District 9

I have held back a lot of words and want to chat with you all (with update notice)

I woke up at ten o'clock this morning, read book reviews, and thought about the plot, but I have been stuck until now and can't start writing. Instead, I have something in my heart that I want to talk to you about.

Where to begin?

Let’s talk about the transformation of the book “Section 9”.

From the beginning of this book, I have positioned myself to write an apocalyptic novel that is completely different from the market style. It must have a sense of depth, characters, scenes, and plots in special circumstances, as well as complex stories. Human reaction. While uncovering the evil side, there must also be warmth and inspiring things, and use multiple angles and details to depict a real world.

I ask myself that I have achieved some of the previous self-requirements so far.

In the early stage, in order to stay alive and to survive better, Qin Yu's team focused all their conflicts and struggles on the ground. What many readers see is the exhilarating feeling of Qin Yu’s rise step by step, but what I want to express to you in a subtle way is——

The monopoly of pharmaceutical companies, orphanages under the glitz, rampant human trafficker gangs, multi-racial discrimination and conflicts, and the situation of the radiation village that once contributed to the region, etc.

The contradictions, starting points, and endings of each plot are all different. They are all stories that I want to tell you in a subtle way after thinking about them for a long time, so that some serious readers can enjoy reading and gain something different at the same time. Same thing.

Entering the middle period, Qin Yu began to enter the military and political system for the sake of fame and fortune, and for the better development of the group.

During this period, a corner of the magnificent era has been unveiled. While the warlord forces collided with each other, they felt refreshed:

There is also a king with an iron hat, looking at the northwest war zone from a distance, seeing the helplessness of seeing 10,000 compatriots killed in the battle;

There is also the pain of Xiang Zehao who wanted to kill the enemy but was unable to participate in the battle;

Moreover, if the old triangle area does not develop, it will be a tragedy that it will be swallowed up.

Pu Xiazi is invading step by step, for the sake of the people and the nation, but at the same time he is hurting our people and land. So who is right and who is wrong?

After Qin Yu sat in the Sichuan Mansion, he looked back and saw the tragedy of Uncle Liu Zi's tragic death, the regret that Guan Qi could not look back, the pain of Yaoguang and Tiancheng leaving one by one, and the bones under his throne...

At this moment, under the power, it was no longer the pleasure of controlling the wind and rain, but the responsibility that Qin Yu said to Coco while walking slowly on the streets of Chongdu.

With the four million words written so far, I am very satisfied with most of the implicit emotional expressions. I don’t want to go against the rules of the market and write a book that makes people feel uncomfortable at first glance, because that may not be true. I want everyone to be refreshed and happy, but also have a little bit of emotional fluctuations, and see something worth reflecting on.

I really want to break through myself, and I don’t want to stay within my comfort zone and continue to write the same routines that everyone just sees as a habit.

But after the book entered the later stage, I also discovered that some of our readers are really very fragile. They want to see the real thing, but in fact they dare not face the real plot.

The recent plot has reached the emotional line between Coco and Qin Yu. Many people are posting crazy posts in the book review area, either claiming that Coco is dead and not reading it, or claiming that Lin Nianlei will not read it if she accepts Coco, etc... …

And I want to say, do you want me to write a novel that purely satisfies everyone's psychology, or do you want me to write a novel that can resonate and cause emotional fluctuations?

When I was writing the first few books, I didn’t describe many of the heroines in detail after they left the protagonist’s side. When the book was finished, a large group of readers were asking, why didn't they write their endings, why didn't they express it clearly, why did you end it? For example, Fang Mulan in "The Hidden Dragon".

I want to say, how can I express it clearly? The reality I want to write about is bloody, can you really accept it?

What ending can these heroines have? If she leaves the protagonist, will she not live the rest of her life?

What is reality? The reality is that they get married, choose a new life partner, and gradually forget the past...otherwise, what else can they do?

But could I write about this in a book? If I write it, how many people will not be able to accept it?

I sincerely tell you that I am indeed an emotional author, and I often read book reviews and read readers’ discussions and feedback, so when I see some very extreme or brainless comments, I will be affected to some extent.

The recent plot has made me very entangled and irritable, and I still have no inspiration for writing. In addition, the plot of Jiujiang and Yandao Equity has ended, and the next part will officially enter the later stage of the book. I need to adjust my state and re-imagine the next plot.

Take two days off.

During the serialization period, I never took two days off. Please give me some free time to complete this plot.

There will be no updates tonight or all day tomorrow.

I originally planned to update five chapters tonight and three chapters tomorrow, so I owe a total of eight chapters.

Updates will resume on Wednesday, and eight chapters will be completed within this week.

Thank you everyone, don’t rush me, give me some time to deal with the plot.

It won’t change in the general direction of the plot, that’s it.
