83. Valentina’s Evil / The Fallen Conclusion Part Two: The Queen of the Vampires (2)

As Noah’s utterly dismissive taunt echoed through the air of the secret realm, a swarm of flickering red dots soon appeared in the pitch-black sky. Accompanying these red dots was a cacophony of sharp cries that threatened to deafen anyone who heard them.

The entire forest of the secret realm was filled with bloodsucking bats, all gathering together, flying towards Noah.

“Ha! Just a bunch of flying rats! What are you trying to pull?”

Unfortunately, even a scene that would send adventurers into a panic only deepened the provocative smile on Noah’s face.

Noah certainly knew that bats and rats were not closely related, but for these bloodsucking bats, which could somewhat understand human tones, they would undoubtedly be enraged by Noah’s words.

…Moreover, there was a queen among them who was under their command.

The bats, mocked by Noah, were clearly more agitated, but they understood that Noah was truly dangerous, so they did not recklessly launch a ‘kamikaze attack’ against him.

Instead, they landed about ten meters in front of Noah, delivering a woman whom Noah found quite familiar.

Her already pale skin appeared even more eerie under the cold moonlight, giving off a vibe that was more monstrous than during the day.

However, this woman had somehow managed to snatch a black dress, making her look somewhat more presentable than in daylight.

Of course, “presentable” was relative, considering she had directly walked into a losing scenario after entering a defeat play.

In Noah’s eyes, no matter what, there could never be a truly charming princess.

And it wasn’t that Noah was being picky; the vampire queen could transform herself into a bat, while this queen of the bats was delivered by them, which was a completely different level of prestige.

This was the relationship of dominion and subjugation.

As he watched her glare at him with intense hatred, Noah raised an eyebrow and continued to provoke her:

“Well, well, well, isn’t this the princess who lost to the bats? It’s been a few hours, and you’ve really let yourself go! Oh, wait, it seems you never really stood up at all.”

“…Human, shut up!”

Noah simply couldn’t bear to see her in such a fallen state, deliberately masking his disappointment with taunting words.

However, he didn’t expect the princess to actually respond, and in a voice that was cold and filled with displeasure.

“Oh?”

This caught Noah’s interest, as he had thought she had completely lost her ability to speak.

“So you can talk! No, wait, it’s because it’s night, so the bats’ attributes have increased, giving you, the ‘queen,’ a chance to speak, right?”

Noah fixed his gaze on her delicate, pale face, ruthlessly voicing his reasoning, which was not far from the truth.

The moment his words fell, a strange shade of blue appeared on the princess’s face.

It was akin to the flush of anger humans displayed when embarrassed; the princess looked quite furious.

“…I will kill you! Drain your essence dry!”

Finally unable to contain herself, the princess commanded the bats behind her to launch an attack on Noah.

But this was also within Noah’s expectations.

“Haha! As expected, even with your newfound language skills, you’re still not that strong!”

Noah laughed heartily, opening his arms wide as if he were welcoming the bats that had defeated the princess to come and feast on his blood.

Seeing that Noah was foolish enough not to run away, the bloodsucking bats charged at him like mad.

But it’s important to note that they were not attacking Noah because they were ordered to do so by their queen, the princess.

Rather, it was because they wanted to attack Noah that the princess would issue such a command.

The current princess was nothing more than a puppet queen, just like that snake lady from before—an illusion that should not exist, a new defeated ending that did not exist in the original story.

Perhaps it was a result of Noah’s influence, or perhaps it was for some other reason.

But since these illusions intended to interfere with what Noah was about to do,

Noah would face them head-on without mercy, as a form of respect for those who clearly should not exist yet still clung to him with such fervor.

…Except for the monsters that caused their defeat, Noah held no respect for a group of beasts that had died yet would respawn, lacking self-will and driven only by instinct.

Extending his arms to embrace them was also because Noah was about to use the attack skills of the evil god.

As the fastest bat was about to dive onto Noah’s shoulder, preparing to suck the blood from the side of his neck,

It flew right over Noah’s shoulder, then plummeted to the ground like a powerless airplane, crashing down with a ‘thud.’

At first, it was just that one, but as more and more bloodsucking bats approached Noah, the number of crashing bats increased, and soon the ground around Noah was piled high with the corpses of the bats.

This bizarre scene made the princess’s eyes widen in disbelief, unable to comprehend how she could be at a disadvantage in her own nighttime domain.

“What’s wrong? Come on, didn’t you want to suck my blood? Your Majesty the Queen, don’t be shy, come and drain me dry! To be so pathetic in front of a ‘human’—I’d be so embarrassed I’d want to die!”

That was a statement from someone who didn’t even know who the real villain was. An evil grin appeared on Noah’s face as he warmly invited them to come forward.

Whether it was the bloodsucking bats or the princess who shouldn’t exist over there,

He was more than welcoming, of course.

Provided they could actually do it.

“Just a human! Just a human!”

Furious, the princess repeated her words as she flew toward Noah, her expression unmistakable—she truly harbored a resentment that she could not hide, as if she wanted to squeeze the life out of Noah.

Noah saw through it; this princess hadn’t lost her personality, but her memories and intelligence had essentially hit rock bottom. Her actions were no different from those of the snake monster she had transformed into.

…It was hard to tell if it was just an illusion, but this princess, who didn’t exist in the original story’s defeated endings, seemed to have a significant interest in devouring Noah, particularly through s*xual predation.

But Noah was no delicate, weak-willed protagonist; what he needed to do here was, of course, to stand his ground.

Because even if Noah didn’t move, the princess would crash just like the bats, face-planting before she could reach him, ultimately sliding right up to Noah’s feet.

With her low intelligence, she didn’t understand what was happening, her face filled with stubbornness as she simply wanted to devour the dark-haired youth before her.

Even though her beautiful dress was now stained with mud and had become ugly, she struggled to rise, instinctively continuing her attack.

But before long, Noah’s light and carefree voice drifted over from behind her.

“Although you’re in a terrible state, you still have a beautiful face, so you’re still quite good-looking, and your clothes are still decent, scoring around 70 out of 100. However, your underwear doesn’t seem to be that great, and it’s the same style as the ones you usually wear, isn’t it?”

“!?”

The princess, who was trying to get up with her hands supporting her upper body, turned her head back in terror upon hearing these words.

As it turned out, Noah was vigorously lifting up her skirt, admiring her underwear with great interest.
