Chapter 538 Zhongfu Pavilion

On the day Hua Zhenxing just flew back to Wucheng, Old Man Yang and Mr. Feng each gave him a classic. Hua Zhenxing also studied it carefully during this period, and the harvest was indeed very great.

Let’s talk about the "Fine Fragrance Pu" first. Old Man Yang said that it was copied from the Zhengyimen Scripture Collection Pavilion. It was bound into a booklet with the best quality Tan Xuan, with small regular script calligraphy and ink illustrations.

The cover of the manuscript has three large characters written on it: "Fan Fang Pu", and next to it are the small characters "Compiled by Yang Tiangan of the Immortal Family". After opening it, there is no order or postscript, and it is just the content.

Hua Zhenxing has never seen the original handwriting of this book, but just by looking at Old Man Yang’s handwriting, it can be said to be excellent!

In fact, if Old Man Yang wants to pass on his classic, there is no need to write another copy himself. It is easier to photocopy the original copy or directly copy it with spiritual thoughts. It is easier to pass it on as it is.

Hua Zhenxing didn't know that the reason why Old Man Yang did this was because he thought the original handwriting was not eye-catching, but he didn't want the book to be lost forever, so he made some corrections when copying it.

After reading it, Hua Zhenxing decided to store Yang Tehong's manuscripts in the Diange in Yangyuan Valley, and issue a batch of photocopies internally for the tutors to study.

What Hua Zhenxing didn't even know was that there were inscriptions at the beginning and end of the original handwriting, expressing his admiration for a female cultivator named "Zhi Yan".

This book was written by the immortal Yang Tiangan during the Tang Dynasty of the Eastern Kingdom. The purpose was to give it to Zhiyan to please him, and at the same time to show off his erudition.

Zhiyan was a Taoist companion of Patriarch Zhengyi, and he obviously wanted to poach him. Although he did not succeed in poaching him, this "Fan Fang Pu" is conclusive historical evidence.

Later generations of disciples of the Zhengyi sect did not destroy this book, but put it in the Sutra Pavilion to eat ashes, which was considered very generous.

There is another thing that Hua Zhenxing is not clear about. The "Meal Fragrance Book" is in the Sutra Collection Pavilion of Zhengyimen. It is a classic that only the heads and elders of the past dynasties are qualified to consult. Other disciples such as Guang Ren and others cannot see it. of.

As for why Old Man Yang was able to produce a transcript, he didn't explain it, and Hua Zhenxing didn't know the inside story either.

At any rate, he was quite particular and didn't copy down the two inscriptions and postscripts. He just copied the content and made appropriate corrections. There were also some unnecessary gossip in the book.

Yang Tehong said that he was somewhat inspired by this book when he helped Hua Zhenxing research and create the recipe for Five Qi Chunrong Dan. Hua Zhenxing also noticed it, because he was also inspired a lot.

The name "Fan Fang Pu" looks like a recipe, but there are not many dishes in it that can be seriously served at a banquet. A large amount of its pages describe how to refine various other things using Qunfang as the material. It might as well be said to be an alchemy book.

People outside the world can eat clouds and flowers, which was a kind of taste in ancient times. Various soups, teas, floral dews, etc. are made with various fragrances, which not only have various special effects, but can also assist spiritual practice.

For example, there is a kind of "Wandering Rose Dew", which is made from Seocho rose petals. It not only relaxes the muscles and activates the collaterals, harmonizes the blood and calms the liver, but also leaves a faint fragrance lingering around the body after taking it, which can make the person who smells it feel refreshed.

What really made Hua Zhenxing's eyes shine was a "five-color and five-flavor drink" recorded in the book. It can assist in keeping the mind calm when walking, sitting or lying down. Even if ordinary people drink a few drops before going to bed, the effect of soothing the mind and nourishing the skin is quite good.

The shadow of the Five Qi Chunrong Dan can be seen in this, and its refining techniques are worthy of Hua Zhenxing's study. Unfortunately, Hua Zhenxing cannot refine it yet.

One of the reasons is that the materials are rare and difficult to find, and the other is that the refiner is required to have at least nine realms of cultivation.

The elixir recipes in "Fan Fang Pu" basically have these two characteristics. It would be feasible if they were only refined in small quantities by the immortal family, but there is no basis for large-scale promotion, let alone mass production in a nearly industrialized manner.

But "Mean Fang Pu" is also an important teaching material for Hua Zhenxing, from which he can understand and learn the various methods used by experts to refine elixirs.

As for the "Hundred Flowers" that Mr. Feng gave him, the style is different from "Fan Fang Pu".

This Song edition of the book may have lost its cover because of its age. If it weren’t for the word Baihuaqian sewn into the pages, I might not even be able to figure out the name.

However, its pages are very well preserved. If you only look at the first "dish" recorded in it, you will think that it is similar to "Fine Fang Pu". It is called Ruimei Honey.

The so-called Rui Mei Honey is rose red and translucent like honey. When taken, a drop of it is taken under the tongue and it dissolves, leaving a cool and sweet fragrance that permeates the whole body. As a medicine, it can also treat various internal injuries and assist in the recovery of the furnace. At the same time, it has the effect of relaxing and revitalizing the spirit.

Ruimei honey has another use. When practicing the jade liquid Zhoutian in alchemy, it can be held under the tongue, which will help the magic.

Hua Zhenxing feels that the "Auspicious Rose Honey" in "Hundred Flowers" seems to be competing with the "Wandering Rose Dew" in "Fan Fang Pu" because the materials they use are all Ruicao thorn roses.

Ruimei honey can be refined by Hua Zhenxing. The minimum requirement for the refiner of the elixir is to have at least a Dacheng cultivation level, and Hua Zhenxing is not only a Dacheng monk, but also a master of external alchemy.

As for the Ruicao thorn rose, you can also get it from Huazhenxing, Zhengyimen, Qianliu Mountain, and Baihuayam Field in Fanglongguan.

But if you look back at "Hundred Flowers", you will find that the so-called Rui Mei Honey seems to be just a false shot. The content behind is mainly recipes, either directly using flowers as ingredients, or using flowers as supplements and seasonings.

There are cold dishes, stir-fried dishes, steamed dishes, deep-fried dishes, grilled dishes, soups, and more interestingly, there are also meat and vegetable dishes!

How come there are meat dishes in "Hundred Flowers"? Although there are flowers in every dish, it is not just flowers. Flowers are sometimes the main ingredient and sometimes the auxiliary ingredient.

For example, there is a very common home-cooked dish in the modern East called Mushu Pork, which uses daylily flowers. Can it be said to be a vegetarian dish? Although there is no mosu pork in "Hundred Flowers", there are several similar dishes.

For example, one of the dishes requires the use of fresh lotus leaves and lotus flowers that are about to bloom, but the main ingredient is frog. Hua Zhenxing had heard of the beggar chicken, but he had never heard of the lotus frog, which was actually called Beauty Chushui.

Another feature of the recipes in "Hundred Flowers" is that most of them use common ingredients that are easy to collect. They are definitely not rare and hard to find, but many of them are picky in their requirements.

For example, there is a pickle, which is simply pickled cucumber. It uses cucumbers with flowers, which are picked before the flowers wither. Such cucumbers are about the size of a girl's finger. They are picked with the flowers and look quite delicate when they are done.

There are also nonsense explanations in the recipe, saying that "melon is the essence of the flower", "take the essence before the flowers fall," "condensate its essence to form elixir", "everything in ordinary things can taste vitality" Jinghua", and also named this dish "Jingguadan".

Whose elixir is in the shape of a cucumber with flowers on it? And it’s really made of cucumbers, so you can eat it with flowers!

After the cucumbers bloom, they need to be thinned out. You cannot leave every flower bearing melons. Just choose the cucumber under the flower receptacle and thin out the vines when it grows to about the size of a finger. It can be used for cooking. In fact, many people have eaten it.

Although most of the ingredients in "Hundred Flowers Delicacy" are ordinary, the processing techniques recorded in it are also not simple. Although they are not as mysterious as the requirements of "Food Fragrance Book", they must at least have the foundation of Dacheng cultivation.

The book "Hundred Flowers" is very thin and has many illustrations. Except for the dish of Rui Mei Honey at the front, the rest of the book is just a table.

Mr. Feng should have asked Hua Zhenxing if he could make this banquet? Hua Zhenxing might as well set up a table, make an appointment first, and then invite all the important partners, not just him and Mr. Feng.

The place where Hua Zhenxing made this table of hundred-flower delicacies was in the island pavilion of Huanxiang Garden. He called Teacher Ding, Bai Shaoliu, You Fang, Cheng Tianle and others.

Teacher Ding still couldn't be contacted. It was said that he was visiting a small world somewhere again. However, after hearing the news, the elders Zhu Shanxian and Tan Hanchuan of Fangwaimen came to have this meal together on behalf of Fangwaimen.

When Shi Buquan and Shang Ni heard about this, they also expressed their intention to attend and be responsible for receiving their elders.

Bai Shaoliu, You Fang, and Cheng Tianle originally said they were busy with something, but after understanding that what Hua Zhenxing wanted to do was a feast of flowers, they all said that other things didn't matter and that they had to come and give face to Director Hua no matter what.

They were not alone here to save face, so they gathered a large table. Of course, Manman also came from Pingjing. Wang Feng listened to the news and claimed that he had some official business that needed to be handled here, so he took the opportunity to attend the banquet.

But Huazhenxing didn't ask Wang Fengshou to come. He just said that he would look for another opportunity next time. This time, there was no room left at the table.

Although Hua Zhenxing did not ask Wang Fengshou to come over, he took the initiative to call the three elderly people, especially Old Man Yang. As a result, Uncle Mo couldn't be contacted; Mrs. Ke didn't plan to come, but asked Hua Zhenxing to send him a copy of the book "Hundred Flowers".

Old man Yang actually didn't come to join in the fun, saying he was busy, but he explicitly asked Hua Zhenxing to make a hundred-flower delicacy for him at another time.

There is a three-story pavilion on the island in the center of Huanxiangyuan Lake. The main purpose of building it is to train the art of nourishing energy. Even ordinary residents living in Huanxiang Garden cannot see this island and pavilion on weekdays.

Those who are qualified to board this island have already mastered the cultivation of Yuan Yuan, and are at least a first-level Yuan Yuan master.

There is a bamboo forest in the southeast corner of the lakeshore, which is about an acre and a half. In a residential area or living area, it is already an exaggerated area. There are several winding paths in the forest, and there are light poles and surveillance cameras at each intersection.

There is also a sign on the street light pole that says "Stealing bamboo shoots is strictly prohibited and violators will be severely punished."

There are some other plants growing among the bamboo forest, including wild strawberries growing on vines and shrub raspberries nearly as tall as a person. There are also two types of raspberries, yellow raspberries and red raspberries, both of which are delicious anyway.

If someone is allowed to enter the island in the middle of the lake, a road that does not exist before will suddenly appear in the bamboo forest. Walk along this road to the edge of the lake, and there will be a long stone bridge close to the water leading to the island. This scene is what ordinary people are looking for. invisible.

The main part of the first floor of the three-story pavilion on the island is a hall with a pulpit. There are no chairs in the hall, and there are many futons placed on the shelves along the walls on both sides. Almost two hundred people can sit here at the same time.

There are stairs on both sides of the entrance on the first floor, and there are five classroom-like rooms on the second floor, two on each side of the corridor, and one at the end, each with different functions.

The third floor is the tutor’s office, lounge, and teaching and research room. The top of the building is a large open platform, with a hexagonal pavilion built on the platform. There is a round stone table and six stone drum benches in the pavilion.

The Hundred Flowers Banquet organized by Huazhen House is in the hall on the first floor of the attic. There is a large round table in the center of the hall, which can seat fifteen or six people without feeling too crowded.

On one side of the hall, Huazhenxing set up a long operating table and a row of stoves. It was unclear how the water was connected to the water supply. It was a fully open kitchen for cooking on site. What was on the shelf behind him was not a futon, but an assortment of flowers and delicacies.

Manman came yesterday and is also helping out this afternoon. However, many of the dishes in "Hundred Flowers" use processing techniques that only a Dacheng monk can master, and Manman's cooking was a bit lacking.

Take the Cucumber Pill, for example, which looks like a fresh cucumber flower. Behind the receptacle is a cucumber that looks like a little finger, as if it had just been picked from the vine.

The first bite of flowers tastes crispy, and the second bite of melon tastes sour and crispy.

There are some dishes that Manman can make, such as a magnolia dish, which uses magnolia grandiflora petals arranged in a blooming shape along the outer edge of the plate. In the middle of the plate is stir-fried yellow beef with red and green peppers.

Hua Zhenxing knew at a glance, wasn't this the idea of Bandit Meat?

The flowers of Magnolia grandiflora are white and open as big as a sea bowl. Looking from a distance, they look like white doves parked on a green tree. Its petals are thick and spoon-shaped. This dish is to wrap the petals with stir-fried meat and eat it together.

Magnolia grandiflora petals look like they have just been picked. In fact, they have been refined with magic power to remove alkali and astringency, retain their shape and color, and actually have a sweet and waxy feeling in your mouth.

There is also a dish called Liuli Zhi, which is not the meaty Ganoderma lucidum that is a specialty of Xiaojing Lake, but the most common fried pumpkin flowers in vegetarian cuisine. It is usually wrapped in some bean flour and fried, and the texture is a bit like eating meat.

The fried pumpkin flowers at Huazhenxing are in the shape of unfolded Ganoderma lucidum, and the petals, including the juice hanging on them, are completely transparent. They make a crisp sound when you bite them. No wonder they are called Liulizhi.

Cheng Tianle and Wen Xiaoshao came earlier and were too embarrassed to sit around, so they came over to help. Both of them were in the ninth level of cultivation, and their craftsmanship was actually quite good. They made several dishes under the guidance of Hua Zhenxing’s spiritual thoughts.

Cheng Tianle was still snickering while cooking. He thought this hundred-flower delicacy was very interesting. For example, he heard that the "Hide the Stars and the Moon Darkly" dish made by Xiao Shao was actually jasmine shrimp.

The main ingredient of this dish is medium-sized green shrimp with seeds. Peeling the shells is very particular, and the seeds and kernels must be kept intact. When cooked, they can be picked up with chopsticks, just enough for one bite.

The so-called star is shrimp roe, and the so-called moon is crescent-shaped shrimp. The best ingredients are yellow wintersweet, followed by white jasmine. At this time, Jie Huazhenxing couldn't find yellow wintersweet, so he used white jasmine.

When You Fang arrived, he gestured to roll up his sleeves to help, but he was wearing short sleeves. Hua Zhenxing drove him back to the table to sit with the other guests. It was just a table of dishes, and the "kitchen" had enough people.

While Hua Zhenxing was cooking his own dishes, he watched Manman put the dishes on the plate. The magnolia dress was made of magnolia grandiflora petals. He was wondering if he could improve it and try using Lingshu magnolia next time?

Magnolia magnolia Lingshu and magnolia grandiflorum are actually not the same family of plants, but they are both called magnolia. Many of them have been transplanted into Huanxiang Garden, and they bloom every year.

Lingshu magnolia not only blooms but also bears fruit, and the fruits it produces are like irregular bunches of grapes. If you pick one and look closely, you will see that it is actually hemispherical like a chestnut, about the same size as a grape, but similar in texture to a chestnut.

It also has a hard shell on the outside and the nuts inside are edible. The nuts that have been stir-fried with magic power swell slightly when ripe, but just enough not to crack the shell. The shell will crack when you bite it lightly, just like eating melon seeds.

After the guests arrived one after another, but before the banquet started, fried magnolia fruits were placed on the table, which were used as appetizing melon seeds for drinking tea.

By the time the banquet officially started, everyone's expectations were already high. The delicious food on the table was full of color and fragrance, and everyone was amazed. You have to be polite when eating such a table, and use small cups when drinking.

But by the end of the drink, everyone got drunker and ate every drop of the hundred-flower delicacy left on the table. In the end, the plates were as clean as if they had been washed.

Hua Zhenxing's cooking skills were unanimously praised, and everyone praised him as the second chef in the world. Why isn't he number one? Maybe it's because it's more in line with the true meaning of "the husband is the only one who doesn't fight", or maybe it's because he's afraid of being proud.

Everyone hasn't had enough wine yet, but the food has been eaten. However, Huazhenxing said that he would not add any more, because the entire recipe has been finished, and every dish in "Hundred Flowers" has been served. It feels just right to eat here.

Where to eat from start to finish following a recipe? Everyone has seen it today. In fact, there is one thing that is not on the table in "Hundred Flowers", which is the Ruimei honey mentioned in the opening chapter.

Huazhenxing was also prepared. He refined a batch of Ruimei honey in advance and packed it in small crystal bottles, giving a bottle to each lady at the table today. As for men...actually there are gains!

The people present here are not ordinary people. After tasting and commenting, everyone came to the unanimous conclusion that eating this Baihua delicacy also has nourishing and spiritual effects. One of the magical effects is equivalent to taking a box of Chunrong Dan.

But the Baihua Cuisine is not Chunrong Dan, it is just a banquet. If you don’t count the labor cost, the various ingredients plus some water and electricity costs, it will only cost a few thousand yuan.

If you include labor costs...there is no way to calculate this, so let’s forget it!

Due to the irreplaceable properties of several special spiritual materials, Chunrong Dan can actually only be taken by women, but Baihua Cuisine is different. Both men and women can eat it!

It is said that one of its miraculous effects is equivalent to taking a box of Chunrong Dan. In fact, it is just a rough judgment of the experts here. This kind of banquet is not a mass-produced industrial product, and there is no quantitative standard for its so-called effectiveness.

For example, some people may take a few more bites, some may take a few fewer bites, some may take a few more bites of this dish, and some may take a few more bites of that dish. The specific effectiveness depends on the actual situation and even physical differences.

Even if you follow the same recipe, if another person makes it, the effect may be different. Even if the processing method is slightly changed or fooled, the effect may not be the same as that experienced by many experts today.

Hua Zhenxing is the founder of Yangyuan Technique and the developer of Chunrong Pill! The Baihua delicacy he made must also have its own personal characteristics in terms of "flavor".

All in all, the feast was a great success. After the cups and plates were removed, everyone was still in a state of drunkenness. I don’t know who took out paper and pen on the spot.

Mr. Feng drank too much and went to the console to get a bowl of soy sauce. He picked up a pen and dipped it in to write. Hua Zhenxing quickly stopped him and placed inkstones on the dining table. Mr. Feng took up his pen and wrote the four characters "Yi Yue Zhongfu".

Hua Zhenxing asked cooperatively: "Mr. Feng, why did you write these four words?"

Mr. Feng's face was flushed, and his breath was filled with the fragrance of wine: "Sir, the garden and the seedlings are both the garden of seedlings and the seedlings in the garden. They are like the beginning of heaven and earth, and the beginning of all things, more like The so-called Yuan in the art of nourishing Yuan.

Zhongfu is the beginning of all things in the world and the source of all living beings and races. You are not practicing alone, but you are also promoting the art of nourishing vitality in the world. It is not to bring out the vitality of one person, but to bring out the vitality of everyone. This is what I have seen and can be described as reading.

However, cultivation is also a family matter. No matter how well you promote the art of cultivating energy, it may not be able to push you through obstacles. As far as your own practice is concerned, if you want to create Yang Yuan Shu skills to break through the eight realms of cultivation, seeing the vitality of all kinds of heaven and earth is the mental method, and this is also a reading. "

Although Mr. Feng was already very drunk and almost dipped into soy sauce to write, he clearly told Hua Zhenxing that "reading all the masters" should be the "inner method" of the eight realms of Yangyuan Shu.

Hua Zhenxing knows his own situation. When he can achieve perfection after breaking through the Seventh Realm, it is not the most important big question. If he wants to realize a higher realm, he must at least be able to see the way to the Eighth Realm.

As for whether the threshold can be crossed is another matter, but if you can't even see the doorway, then you will never be able to cross it.

Mr. Feng's words to others, "Reading the famous ones", may be of no use, because others are not really good at it. It was when Hua Zhenxing heard about it after drinking that he suddenly felt something, as if he could vaguely see a line of doorways in the distance.

Being able to accept this kind of mental advice may also be related to the fact that he has been turning into cranes, sculptures, and dragons in the past six months.

Hua Zhenxing immediately announced that he had decided to frame these four words and hang them in this hall in the future. As the drunkenness increased, he became more interested, took a bigger pen, and wrote the words "Zhongfu Pavilion" with his own hand.

After he put down his pen, he said, "Thank you, Mr. Feng, for your guidance. This place will be named Zhongfu Pavilion."

Although Hua Zhenxing's calligraphy is very good, if we tell the truth, there is still a gap between his writing power and that of Old Yang. If compared with Mr. Feng's four words just now, they are just more neat in terms of method.

This pavilion on the island in the center of the lake has never been named. Hua Zhenxing named it Zhongfu Pavilion. Then someone made a plaque and hung it right above the door.

This place was originally a training place for junior Yuanyuan masters and a teaching and research place for tutors. Its nature was similar to the Yuanyuan Technique centers in various parts of the country.

Director Hua wrote the words "Zhongfu Pavilion" in his own handwriting, and a plaque was hung here. Then someone else made the same plaque and hung it on the main door of the Yangyuan Skill Center in various places. This can be regarded as a clever flattery.

Manman, the leader of the Yangyuan Shu Center, did not stop this kind of flattery. He also approved the suggestions of many instructors and named the main building of the Yangyuan Shu Center in various places Zhongfu Pavilion, which became its nickname.

These are things for later, let’s not mention them for now.

After this feast of flowers, I don’t know how the news got out, and then someone openly or secretly used various methods to persuade Hua Zhenxing to have another feast, and prepared a list of all the materials needed...

But the Baihua Delicacy is really not about the materials. The key is that Hua Zhenxing personally takes action. The second hundred-flower banquet was held a week later. It was difficult to find out who was instigating the commotion. The number one suspect seemed to be Wang Fengshou.

This table mainly invites junior disciples from various sects who are good friends with Hua Zhenxing, such as Dan Zicheng, Shi Shuangcheng, Zhang Lanyi, Guang Ren, Ye Yining, etc. Wang Fengshou volunteered to come over to receive him, to eat, drink and chat with him. Schoolmaster Lang was not left behind.

This shows that Huazhenxing's popularity is improving. After hearing the news, Fan Xing, the chairman of Fangguan Development, and the head of Qianliu Mountain came, saying they wanted to help pick vegetables, wash dishes and so on.

After the second Hundred Flowers Banquet, the news had spread throughout the world, and Old Man Yang also sneaked to Wucheng. The juniors have all invited, how can the elders not invite?

Invitations were given to the heads of Zhengyi Sect and Sanmeng Sect and several elders. In addition, during the last meeting at Baihua Mountain, the two heads of Qingcheng Sword Sect and Tingtao Villa who assisted in the investigation all expressed their gratitude in the name of thanks. Sending an invitation is also a favor.

Next, is it time to take turns entertaining each faction in Kunlun? Many people are asking about it! But it’s not good to go on like this. Hua Zhenxing thought he was a little genius in cultivation, but how did he become the little magic chef of the Eastern Kingdom now?

Huanxiangyuan Zhongfu Pavilion can simply renovate the kitchen, and Hua Zhenxing can be the chef every day! Fortunately, at the third Hundred Flowers Feast, Old Man Yang relieved him and publicly ordered Hua Zhenxing to make photocopies of "Hundred Flowers" and give them to various Kunlun sects.
