Because the antenna field of view of the Shrike's seeker is only eight degrees, the F-16 carrier aircraft must dive down and aim at the radar after climbing to find the target. At this moment, the carrier aircraft is the most dangerous.

A Shrike missile detached from the wing rack and flew towards the radar vehicle on the ground. At the same time, the radar warning sound came from the headset. The other party had activated the guidance radar and locked the F-16.

The pilot did not panic and continued to use another Shrike missile to lock the guidance radar vehicle. When the second missile was fired, he immediately dived to low altitude.
