Harry Potter's Catastrophe

Chapter 117: Slytherin’s Basilisk (Part 1)

"Smash it to pieces! Everyone, it's blind, come out and hit it!" Carney first fired a Crushing Curse.

The basilisk suddenly stopped when he heard the sound. After being hit by a Crushing Curse, the damage to it was only a hole as big as an egg, and the huge snake head turned to the top of the stone statue.

"So resistant!" Seeing that the Crushing Curse had such a little effect, Carney couldn't think of a spell harder than the Crushing Curse.

Carney immediately stopped the next action. Looking at the basilisk's head from the front was really tingling. His legs gathered strength and were ready to dodge at any time.

It seemed that magic attacks were not very effective, and only physical attacks could be used. Carney thought about it and activated his spiritual power at the same time.

"Cluck, cl ... "That basilisk is really scary, so big." Fred held the still crowing chicken, "Ron, you guys are going to get out."

"Cluck, cl ... "Don't just press the chicken, use magic." Carney waved his wand and the water in the surrounding pool surged, blocking the surrounding holes and the hole of the gate.

"Shattered into pieces!" "Fainted!" "Smashed to pieces!" "Flocks of birds!" "All petrified!" "Fainted!" "Fainted!"

Everyone began to focus on the roaming basilisk, but it was difficult to hit it.

"Hiss!" The basilisk hit the entrance of the frozen passage. It also turned its head and wanted to get rid of them with the chicken cry, but halfway through, it tilted its head away from them.

Carney sealed the road tightly, put away the wand, and after more than a dozen crushing spells, the basilisk only had a few more small holes. It would be better to roll up his sleeves and hammer it himself.

The basilisk was too slippery. Every time he wanted to trap it with magic, it would suddenly speed up and slip away. The impact of the basilisk immediately smashed Carney's unformed ice cage.

Even the sealed passage and gate were almost smashed. Carney reinforced it several times. Fortunately, there were chickens to drive the basilisk away.

"You go up there, hide a little, I'm going to start a melee."

Carney used his spiritual power to fill his body. Now his spiritual power was enough to cover his body. When Harry and the others climbed onto the head of the Slytherin statue, Carney cancelled the transformation into a chicken.

"Hiss!" The basilisk stopped in the distance and looked at them with bloodshot eyes.

"Carney, how did you untransform?" Ron felt less secure, as there was no furry thing in his hand that would make a sound when he pinched it.

"Will it be scared to death if it keeps screaming? Our magic is not very useful, let me do physical attacks instead." Carney shouted, "Keep your voice down, don't make any noise."

Ron stopped talking, and George Fred stood in front of Harry and the others.

"Carney, be careful!" Hermione shouted.

"Hiss!" The basilisk finally couldn't help it. Without the rooster's crowing, it was going to start a killing spree. It wasn't for nothing that it was so big.

"Carney, be careful, I heard it say it wants to tear you apart!" Harry said anxiously. The basilisk had been screaming before, and Harry didn't understand what it was screaming. Anyway, he didn't understand it, so he just kept squeezing the chicken.

"Don't worry!" Carney charged at the basilisk.

"Hiss!" Swinging its tail, the basilisk located Carney according to the sound and smell, and moved forward quickly with its abdomen rubbing against the ground, rushing around.

The basilisk opened its bloody mouth and bit Carney, and the blind eye sockets seemed to reveal a fierce light.

"Ha!" With a wave of his arms, his palms accurately grasped the upper and lower mouths of the basilisk. Carney did not retreat, but took a step forward and pushed the head of the basilisk.

"Ah!" The people on the stone statue exclaimed, almost thinking that Carney was going to die. They were watching when the basilisk hit the ice wall. If the man was hit, he would not know what would happen.

"Everyone! It's not a big deal!" Carney said with great effort. The basilisk was surprisingly strong. Its mouth was only half a meter away from him, revealing a row of large fangs, with the two under its nose being the longest.

"Hiss!" The basilisk tried to retract its mouth, but was held tightly by Carney, unable to close its mouth. It twisted its body and began to surround Carney.

"Hiss!" The basilisk wrapped its body around Carney's, coiled on the ground several times, and its strength became even greater in its coiled position.

"Carney!" The man on the stone statue saw that the situation was not good and shouted, "Are you okay? We are here to save you!"

"Don't come down, it's just a little tight, I can't free my hands to pry it open, watch me tear its mouth apart!" Although Carney's hands were wide open, he still couldn't tear the basilisk's mouth apart.

The maximum opening of Carney's hand is 180 degrees, which is just over one meter. The basilisk's mouth can easily open to this length.

"Kani, is it really okay?" Neville shouted.

"It's okay, it's just a stalemate. It can't do anything to me, and I can't solve it at once." Carney twisted his arm and tried to break the basilisk's neck, but he failed.

"Are you tired, Carney? If so, let's use the sleeping spell to rescue you together." Fred shouted, and they all sat on the stone statue, not nervous at all.

"I'm almost wearing it out!" Carney wasn't tired either, compared to the basilisk's posture.

"Hiss!" The basilisk has rolled its body with all its strength, but it can't squeeze it. The small body is as hard as a copper wall, and the snake's mouth is almost stiff when it opens.

"Hiss!" The basilisk licked Kani with its tongue and circled around Kani's head, leaving a pool of saliva.

"Ouch!" Carney exclaimed, but the tongue attack could not cause actual damage to him. Carney shook his head and shook the saliva on his hair.

"Hiss!" The basilisk took advantage of this and rolled up Carney into the air. However, Carney was still holding its mouth, and the basilisk lifted Carney up in a strange posture.

"Kani, be careful!"

"Hiss!" The basilisk raised its head and raised Carney above his mouth. As long as he let go, Carney might fall into his mouth and be eaten by it.

"It has a good mind, but I have already thought of this situation." After the basilisk's body was released, Carney held the snake's mouth with his hand and did a handstand.

"Hiss!" The basilisk lost its patience and began to shake its head crazily, as if it had taken gunpowder, throwing Carney into strange shapes.

"Kani, are you dizzy?" Simo stared at it for a few minutes, "I feel dizzy!"

"..." Carney.

"Kani, now is a good opportunity, let go and get out, otherwise it will hit the wall and be miserable." Harry gave advice to Kani.

"Hiss!" The basilisk suddenly paused and then moved toward the wall.

"Harry, crow's mouth, it understands what you say!" Carney looked at the approaching black wall and had to let go.

"Be careful!" Carney let go and landed. The basilisk definitely didn't want to fight with him.

"Hiss!" The basilisk finally broke away from the vise that pinched its mouth, and quickly closed its mouth comfortably. It didn't want to open its mouth anymore for the time being.

The basilisk turned away from Carney and rushed towards Harry and the others on the stone statue. It reached the pool under the stone statue in a few breaths very quickly.

"Ah~ cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck cluck clack~ ah~" Someone above started to imitate the crow of a chicken, but it was of no use. The basilisk arched its body and Carney was too late to rush back.

"Blackie!!!" The basilisk slammed into the head of the Slytherin statue and used its head iron, intending to smash these fake chickens to pieces.
