Game of Thrones: Lord of Winter
Chapter 135 The Little Devil's Wedding
Cole sat at the round table, with Duran and José sitting on either side.
The wedding was held in the hall of the Prime Minister's Tower. When Cole arrived, quite a few people had gathered here.
The servants led them to sit down here and brought them wine glasses and plates.
There were always people looking at them, which made Cole feel a little unnatural.
Duran and José seemed to be unable to adapt to such occasions. They pretended to be serious and sat upright, taking a sip from their wine glasses from time to time.
Suddenly, there was some noise in the hall, and Cole saw Tyrion walking in from the door holding Sansa Stark's hand.
The groom wore a black velvet top decorated with golden vortex patterns and a necklace with rubies and lion heads around his neck. His face was extremely solemn and dazzling.
The bride wore an ivory wrap dress with silver satin trim, long sleeves to the ground, a white velvet shawl decorated with pearls, a silver necklace holding the cloak chain around her neck, and a dire wolf pattern on her head.
Cole noticed Tyrion's eyes looking over here, and he smiled and nodded slightly to the little devil. The bride actually looked over here, and there was despair in her eyes, although she was well disguised, and there was a long lingering sorrow.
The Eye of Time gave him a vision far beyond that of ordinary people. Even if he didn't deliberately open it, his vision was still terrifyingly good.
They walked to the wedding altar, and the monk stood between the Virgin Mary and the Heavenly Father, praying to the Seven Gods.
The light of the candle was swaying and jumping, and the hall was dim. Cole saw the girl crying, and her misty eyes were full of mist.
He slightly moved his eyes away. It was really too difficult for this typical noble lady to marry Tyrion.
The newlyweds exchanged cloaks, and a blond boy replaced Sansa's father.
Joffrey Baratheon, the Great.
He was tall, blond and white, and looked quite handsome, but it was a pity that people could not be judged by appearance. This kid was a bad embryo, very cruel and irritable.
Sansa Stark liked him to death at first, but soon his true colors were revealed.
Tyrion's cloak looked very heavy, red velvet embroidered with rubies and gold silk. Sansa was too tall, and Tyrion couldn't even reach her shoulders.
He walked behind the bride, and he wanted to put his cloak on her shoulders to represent eternal protection, but even if his short and fat hands were raised high, he couldn't reach it.
Cole could see the sweat soaking from Tyrion's forehead. He walked slowly, as if he could see the embarrassing situation he was about to face.
Tyrion gently pulled the bride's skirt, hoping that she would bend down slightly.
But our bride seemed to be unaware and stood upright.
He pulled it again, but there was still no response. Cole saw that his face was as red as a flame.
Cole stretched out his hand to call a servant to hand him his chair, but he saw that his face was full of embarrassment.
Seeing this, José stood up suddenly, took the chair, pushed through the crowd and sent the chair up.
Everyone was puzzled as to where this person came from. He put down the chair and stood solemnly behind a silver-haired young man.
Cole saw Tyrion sending him a grateful look.
The groom stood on the chair and covered the bride's shoulders with the scarlet golden lion cloak.
The monk held the crystal high, shining under the candlelight, "Here, in the presence of the gods and the world," he said loudly, "I solemnly declare that Tyrion of the Lannister family and Sansa of the Stark family are married. From now on, they are one body, one mind, and one soul, forever. Anyone who interferes with their marriage will be ruthlessly cursed."
The ceremony was over and the banquet began.
The Tyrell family arrived late.
The newlyweds sat in the center of the main seat, and people came forward to send their congratulations.
Tyrion nodded with a gloomy face, and mostly drank alone.
Cole came over with a glass of wine and raised the glass, "Congratulations, Tyrion."
The little devil forced a smile with difficulty, "Thank you." It was unclear whether he was thanking him for his blessing or thanking him for helping him relieve the embarrassment.
Cole drank the wine glass, stepped back, and sat quietly in the corner with the knights of Dragonstone.
The musicians began to play music, and it was time for the nobles' dance.
King Joffrey and the future queen Margaery danced hand in hand, and the whole hall was immersed in the joy of dance music. Prince Tommen and Queen Cersei were all on the dance floor.
Cole's eyelids twitched. He had never attended anyone's wedding. No one got married on the Wall, and he had never learned any noble social dance. He lowered his head and took a sip of wine.
Suddenly, footsteps approached, and countless eyes shone over here, and the corner of the castle became the focus in an instant.
With golden curly hair and a luxurious long skirt, the queen stood in front of the table, pulled out a chair and sat down slowly. She had just finished dancing with her father, Lord Tywin.
She smiled and kissed her lips, "Sir Julius, why don't you come down and dance?"
Cole suddenly had a bad feeling. What did Queen Cersei want to do? Did she want to see him make a fool of himself?
He looked at Duke Tywin, who was sitting at the main table and didn't smile, and saw that his eyes were also looking here.
"Forgive me, I'm drunk, Your Majesty." Cole said politely.
"Dancing can sober you up, my lord." Her eyes were burning and a little majestic.
Cole was about to say something but stopped, slowly stood up, and stretched out his hand to salute, "I wonder if I would be honored to ask the honorable Queen to dance with me."
She placed her jade hand in her palm and slowly walked to the dance floor.
She danced to the music.
Gods, what should he do?
Cole's eyes flickered, and the dance floor froze instantly. He watched the men's movements and the women's steps.
No one could have imagined that the Marquis of Summerhall danced so well.
He used the Eye of Time to learn the dance steps, and absent-mindedly answered Cersei's whispered words.
She seemed to enjoy the dance very much. They leaned together, and sometimes she would stick to Cole and fall into his arms. The scent of perfume filled the air, causing a little virgin to feel a turmoil in his heart.
He was not a eunuch, but a man. And Cersei was definitely a great beauty.
At the end of the song, he returned to his seat a little tiredly. He never thought that one day he would use the Eye of Time to dance.
Fortunately, he didn't make a fool of himself.
The dance music changed its tune, but the dance floor was still active.
Cole saw countless pairs of eyes looking at him with desire, and he pretended to ignore them and drank.
"It's time to make trouble in the bridal chamber! Let's take off her clothes and see what this she-wolf can use to mate with my uncle!" Suddenly, Emperor Joe shouted loudly.
"I don't want to make trouble in the bridal chamber." Tyrion said in a low voice.
Please forgive me, my dear lords. I have been working hard on typing. I started writing after dinner, but my hand speed is too slow. Four thousand words are already very difficult.
