Colonial Suit

#821 - When falsehood meets truth

First, the Blood Pupil's head, then neck, upper body...

Small crystals appeared on the surface of Blood Pupil's body, then spread like frost. There was no sound in the void, but everyone who saw this scene heard cracking sounds in their minds. The crystals grew like clusters, one after another, as if Blood Pupil's body was the soil.

Blood Pupil's body trembled, his hands tightly gripping the Forerunner's arm, as if struggling and resisting.

But all of this was meaningless. The Forerunner grinned hideously, the crystal mountain behind her becoming brighter and hotter. Violent energy surged like a tide, gradually suppressing Blood Pupil's resistance. The battle of power between the Planetary and Stellar levels ended with Blood Pupil's defeat.

But this was just the beginning. As the Forerunner continued to penetrate, Blood Pupil's body seemed to begin to crystallize from the inside. Visibly, his body gradually stiffened, and his eyes gradually lost their luster.

A minute later, a humanoid crystal appeared in everyone's sight.

He still maintained a resisting posture, his hands firmly gripping the Forerunner's arm. But all his aura was lost, without vitality, without energy, like an eternally frozen statue.

"Hehe..."

The Forerunner grinned, releasing Blood Pupil. Her eyes still held cruelty and coldness, but also undisguised joy.

"Dead..."

"Haha..."

"Turned into a statue..."

"Haha, hahaha, hahahaha..."

She suddenly burst into laughter, her whole body trembling uncontrollably. While laughing wildly, she screamed at Blood Pupil, "You stupid ant! Did you think you could stop me? Daring to destroy my ship with just a small Planetary level. Regretting it now? Suffering?"

"But... it's all too late..."

"What a beautiful statue, you have enriched my collection again. I can imagine the regret and sorrow in your heart. But this is all your own doing. Don't worry, your value has not been lost. I will take you back to the home planet and exhibit you as my most outstanding exhibit. That will be the time when you can best发挥价值 (maximize your value)."

The Forerunner said with a smile, a cruel glint flashing in her eyes. She then looked into the distance. "Your companions, I will let them join you as well, you won't have to wait too long..."

Saying that, her figure became somewhat illusory as she was about to chase after Robbie and the Gemini siblings.

But just as she moved, she suddenly trembled, unable to teleport away. The Forerunner was shocked and quickly looked down, only to find that Blood Pupil's right hand had once again grabbed her arm, firmly fixing her in place.

The Forerunner's face twisted, and she shouted uncontrollably, "Do you still want to struggle? But what's the use of it? You've already been crystallized by me, your internal organs, even your bones will become crystals. You can only hold on for a while longer with your Planetary-level vitality, but how long can you last?!"

"Without power, you are just a statue, how can you stop me?"

The Forerunner said angrily, reaching out to break Blood Pupil's arm. Originally, she didn't want to hurt Blood Pupil because she wanted to preserve the trophy, but now she couldn't care less. She vaguely felt that the subordinates she sent out earlier had encountered danger. So she gritted her teeth and was about to completely shatter Blood Pupil.

But she never expected that just as she reached for Blood Pupil, a cold psychic wave flooded her like a tide.

In the psychic wave, Blood Pupil's cold voice flowed.

"Is this all... your power?"

What!?

The Forerunner paled in horror. But before she could react, she heard a deafening bang. The crystals outside Blood Pupil's body shattered, scattering like shrapnel. In the fragments, the Forerunner's body was hit with sparks everywhere. But she didn't care about these at all, her eyes widening.

Because she clearly saw that a figure she had thought was completely defeated was standing in front of her again, grabbing her neck.

In the Forerunner's terrified pupils, Blood Pupil's cold reflection was clearly visible.

He strangled the Forerunner's neck, saying each word slowly, "I thought... you would be a worthy opponent. So I wanted to experience your power."

"But... you are too weak..."

"Your power can't even hurt my body. Simple crystallization rules can only affect my skin."

"I don't know where you got such confidence. But you have bored me."

"Let's end this. You are a priest after all, not a warrior."

"What!? You... you dare to humiliate me!?" The Forerunner's face twisted, just about to express her anger, when she saw Blood Pupil suddenly lift her up and kick her in the stomach.

With a muffled bang, the entire space seemed to vibrate. The Forerunner's abdomen exploded with fragments, and she flew out like a cannonball. Because Blood Pupil was still strangling her neck, this kick almost tore her head from her neck cavity.

The Forerunner only felt a darkness before her eyes, and the intense pain went straight into her spine, making her want to scream.

At the same time, Blood Pupil's figure disappeared with a whoosh, reappearing below her. He kicked her neck again.

Warhammer!

Meteor!

With a rotation of his body, Blood Pupil's other leg accurately landed on the same spot.

Double Meteor!!

With a cracking sound, a visible dent appeared on the Forerunner's neck, which was broken by Blood Pupil's two kicks! Before she could scream, Blood Pupil grabbed the back of her head, then kneed her seventh vertebra. With a crisp cracking sound, the crystal mountain fragments on the Forerunner's back shot out, revealing a huge pit. Her body folded backwards, like a pregnant woman with a big belly, as Blood Pupil slammed her into the air.

But what terrified her was that Blood Pupil's right hand remained stable in such a violent attack, grabbing the back of her head like a rock, while his left hand was raised.

"Force field, condense, wall!"

Silently, a huge plane appeared above the Forerunner. Then Blood Pupil grabbed the Forerunner's head and slammed it hard against the plane.

With a bang, the Forerunner felt as if she was being crushed between two terrifying forces, her face smashed to pieces, and a large number of crystal fragments and energy conduits peeled off sparsely, making her feel like she was in a nightmare. She screamed uncontrollably.

"You can't kill me! I am the ubiquitous Forerunner, as long as there is energy flowing, I will not die, flash..."

"Interference!"

A cold shout interrupted the Forerunner's words. At the same time, the energy flow around her stagnated for a moment, actually missing her long-planned teleportation.

The Forerunner was stunned, with an incredulous look in her eyes.

But she had no time to think anymore. Blood Pupil's figure had reappeared behind her, and another punch plunged into the large hole in her back that had been opened earlier.

Fist force...

Penetrate!!!

With a bang, fragments shot out from the Forerunner's chest, and Blood Pupil's fist came out...(To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to vote for recommendations and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation..)
