I encountered some minor problems this month.

Because I was writing too fast and constantly rethinking things, the plot in mid-to-late October became a bit chaotic.

Many readers have a point of view when reading my book, which is why I write so much about the supporting characters. They keep leaving messages, hoping to see more of the main character and less of the supporting characters.

Some readers expressed strong dissatisfaction with messages like, "I'm paying to see the main character, not the other characters." This made me consider whether to reduce the content of others and increase the description from the protagonist's perspective.

Plus, everyone kept adding votes, constantly updating. At most, I wrote 20,000 words a day, and the average weekly update volume was over 16,000 words per day.

Writing too much and too fast, coupled with my failure to think through some issues properly, resulted in some missing details.

Now that I think about it carefully, the pace still can't be disrupted.

Keeping the pace steady involves two parts. First, I will continue to write in my own way. There may be more content about other characters and plot advancement than there is now. I always tell myself, 'Don't be influenced,' but the result is that I was still influenced.

This time, I will pretend not to see those comments that affect my pace.

Second, I will try to update less, so I have more time to think about the plot and writing style, making everything smoother and more comfortable.

At the same time, I also need to let games heal my soul. I haven't finished the game I downloaded during the National Day holiday, and I'm about to get Jade Jade Syndrome.

Regarding the explanation of the two plots, it has been given before. I seriously thought about it, and indeed, as everyone said, there was a lack of more detailed plot foreshadowing and advancement. When I have time later, I will see if there is a way to revise it and add in some missing things.

But the main plot will not change. If you have read the recent chapters, you will find that some foreshadowing or details must be described by describing other things, or the obvious promotion of the overall plot.

For example, Dover fled back to Sumuli Island, which is obviously the beginning of the "Sumuli Arc". For example, writing some background about the assassination of Luigi by the imperial soldiers is the foreshadowing of the subsequent "Empire Arc".

But if I don't write these and suddenly push the plot, everyone will feel confused.

But if I write it, some people will say, 'I want to see the main character, I don't want to watch this.'

So this is the contradiction, but now I will no longer consider adopting these suggestions. I am not very suitable for the writing method of putting the camera on the protagonist's face.

Gang stories are actually very difficult to write. We always think of many cool story plots, but that's only a small part.

Most of the time, gang stories are dull, because they are either doing bad things or spacing out.

And how many bad things are there to do?

Most of the time, they are still spacing out.

In addition, I also encountered some troubles in the writing process, such as the intervention of mysterious forces, which led to many plots deviating from my previous design.

We like to watch some gang dramas and gang movies, and we think they are very exciting, because they take the most exciting part of the development process of a gang, or even multiple gangs, and combine them together.

And these stories are not long, maybe each season only tells one story, and overall it only tells a few stories.

But novels are different. We can't keep writing "a few months later" or "a few years later", so we have to add more stories to promote the whole thing.

Some readers asked how much is left of the Golden Port City arc. In fact, it is already halfway through. Lance still has several goals to achieve before the second arc will begin.

The Golden Port City arc is not the end of the Federation arc, but only the beginning of the Federation arc.
