Everyday Players at Hogwarts
Chapter 107: Changed Class Schedule
The Astronomy Tower is the tallest tower in Hogwarts.
You can't go up there except for classes.
Astronomy courses and evening exams are held here. To get to the top of the tower, you have to climb a steep spiral staircase.
To be honest, it was hard for Ryan to understand why Crabbe and Goyle would always stay fat in the original world line, especially in Hogwarts with so many stairs.
But Ryan immediately thought that they were Slytherin students, and they usually went downstairs to the basement. The most exercise they did was probably the stairs they climbed during class.
The professor of astronomy was Aurora Sinistra, a very talkative witch, so she often came to the opening banquet and other dinners, and seemed to like talking to the teachers next to her. Ryan and others often saw her at dinner in the auditorium.
In the first-year course, the only thing Ryan and others needed to use was the folding brass telescope required to be purchased in the Hogwarts notice.
In class, Professor Sinistra mainly taught Ryan and his friends how to use a telescope to observe the starry sky, as well as the names of different stars and the orbits of planets.
Interestingly, Ryan also heard Harry's analysis.
"Professor Sinistra's last name comes from the Latin word sinister, which means left side, facing left. And Aurora, in English, means aurora, which comes from the Latin word aurora, which means dawn. It is related to dawn, and it may come from aurora." Harry probably got obsessed with "The Evolution of Spells" and wanted to analyze when he saw a new name.
This almost deducted points for him, and he returned the extra points for the spell class. At the same time, Harry was glared at by Hermione (Harry didn't listen to the class seriously).
But none of this matters. The most important thing is that there are relatively few homeworks.
This allowed Ryan and his group to maintain plenty of energy after class. It took about 15 minutes for the first-year students of Ravenclaw to finish their homework.
This also gave Harry extra time to keep asking people about Professor Snape's news. After all, there was a potion class tomorrow morning, and this professor was also a guy who was friends with his mother in his aunt's words.
This made Ryan couldn't help telling Harry that his mother was very good at potion learning. As the descendant of Snape's friend, he estimated that he would definitely ask him to answer questions and suggested that he review some common potion knowledge.
To be honest, this was not Ryan's alarmist talk. According to the original world line or the original schedule, Gryffindor and Slytherin were the students of the potion class on Friday morning.
After Harry was assigned to Ravenclaw, Snape actually changed the schedule, and couldn't help wanting to look Harry's green eyes openly and more quickly.
In this potion class, there were not only the children and descendants of Snape's favorite people, but also another guy who Snape was angry with, that is Neville.
Neville was another child who met the conditions in the prophecy. If Voldemort found him first, then Lily would survive.
This made Snape deny him with words, destroy his confidence, and cause trouble for him in the original world line.
Of course, what Snape didn't know was that the reason why Voldemort went to Harry Potter first was because Harry was more similar to him, both of them were half-blood, the offspring of pure-blood wizards and Muggle wizards.
With reverie, Ryan washed up and fell asleep.
The next morning, Harry got up early and read "Magic Potions and Potion" by Arsene Gigg like a demon. Ryan looked at Harry unexpectedly. It seems that yesterday's reminder was very useful.
Today's breakfast in the hall is simple food such as oatmeal porridge, bread, and eggs. The only thing with a little taste is a dish of white sugar next to the oatmeal porridge.
Almost all the little wizards are adding sugar to the oatmeal porridge.
"Ryan, why are you always smiling?" Harry asked curiously. He had noticed this mysterious friend. His mood was usually related to the richness of the food in the hall. How could Harry's summary of Ryan's smile law fail before it was accomplished?
"Why? Shouldn't I smile?" Ryan said in surprise. Although the food was not good, the first real meeting between Snape and Harry was about to begin. As a Harry fan, how could he not be happy?
"Okay." Seeing that Ryan was not prepared to answer the question seriously, Harry ended the meaningless conversation.
The Potions classroom was located underground, not far away was the Slytherin common room, and even the Slytherin Dean's office was on the same floor.
"I'm so envious. It would be great if Professor Flitwick's office was in the Ravenclaw tower." Hermione suddenly said something shocking.
"Ah, what's so good about this? The professor is right next to me. Anyway, I must be uncomfortable." Ron said. After a period of time, Ron gradually managed to keep a normal heart and talk to Hermione without blushing.
"But it's really far, and it's tiring to go down the stairs," Neville said with a cold sweat, holding a standard size No. 2 tin-plated cauldron used in class; a set of glass or crystal small medicine bottles; a brass balance.
As they spoke, Ryan and others entered the potion classroom.
This classroom is very large and can accommodate at least 20 students.
It feels like entering a store selling potions. If a Muggle comes here by chance, he might even think that this is the laboratory of Frankenstein in a horror movie.
The wall was filled with glass jars soaked with animal specimens, and there was a storage cabinet next to it, which stored various raw materials that students might use when making potions.
There was also a blackboard behind the podium in the classroom, and the podium was still empty at this time.
After a while, the Hufflepuff students also came in. Dudley was far behind the crowd, and his fat body made him regain his confidence.
After the Hufflepuff students came in, the whole cold and shivering classroom immediately changed its style and became noisy.
From time to time, the Hufflepuff badgers pointed at Harry and Dudley. In this atmosphere, Dudley, who was originally frightened by the gloomy style when he entered the Potions classroom, also regained his spirits.
However, Professor Snape came in and changed.
He seemed to have some magical power. As soon as he came in, the whole classroom became quiet. With his black wizard robe, he was like a dark cloud, blocking the joyful sunshine that just existed in the classroom.
Even Dudley, who was originally brought to Diagon Alley by Snape to purchase teaching supplies, no longer had his head held high. He returned to the way he was when he first came to Hogwarts to study.
