Chapter 162: Portuguese Longnose Dragon—Out!

Chapter 386 Portuguese Long-nosed Dragon - Out!

The cold wind blew, like a blade cruelly cutting Harry's cheeks.

The sun hanging in the blue sky seemed like an illusion, without bringing a trace of warmth.

Now, they were heading to Hagrid.

Not long after Ginny ran out, Hagrid's letter was delivered by Hevid.

Hagrid invited Harry and the others to have breakfast and talk about the topic he and they were going to talk about yesterday.

The misunderstanding in the morning had been resolved after Ginny thought about it carefully.

But Ginny still looked cold to Ron, just like the cold wind that blew from time to time.

She tied Harry firmly to her left hand, far away from Ron on her right hand.

According to Ginny's original words, before Ron found a girlfriend, she decided to keep a distance between Harry and Ron.

"What's wrong with you?" Draco tiptoed to Ron's right and touched Ron with his elbow.

"Nothing."

"Nothing--well, if you must know."

"Today in the dormitory, Ginny saw that Harry and I had an accident--" Ron glanced at Ginny with his peripheral vision and said hesitantly.

"What?" Draco asked.

"It's almost the same as that photo."

"What photo?"

"Rita Skeeter's photo." Ron and Draco asked and answered, and before they knew it, Harry and the others had walked away.

"Hey, wait for us!"

.

In a blink of an eye, they had arrived at Hagrid's hut.

"Kids, you must be hungry." The sausages on the pan in Hagrid's hand sizzled.

Ron swallowed and wanted to say something, but Alaspad jumping on the spider web in the corner of the room kept him silent.

"Well, it's delicious."

"What is this made of? It tastes a bit like chicken." Harry ate the sausages that Ginny fed him on the side with the chickpeas on the plate.

"Dragon meat."

"It took me a lot of effort to figure out how to process it."

"Can you believe it? Just marinate it with the secretion of the Bandiman for ten minutes." Hagrid was amazed.

Ron subconsciously wanted to vomit, not knowing whether it was because of Alaspade or the Bandiman.

Ron knew it very well.

Before Ginny was born, their house was not as clean as it is now.

Bandiman is a magical animal that is found all over the world. It is good at crawling under the floor and behind the skirting board.

It has many eyes and looks like a slightly green fungus.

They appear in groups in residential houses, feed on dirt, and can destroy the entire house.

Usually the stench of rotting things will attract the appearance of Bandiman and attract them to secrete juice for digestion.

It is precisely because of this that Ron hardly touched the sausage again in the following time.

Ginny and the other two ate it very happily.

Ginny had hardly seen it since she was born, so she didn't know much about Bandiman.

The same is true for Draco and Harry.

In their living environment, they had never come into contact with such rampant magical creatures.

Ryan, who was nestling in the dormitory, smacked his lips. He never thought that Hagrid would actually handle dragon meat like this.

He understood Ron very well. Ron's performance was actually the same as the production process of old phlegm pickled cabbage he heard in his previous life.

The scene returned to Hagrid's side. Harry ate the last sausage, and Ginny was wiping Harry's mouth intimately.

"Hagrid, do you have any questions to ask?" Ron forced himself not to look at Harry and asked to divert attention.

"Professor Dumbledore suggested that I ask for your opinions."

"It's like this. I'm going to choose a group of magical creatures for the competition next school year. You all know what I like. The Ministry of Magic notified me that if I really want, I can choose three of the following types of dragons: Hebridean Black Dragon, Peruvian Venomous Dragon, Portuguese Long-nosed Dragon, Hungarian Horntail." When Hagrid read the names of those dragons, his eyes seemed to be shining.

"Get rid of the Hebridean black dragon?"

"They are in the Scottish Hebridean Islands, not far from Hogwarts."

"And the McFasties (a wizard family) have always maintained the tradition of taking care of the Hebridean black dragon."

"You can ask for one in the name of Hogwarts."

"In the competition - well, I think it's better to choose a rarer dragon." Draco, as a dragon lover, made a rigorous analysis.

"But - they are too cute: black, rough scales, a row of shallow but razor-sharp ridges on the back, a pointed arrow at the tip of the tail, wings like a bat, and a pair of rare bright purple eyes." Hegla pulled his long beard, and his black beetle-like eyes were full of entanglement.

"What about the Peruvian Venomous Dragon?"

"There are so many of them that we need to send additional dragon slayers."

"And it is the origin of dragon pox." Draco, whose grandfather died of dragon pox, cast a crucial vote for the Peruvian Venomous Dragon.

"But - it is the smallest and fastest dragon of all known dragons, only about fifteen feet long and has the smoothest, copper-colored scales." Hagrid refused again.

"Hungarian Horntail? It's too dangerous."

"It is the most vicious and aggressive dragon."

"The fire-breathing distance is very far, about 50 feet." Draco covered his face with his right hand and analyzed again helplessly.

However, when Draco said the most vicious and aggressive one, Harry knew the result without listening.

"No, no, no!"

"It can never be ruled out!"

"It is covered with black scales, has a lizard-like appearance, yellow eyes and bronze horns, and its tail also has spikes close to bronze in color."

"With that fierce firepower, is there a more lovely dragon than it?" Sure enough, as Harry expected, Hagrid stood up abruptly, waving his palms as big as a palm leaf fan, and was very excited.

"Then it can only be the Portuguese Long-nosed Dragon!" Ron, who had no say in the dragon, suddenly raised his hand.

Draco rolled his eyes on the side.

He was actually a little angry about Hagrid's repeated denials, and Ron's quick answer made him full of revenge at the moment.

So, Draco looked at Hagrid with a sly smile.

"Not impossible." Hagrid stammered.

Draco scratched his ears doubting his life - did he hear wrong?

"Then why are you hesitating!"

"You obviously have the answer yourself!" Draco accused unhappily.

"I haven't seen it."

"I haven't seen a living Portuguese long-nosed dragon." Hagrid smiled shyly.

His expression was like he was about to meet his beloved girl who had been away for a long time.

"I really admire you!" Draco couldn't help rolling his eyes.
