Cosmic Hegemony: I Just Want To Be A Wealthy Tyrant
Chapter 48 Data Emperor
Tang Xiaoyu did not sleep, but logged into the Myriad Worlds forum to browse.
The entire forum is roughly divided into three sections.
One is the daily tasks section, which is the place with the most trolls and is filled with a lot of useless information. Some players were cheated while doing tasks, so they came out and posted a message to complain. Some players kill Monsters and get killed, so they have to come out and complain. Some people simply post false headlines to attract attention and trick people into clicking in. Of course, there are also many players who participate in this game with a pure play mentality. They have become professional travelers, checking in and taking pictures every day, taking pictures of the beautiful scenery and strange creatures in the game and sharing them with those who have never been there. Don't tell me, most sects choose to stay in fairyland with beautiful mountains and clear waters. Even Tang Xiaoyu couldn't help but want to go there. Tang Xiaoyu has been in the Eastern World for half a month. Every day, he lives between the sect square and the alchemy room. Not to mention leaving the sect, he has never even been to the back mountain of the sect. A complete dead house.
The second largest section is the trading section. This is almost a paradise for professionals and businessmen. In this forum, everyone exchanges information and announces acquisitions. In the mall, most of the things for sale are valuable things, and there are many materials that cannot be named, but no one is selling them. And these materials may be what a professional is in urgent need of. Therefore, professionals generally come here to publish acquisition information through sector exchanges. Tang Xiaoyu thought that there were only four professions in the world of cultivation: Alchemist, Talisman Master, Artefact Refining Master, and Formation Master. He has never even heard of other professions such as miner, blacksmith, fisherman, planter, tailor, beast master, insect master, chef, astrologer, puppet master, swordsmith, refiner, breeder, etc. Pass. There are many subdivided professions under these professions, too many to count. Take tailoring as an example. Tang Xiaoyu had always mistakenly believed that all the clothes worn by immortal cultivators were Law Treasure Law Weapon. actually not. Law Treasure and Law Weapon often pursue the ultimate functionality, such as defensive Law Treasure. In order to maximize the defensive properties of the treasure, they usually use solid metal materials or Monster materials. Each of these materials is extremely precious. No one would be so stupid as to sacrifice the original characteristics of materials to pursue the so-called wearing comfort. Of course, there are some exceptions, such as the pupa silk of silkworm monsters or the silk spun by spider monsters. These materials are very suitable for making inner armor for wear. These inner armor are actually not made by Artefact Refiners, but by the tailor profession. For example, the robes of sect disciples are also made by tailors. Of course, the contribution of the formation master is indispensable in this. After all, micro formations such as Bichen and Jueshui are all made by the hands of the formation master.
The third major section is the data strategy section. This is a paradise for data streaming players. Many great masters who are active in the gaming world like to come here to post posts. For example, Li Yuanchao, who was in the limelight a few days ago, compiled his strategy for completing the Spiritual Rice mission, as well as his income data analysis, and posted it to this forum. This post currently has more than 200 million clicks, and most players have seen his post, which is full of praise.
There is a player named "Blooded Blade". His post "About the relationship between Spirit Qi Points, Damage Points, Defense Points and actual damage in the player panel" also attracted special attention from Tang Xiaoyu.
Blood Blade is an ashes player in the Star Guild. Whether it is the earliest Legend or the later World of Warcraft, he has gained a lot of fame. As a technical emperor who loves PK, if you don't understand the damage mechanism in the game, Blood Blade feels that this game will be in vain. In order to understand the relationship between the four data, Blood Blade successively invested several million yuan to purchase various levels of spells. Then with the help of the guild members, he actually got a rough idea of the relationship between the four.
"First of all, everyone is confused by the Damage Points column in the personal panel. Damage Points here simply refers to the player's power damage, and it has nothing to do with spell damage.
If two players fight each other with bare buttocks and bare hands,
Then the damage caused by player A to player B = player A Damage Points - player B Defense Points.
In my opinion, this is almost impossible to happen. Immortal cultivators are not Monsters. Even if they are physical cultivators, they should at least be able to fight with a weapon. I prefer to regard the so-called Damage Points as a parameter of one's own strength.
Then the rest is magic damage.
Here, I take the most common fire bomb technique as an example.
[Fire Bomb Technique] [Yellow Rank Third Grade]
[Consume Spirit Qi to condense a fire bomb in the palm of your hand, causing damage to targets within 20 meters. Each release consumes a minimum of 1000 Spirit Qi Points]
We can see that the introduction of Fire Bomb does not give a clear damage range. In fact, this is more in line with the real world, because the same spell, cast by different people, may have very different effects. Some people are more proficient in spells and can condense more Spirit Qi in fire bombs, so the damage they cause will definitely be higher. Some people are at a higher level. You are Qi Refining and others are Foundation Building. Can the same spell damage be the same? Therefore, it is not surprising that the spell does not give clear damage.
I will use a fixed player as the test target, and the target Defense Points is a fixed 100 points. After many tests, it was found that when the fire bomb proficiency is 1, one thousand Spirit Qi Points can be used to condense a fire bomb attack, and the damage received by the opponent will be 0.
When the proficiency is 1001, you can use 2000 Spirit Qi Points to condense fire bullets to attack, and the damage received by the opponent is 100.
When the proficiency is 10001, you can use 5000 Spirit Qi Points to condense fire bullets to attack, and the damage received is 500 points.
As for the higher proficiency level of Fire Bomb Technique, the proficiency level has not been reached yet, so it cannot be tested. Of course, as the proficiency becomes higher, in addition to consuming more Spirit Qi Points, the release time also becomes shorter. Since it is not the goal of this test, I will not explain more.
The conclusions drawn from multiple tests are as follows:
1. Without Law Weapon protection, final damage = spell damage - Defense Points
2. The conversion rate between Spirit Qi Points consumed by Yellow Rank Third Grade spells and damage is 0.1. In other words, 10 Spirit Qi Points can cause 1 point of damage.
The next thing to test is the Fire Dragon Technique of Profound Rank Third Grade.
Also a fire spell, the Fire Dragon Technique is Rank One higher than the Fire Bullet Technique. The minimum cost of Spirit Qi has also been increased from 1,000 to 10,000.
Since the upper limit of my Spirit Qi Points at that time was 16,000 points, I could only do the preliminary proficiency test.
Still the same target, Defense Points is 100 points. The Fire Dragon Technique of Profound Rank Third Grade, when the proficiency is 1, consumes 10,000 Spirit Qi Points and causes 1,400 points of damage.
The conversion rate of Spirit Qi Points consumed by Profound Rank Third Grade spells to damage is 0.15. In other words, a Profound Rank Third Grade spell can cause 1.5 points of damage for every 10 Spirit Qi Points.
Due to the limited testing conditions in the initial stage of the game, there is no test of wearing protective Law Weapon. Friends who have the conditions can test it alone. As for the same spell, in different realms, consuming the same Spirit Qi Points, will the damage caused by it be different? This will have to wait until the realm is higher before we can continue testing. "
PS: Last night I reached the sixth level of Qi Refining Stage. After testing, at least within the realm of Qi Refining Stage, the impact on damage caused by increasing a small level is negligible. In addition, I will open another post to explain in detail the test of Talisman and Law Weapon. Interested friends can follow me.
After reading Xue Ren's post, Tang Xiaoyu was so impressed by his admiration. Players as serious as him are really rare. Just to get a set of data, they even spent millions of cash! This courage is also worthy of admiration from others. Tang Xiaoyu felt that if he really set up a game company, such players would really be worth wooing him. Thinking of this, Tang Xiaoyu left his phone number in Blood Blade's post and @him, hoping to have the opportunity to get to know him. He has higher-end resources here that can give him a broader gaming platform. After doing this, Tang Xiaoyu continued to browse other technical posts.
