Zhishen smiled slightly, "Buddha's meaning is profound, it's more than a quiet mind. I think the three donors are very eager to learn, how about I give you these three Buddhist scriptures?"

Without waiting for them to refuse, the monk Zhishen asked people to fetch them three sutras. What surprised them was that these three Buddhist sutras were not only old versions, but also had dense annotations in small characters.

Even if they don't believe in Buddhism, they know how valuable such a Buddhist scripture is, and they will refuse after looking at each other.

Bai Shandao said: "There is too much knowledge in the world, already existing and unfinished, and people's lifespan, wisdom, and energy are limited, so people should focus on it, and the knowledge of the world cannot be learned and studied. "

Zhishen understood what he meant. "The three donors are neither interested in, nor understand the principles of Buddhism. How can they easily assert that Buddhism is misleading?"

Bai Shan and Man Bao couldn't help, and even Bai Erlang heard his complaints, and he couldn't help but say: "We haven't read Buddhist scriptures deeply, but it's not that we don't know Buddhism. Force the world to agree."

Bai Shan glanced at Bai Erlang with disapproval, and before he could speak, Zhishen said: "Master Zhou is talking about Buddha in the hall, let His Majesty despise Buddha, and His Majesty is leading the world, what is this not coercion?"

"It's the Buddha Way!" Man Bao emphasized: "I'm not talking about Buddha, but Buddha and Dao!"

Man Bao looked at Zhishen who was sitting across from him and said seriously: "And among them, Buddhism is the least likely to be beneficial to ruling the people."

Zhishen didn't expect her to talk about politics directly. Seeing her so determined, he asked with a smile, "Why is this? The Dharma is so mysterious. If all people learn the Dharma and do good deeds, there will be fewer disasters in the world."

Bai Shan asked quietly, "Aren't the monks in Huguo Temple free of resentment, separation of love, flaming five yin, and inability to seek?"

Zhishen froze for a moment and then said, "Yes, even poor monks cannot escape these four sufferings."

"The monks who recite the scriptures in the temple morning and evening can't get rid of the four sufferings, let alone the people." Bai Shan said: "With these four sufferings, they can't get rid of birth, old age, sickness and death, so there are still a lot of jealousy and disputes. The calamities in the world will not be reduced by this.”
