Cthulhu Corrosion: Another World Rescue Plan

Chapter 14 The Beast of R'lyeh (Part 2)

"It can't fly! Keep increasing the firepower!" The players were in high spirits and full of fighting enthusiasm. Even if another wave of players were sent back home by the R'lyeh beast, it could not dampen their enthusiasm at all.

Beheading is just a scar as big as a bowl, not to mention there is no death penalty. Climbing up from the resurrection point is a hero again, but it just takes a little more running to return to the battlefield.

The mages placed [Void Swamp] one by one under the feet of the R'lyeh beast. Although the swamp cannot swallow the R'lyeh beast due to the level difference, it can make it slow to move and unable to lift its claws, and even absorb the poisonous mud on the ground and convert it into blue bars.

[Blizzard] froze the lower body of the R'lyeh beast, [Tornado] and [Water Spout] attacked the beast one after another, making it shaky and difficult to keep balance. Finally, the frozen lizard claw could not bear its own weight, and as the huge body of the R'lyeh beast fell to the ground, its lizard claw was also broken.

The health bar of the R'lyeh monster dropped to the last one-third, and the players who died before rushed back again.

"Wow, only one-third is left!"

"Go, kill it while it's sick!"

The druid's vines formed a huge net on the huge body of the R'lyeh monster, preventing it from getting up easily. The monster couldn't move and fell into a state of being suppressed and beaten by the players, and its health bar began to drop rapidly.

The various skill special effects on the field were almost blinding, and the players were fighting hard, hoping to send this boss away completely in one wave.

If the R'lyeh monster hadn't landed head-on, leaving the players unable to perform, it is estimated that a group of players would have gone to dig the core of the illusion now.

However, it was impossible to finish the fight directly. The tentacles of the R'lyeh beast extended out, replacing the legs and feet to support the body and exerting force secretly. The muscles on its scaly body bulged, and the scales opened and closed, bursting out with powerful force, breaking the giant vine net on its body in one fell swoop, sweeping down all the contracted monsters and players crawling on it.

Its huge mouth opened, blowing out a tornado hurricane from it. The hurricane, as strong as an air cannon, cleared a whole space on the field, and countless players were directly knocked into the seabed.

"Don't panic! The last four points of the health bar! The knight stabilizes the hatred! Turn around!" The body of the beast slowly turned, and the fluctuating hatred was once again stabilized on the t. Other players recovered their mana and replenished their blood, seizing every minute and every second to adjust their status.

"Report! The shadow of the city of R'lyeh in the north of the town is gradually solidifying. We don't have much time left! Be careful of the giant beast's violent attack!"

The more you get to this point, the more careful you have to be. Players have used their own special attacks.

In order to add paralysis effects and continuous dot damage, the magicians uniformly cast thunderstorms, and one voice shouted particularly loudly: "Left Zero Right Fire, Thunder God help me!"

Countless thunderbolts gathered into a giant lightning column, like the nine-day black thunder, striking the wet R'lyeh giant covered in mud and mucus. The vein-like lightning pattern spread from its head to its feet. In that short second, the R'lyeh giant almost lit up like a lantern from the inside out, and charcoal-like slag fell from its body, and thick black smoke came out of its open mouth.

But the lightning strike was not enough to kill the giant monster. Its health bar still had the last one-fifth left. While it was still in the paralysis state after the lightning strike, another wave of intensive attacks fell like raindrops.

The knights' [Arc Light Slash], [Starry Sky Shatter], [Revenge], the mages' [Void Fist], [Tornado], [Waterspout], the hunters' [Powerful Shot], [Piercing Shot], [Rain of Arrows] skills, the magic chefs' [Butchering the Ox], [Cut the Head and Tail and Leave the Middle], [Slice], [Deboning], [Hot Fire and Fierce Oil], the druids' vines and monsters...

In this fierce skill storm, the huge R'lyeh monster's health bar continued to drop. Its parts were roasted, torn, and disassembled by the players, and finally it took its last breath when the health bar value returned to zero.

But this is not the end.

After the R'lyeh monster fell on its back, a five-minute countdown prompt bar appeared in front of all players: "The R'lyeh monster's illusion core has not been broken. Players are requested to quickly find the core and destroy it, otherwise the R'lyeh monster will be resurrected in five minutes."

"Fuck! This thing will also be resurrected?!" The players cursed, but their actions were not slow at all.

Holding sharp blades, the magic chef players who should have the most advantages in digging out the illusion core were first sent to the R'lyeh monster's corpse by the druid with vines.

They quickly found the head on the monster's chest, pried open its teeth, and there was indeed a shiny spherical object in its mouth.

"Dig it out or smash it directly?" someone asked.

"There is not much time, try smashing it first?"
