In the ancient Eastern countries, due to the lack of technology, it has been constantly imitated and improved, and it has become a huge J-7 family. When it was improved to the J-7E with double delta wing and leading edge maneuvering flaps, the maneuverability has undergone a complete change.

Most of the ones used by Indians now are manufactured or overhauled by their own Stan Aviation Co., Ltd., with a very high accident rate. In later generations, until retirement, MiG-21 crashed nearly 500 times, which is an absolute flying coffin.

After the four MiG-21s took off, one of them continued to climb, while the other three flew low and entered the nearby mountainous area.
