It was visibly that Carrow was getting angry.

But behind him, Professor McGonagall showed a mocking smile.

Malfoy turned around and saw that students at the Gryffindor table were already laughing without hiding.

They were going to be in trouble.

Malfoy thought so, and then began to think about what he could do.

He was afraid that he could only run away or hide with these reckless Gryffindors. Luke certainly didn't want that to happen, because he said that they should study hard in school.

Just as Malfoy was thinking this, Carrow had announced the punishment: "Gryffindor will be detained! For three days!"

Professor McGonagall stood up without hesitation: "They still have to go to class."

But the Carrow brothers and sisters laughed together.

"No, they don't need it!"

"The most important course in Hogwarts is respect for Voldemort! Three days of detention will make them understand this!"

Then the dinner began.

Malfoy was surprised to find that the food for the dinner had become less and looked a bit shabby.

In sharp contrast, the Carrow brothers and sisters were piled up with food.

Malfoy couldn't help laughing.

Although the house elves at Hogwarts were skilled, Malfoy still felt that Mrs. Weasley's food was more delicious. The Carrows obviously didn't know what enjoyment was. They were just asserting their authority at the expense of comfort.

But what surprised Malfoy even more was that as soon as the dinner was over, the Carrows drove the entire Gryffindor to detention.

They didn't seem to be going to let them sleep.

This obviously angered Professor McGonagall, but even if Professor McGonagall dared to stand up, she couldn't stop the Carrows.

Because the current headmaster is Snape.

That's right, the Snape who didn't speak for Dumbledore and didn't show any excitement, making Malfoy think that he was just the headmaster of Slytherin again.

For a moment, Malfoy felt that he and Snape were the same kind of people: people who laughed at the Carrows.

But immediately hatred overwhelmed Malfoy like a tide.

If Snape hadn't intervened, Malfoy's plan would never have led to Dumbledore's death.

The other three colleges followed the prefects honestly and walked towards the common room.

Interestingly, Slytherin now has no prefect, but everyone still consciously followed Malfoy's footsteps.

This made Malfoy feel a little uncomfortable, but he didn't show it.

After all, there was still something to do tonight.

After returning to the common room, Malfoy went into the dormitory as soon as possible.

He found the suitcase under his bed. After opening it, Malfoy saw the big snake, which was still staying where it should be, which made Malfoy breathe a sigh of relief.

If the person carrying the luggage was not Hagrid, it might be a Death Eater or Filch. No matter who it was, it might be affected by the Horcrux. If the big snake was really exposed, Malfoy's mission would be impossible to complete.

Then Malfoy closed the suitcase and went to bed before his roommate noticed anything.

Soon it was midnight, and Malfoy woke up to Crabbe's snoring, quietly got dressed, and walked out of the common room.

His destination was the place where Gryffindor was detained, and now was the best opportunity.

Unite all the forces that can be united, this is the method that Luke once told Malfoy.

The situation is far worse than Malfoy thought, so he will use whatever methods he can.

He quietly walked through the corridor and headed straight for the secret route he found in the last school year.

Then, at the corner of the upward stairs, Malfoy bumped into Snape.

He seemed to be going back to his office.

The two were stunned for a moment.

"Draco..."

"Snape..."

Snape sneered: "So you call your dean, professor, principal, and protector like this now?"

Malfoy shook his head: "Think about how you got the position of principal. Do you dare to say that you are worthy of Dumbledore?"

Snape shook his head: "Of course, I don't think I owe Dumbledore anything, but he owes me a lot."

Malfoy was stunned for a moment.

He was really shocked by Snape's shamelessness.

Then Snape shook his head: "Go back to your dormitory. I won't deduct points from Slytherin, but it doesn't mean I will let you run around at night."

Malfoy was silent for a while.

Then he thought of a solution: "I'm going to find Professor McGonagall. She asked me to come out."

Snape looked at Malfoy and laughed.

"Let's ask Professor McGonagall what she would say."

Snape turned and walked upstairs.

Malfoy followed.

He didn't know why he suddenly felt like lying. Maybe it was because the impulse to give up after the last failure had never disappeared.

But what surprised Malfoy even more was why Snape didn't see through the lie directly, but had to verify it.

Then the two came to the door of Professor McGonagall's office together.

Snape turned and glanced at Malfoy: "If Professor McGonagall is asleep, I will soak you in the potion that Longbottom failed to make."

At that moment, the door of the office was opened.

Professor McGonagall was standing at the door.

"What do you want to talk to me about, Professor Snape?"

Malfoy spoke before Snape: "It's me, Professor. You asked me to come over. Professor Snape thinks I'm violating school rules."

Professor McGonagall turned and glanced at Malfoy, then looked up at Snape: "I have something to do with him."

Professor McGonagall snorted coldly: "He failed the Transfiguration class in sixth grade. If you want to pass the Ultimate Wizarding Exam this year, you have to study outside class. Of course, you, the Head of Slytherin, never care whether a Slytherin is There’s no way to graduate, right?”

Snape was speechless. He turned around silently, glared at Malfoy coldly, and then left, swaying his black robes like a bat.

Looking at Snape's back, Professor McGonagall shook her head: "Now tell me, why did you run out in the middle of the night, Malfoy?"

Malfoy nodded: "The kitchen is just above the corridor at the exit of the Slytherin common room. I don't think the Carrow brothers will give Gryffindor food."

Professor McGonagall looked at Malfoy and was silent for a moment.

"I don't think what you did last school year was a big mistake. Even without you, Snape and Voldemort would still not let Dumbledore go."

"Lu Ke should think so too, otherwise he wouldn't let you go to Weasley's house."
