Colonial Suit

#885 - Sacrifice! Race of war!

Behind the heavy assault fleet, rows of warships raised their gun barrels.

From the outside, they looked like corn cobs studded with steel nails, densely packed with gun barrels. These were non-standard warships, simple in design and quick to build. They had no armor, no speed, and no good fire control systems. All they had was firepower!

Their sole purpose was to unleash billions of tons of steel and fire onto the enemy in the shortest time and at the fastest speed before being destroyed.

Burning everything!

Boom boom boom...

Endless artillery fire erupted in an instant, and countless light spots suddenly appeared in the starry sky billions of miles ahead of the fleet. In just a moment, they submerged the Void Aggregate. A large amount of steel and fire impacted the ancient Void Aggregate, causing its surface shields to peel off layer by layer, splashing out a large amount of electromagnetic radiation and sparks.

But it was only being hit incidentally. The real target was the main battlefield ahead.

Including all combat areas of the human heavy assault fleet.

In an instant, terrifying shockwaves swept through the void like blades, shrapnel flew, and flames erupted, engulfing swathes of Cestus people and turning them into piles of black steel. Some of them were huge, some were bizarre, but none could avoid the ocean of steel and fire. They roared angrily, emitting strange electronic sounds. They frantically shuttled around, trying to escape the rain of fire that filled the void. But all of this was meaningless. Entangled by the heavy assault ships, they had no chance of survival. They could only die in anger and pain.

If someone could translate their roars, it would surely be venomous rebukes.

"Why!"

"Why do you even attack and kill your own people!"

"Humans, despicable!"

"No, this isn't called despicable." On the bridge of the mothership, Bass silently watched the roaring Cestus people, his eyes cold and ruthless. He saw it, saw the death of the Cestus people, and also saw the destruction of the heavy assault fleet ahead. The voices of the heavy assault crew members were being broadcast on the channel. But compared to the anger of the Cestus people, those who should have been the angriest were instead shouting with satisfaction and relief.

"Yes, that's it. More, more!"

"I've got them, the Cestus bastards, let's die together!"

"Good, hold the course, aim for the biggest guy, and ram it!!"

"The firepower fleet will avenge us!"

The channel was filled with the roars of the clone crew members. Bass lowered his head and continued to say, word by word. "This is called sacrifice... You alien races will never... understand."

"Order! Extend the barrage. The firepower fleet must fire all its ammunition reserves within the next thirty minutes."

"Battleship fleet, prepare to advance immediately after the fire preparation is complete. The firepower fleet will cover them. Disperse the enemy's attack targets."

"Mothership, release fighters and small fleets, prepare for the third wave of attack. Engineering ships, prepare to establish an orbital bridge as soon as possible."

"Execute immediately!"

"Yes!" The clone captain replied loudly, and then coldly conveyed the order.

Everyone present knew that with this series of orders, the entire fleet would become a complete war machine, throwing all its power into the fray without emotion. There would be greater sacrifices and more deaths in the process, but no one would hesitate. Because this was the human mode of warfare.

Using sacrifice to exchange for victory. Using blood to exchange for glory.

Humans have never claimed to be a fighting race, because they are not, they never have been. But if a civilization from the Great Chaos era were to give them a fair evaluation, perhaps they could earn another title.

War race!

Rumble...

The battlefield was ablaze with fire, with explosions and spreading shockwaves everywhere. A group of huge warships surged out from the human lines, like ancient, towering giants, pushing aside layers of ruins with their heavy bodies.

Those were human battleships, the true main force ships.

They had the thickest armor, the strongest firepower, the most advanced fire control systems, and the most important mission. That was to insert themselves through the passage rammed open by the heavy assault ships and separate the Cestus people from their Void Aggregate, to prepare for the establishment of the human orbital bridge. Once the orbital bridge was completed, the human mothership's fighters could directly enter the Void Aggregate, shield the sub-rules it had established, and cause fatal damage to the Void Aggregate.

The Cestus people seemed to know the power of this move, and resisted even more fiercely.

From within the incomparably huge Void Aggregate, more Cestus people were flying out almost every second. They frantically surged towards the fleet, firing beams of light from various weapons. Many heavy assault ships and firepower ships had their armor pierced by these beams, causing chain reactions from the bow to the stern. The human heavy assault fleet and heavy firepower ships also bit them tightly, turning them into burning piles of steel.

The battle situation instantly became extremely fierce.

Suddenly, the planetary-sized armed fortresses above the Void Aggregate sank down and launched an attack on the heavy firepower fleet that had just fired a batch of artillery.

Countless beams of light descended from 'heaven', covering the heavy firepower fleet like a storm, and nearly a thousand warships were vaporized and disappeared in an instant. A blank space suddenly appeared in the human lines. Under such intensive strikes, even the human battleship fleet was not spared. More than thirty huge battleships were penetrated from top to bottom and exploded from within.

What strong attack power!!

Everyone who saw this scene couldn't help but twitch their eyes, but before their surprise could pass, a woman in a white combat suit behind Bass pushed up her glasses and suddenly said gloomily.

"Spitting at the sky will only dirty yourself."

"Your power will become your evidence in court."

"Today's multiplier is seven. You will suffer seven times the feedback, until death."

"Because this is dark justice."

Whoosh...

The void in the front battlefield suddenly twisted, and then an amazing thing happened. All the beams of light shot by those huge fortresses turned by themselves, reflecting back to their origin as if they had life. In an instant, the light was dazzling, and those huge fortresses were filled with dense clusters of explosions.

Its huge shield only swayed a few times before collapsing, and then it began to explode from the inside, with dazzling firelight bursting out from every crack. Visibly, these planetary-sized objects began to tilt and collapse little by little.

"Good opportunity!"

Bass's eyes lit up, and he waved his cloak!

"Battleships, advance at full speed, mothership fleet, follow in sync! Establish the orbital bridge immediately!"

"Prepare the doomsday weapon, and destroy the enemy's void shield immediately after the orbital bridge is established!"

After saying these words, Bass suddenly turned his head and showed a hideous smile to all the leaders. "Now it's our turn!"

"Set off!!"

"Take back our kingdom!!!"(To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation..)
