold the dragon scales.

"Do they sell that in Hogsmeade Village?" Carney hasn't been to Hogsmeade Village yet. Although it is said that he can only go in the third year, it is still very easy for him to go.

He remembered that Hogsmeade only had an inn, a candy store, a few bars, decoration shops, and clothing stores.

"Of course, there is a grocery store with many interesting things in it, but they are all very expensive." Ron heard the Weasley twins talking next to him almost every weekend.

They seem to have bought a lot of pyrotechnics recently, including a salamander.

"I also have to ask them to bring me a pair." Carney was naturally interested in prophecies.

"Kani, do you still need a prediction card?" Harry said, "Can't you predict it yourself?"

"Of course, but it would be more convenient if there are some auxiliary tools." Carney is not really a prophecy, he just knows the plot in advance.

"Okay, go to bed." Seamus came out of the bathroom. He was not interested in predictions or homework.

Carney went to bed, and he also planned to relax for the night. Xiao Hei saw Carney go to bed and followed him.

It is about to start working again. As long as it is working, it does not need to practice. However, when it is in trouble, the master does not lie down.

"Xiao Hei, you're fired, now go back to practice!" Carney no longer needed Xiao Hei's back massage and pointed to the mat next to the window.

"Hiss~" Xiao Hei tried to be coquettish and cute, but the snake's coquettishness and cuteness did not work on humans.

"Go quickly, I will get up from time to time to check." Carney was rather puzzled. Even though there was such a good tool as the demon pill to assist in training, Xiao Hei was still too lazy to practice.

It’s true that a well-fed man doesn’t know how hungry he is, and he can stand and talk without back pain! Kani was lying comfortably on the bed. His cultivation was too slow. Without any natural talents or unique skills, it might be difficult to improve significantly.

Kani can only meditate to recover when he is injured. If he meditates and practices normally, it will be impossible for him to reach the next level in three to five years.

Of course he can do it now, but Xiao Hei's level of foundation building is a bit far behind. If Xiao Hei continues to be lazy, he may not be able to break through until next semester.
