Harry Potter and the Attack of the Squibs
Chapter 21 Copying books
Snape glanced at the office door.
Harry couldn't tell whether the expression on his face was gloomy or not. After all, Snape usually had such an expression. No one could tell whether he was expressionless or gloomy.
"Come in."
After the door was opened, Malfoy appeared behind.
He was obviously surprised when he saw Harry.
But Snape didn't care: "What do you want, Draco?"
Malfoy glanced at Harry, hesitated, and then decided to state the request directly.
"I want to learn Occlumency, Professor."
A look of surprise flashed across Snape's face, then he glanced at Harry.
Seeing that he was silent, Malfoy seemed a little worried. He looked at Snape with a pleading look on his face: "No matter what you ask me to do!"
Snape nodded: "The week begins at the end of the week, come here on Saturday morning."
After saying that, he saw off the guests.
Although they still wanted to say something, Harry and Malfoy turned around and left.
They knew it would be useless if Snape didn't want to.
In the corridor outside Snape's office, Malfoy looked at Harry with confusion: "What are you doing here?"
Harry shook his head, walked up the stairs and left without saying anything.
…
After that, Harry started looking forward to the weekend.
But what he didn't expect was that the next Defense Against the Dark Arts lesson would make him so painful.
Umbridge was just as Harry expected, a witch working for the Ministry of Magic. She completely gave up teaching the students at Hogwarts anything, and just made everyone memorize the text like the History of Magic.
Although all students were reluctant, they could not resist a professor.
But to Harry's surprise, Umbridge didn't target him.
Harry originally thought that this person from the Ministry of Magic would definitely regard him as the main target.
Later Harry knew why.
Umbridge regarded Lu Ke as her main target.
One day at dinner, Gryffindor, who was a grade above Harry, talked about their Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
According to them, Umbridge came entirely for Lu Ke.
And it is indeed the case.
Umbridge had already suffered the price of failure before, and both Fudge and Voldemort were very dissatisfied, so she came here just for Lu Ke this time.
In fact, this is a very simple plan, as long as it keeps causing trouble for Lu Ke, all other effects, such as maintaining Fudge's prestige and confirming Lu Ke's identity as the rumor maker, are incidental.
Voldemort now hates Lu Ke beyond measure.
Let's ask him. He was hiding in Malfoy Castle, guarded by Death Eaters, but Lu Ke rushed to him easily. If he hadn't been resurrected through the blood of Harry Potter and protected by a powerful spell, then Voldemort might even have been able to survive. Died in Lu Ke's hands.
Once such a conjecture appears, Voldemort will go crazy once, so he has only one request for Umbridge, and that is to bring endless trouble to Lu Ke.
A very simple truth can make Lu Ke feel a hint of threat. Even if there is only a hint, Umbridge will die in an instant. Simply looking for trouble will have some effect.
Therefore, Umbridge's performance in the first class was to give Lu Ke dozens of times as much homework as other people.
And she chose a very smart approach: to announce the moment get out of class was over and then leave.
Lu Ke was simply stunned.
While he was there, Umbridge had disappeared.
When Harry was stunned when he heard this, Lu Ke was being laughed at by Johanna.
"It's amazing, Lu Ke. Your homework is ten times more than mine. You copied the textbook three times..."
Johanna almost laughed out loud.
Lu Ke smiled helplessly: "Why on earth would she do this?"
Johanna shook her head: "There is something in her body that is blocking my ability. It is not a blockage, but random false news, coupled with the protective magic inside Hogwarts..."
Lu Ke sighed silently: "I don't understand. Fudge really thinks this is enough?"
Johanna was silent for a moment: "Actually, in Umbridge's heart, she felt that this was Voldemort's request."
Lu Ke fell into silence.
This is information that is difficult to distinguish between true and false. Everything surrounding the dementors was very strange.
The dementors were very restrained, and the dementors gave up automatically after Lu Ke spared them. Fudge has not panicked because the dementors have lost control, and everything seems to be hidden.
If the root of all this is that there is a Death Eater whom Fudge completely trusts, and he, or she, has performed several performances with the dementors to prove that the dementors are still loyal to the Ministry of Magic, then Fudge's reaction can be explained.
But this is only a possibility.
And that makes it even weirder.
"Voldemort would actually give her such a boring task?"
Lu Ke couldn't help but shake his head.
He did lose once in the matter of John Strange, but to Voldemort, Lu Ke was also an irresolvable threat.
With Voldemort's personality, he would never be so gentle and restrained when facing Lu Ke.
So Lu Ke fell into an unprecedented confusion.
…
In the Defense Against the Dark Arts class in the second week, Lu Ke did not turn in his homework.
Umbridge looked at Lu Ke with an obviously unhappy expression, but Lu Ke was the complete opposite.
He wanted to see Umbridge to her limits.
But contrary to Lu Ke's expectation, Umbridge didn't say or do anything.
This surprised Lu Ke.
He couldn't understand why this happened.
But Umbridge's classes continued, and she made everything boring, and even made everyone hate the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
That kind of hate for the history of magic.
At the end of get out of class, Umbridge announced that Lu Ke would be placed in solitary confinement.
Lu Ke finally breathed a sigh of relief.
If Umbridge really did nothing, Lu Ke would even have to worry about whether she would have completed her plan long ago.
That would be such a failure.
So Lu Ke left the classroom happily after class.
Johanna walked out of the classroom with him and looked at him with a smile in the corridor: "What you did completely violated your previous insistence."
Lu Ke smiled helplessly: "I hope Professor McGonagall won't be angry..."
In fact, Professor McGonagall was indeed angry.
After the next Charms class, Professor McGonagall left Lu Ke alone.
Lu Ke was a little surprised.
