  The tools needed in aquaculture are seedling picking boards and frames. The seedling picking boards are used to collect juvenile sea urchins with attached abnormalities. It can also be used as an attachment substrate for the cultivation of juvenile sea urchins and provide diatom bait for the attached metamorphic seedlings. The frame is mainly used to assemble the seedling picking board to make it easier to operate and manage.

  Among them, the seedling picking board is a non-toxic transparent polyvinyl chloride corrugated board, with a length of half a meter, a width of forty centimeters, and a thickness of half a centimeter. There are undulating ripples on the board, and the wave height is about 1.5 cm.

  There are two types of frames for assembling the seedling picking board: basket type and folding type. Each frame can be assembled with 20 seedling picking boards.

  Under the normal process, before attaching juvenile sea urchins to the seedling plate, first put diatom seeds, and then during the breeding process, add nutrients to the juvenile sea urchins by growing diatoms.

  Daqin Fishery does not need this. Raising diatoms is a time-consuming activity. Qin Shiou directly collects seaweed and puts them on the seedling board. Their fishery is rich in high-quality seaweed and can be self-sufficient.
