Yan Songnan thought about what Yan Qingsi said. Confliction showed in his eyes. “But… what if… What if they do give me the death sentence? I wouldn’t have any means to keep living.”

Yan Qingsi chuckled and said, “Then you should just show more meritorious behavior!”

“What meritorious behavior?”

“Reporting a crime! In a homicide, you have perpetrators and accomplices. If you confess and push everything onto the perpetrator, that will solve everything.
