Colonial Suit

#774 - Scary woman

The sky was ablaze, and countless attack shuttles descended from above, unleashing terrifying beams and a storm of bullets.

Mutants disintegrated and died in the beams, only to be replaced by more mutants rushing to meet the threat. Faced with this sudden enemy, the mutants had become unexpectedly united. Regardless of whether they belonged to the Sarek or Murdoch factions, all the enhanced warriors abruptly changed their attack direction and engaged these attack shuttles.

Unfortunately, compared to the mature and powerful Death Mercenaries, the mutants' enhanced warriors still seemed somewhat immature and rough.

Bang!

A burst of flesh exploded before his eyes, and Sarek indifferently discarded the severed limb in his hand. His fortress-like armor was now covered with fragments of Death Mercenary corpses, blood and tendons flowing through the gaps between the spikes, transforming him into a grotesque blood giant.

Sarek had lost count of how many Death Mercenaries he had killed. But he could feel his stamina beginning to wane. His body was no longer as agile as it had been at the start.

Death Mercenaries were anything but ordinary.

This most bizarre organization in the universe, although also bearing the name of mercenary, was completely different from Universe Mercenaries and Star Pirates. Universe Mercenaries and Star Pirates, whether righteous or evil, were mainly composed of humans. Therefore, on the premise of civilization, they often cooperated, allowing human society to gradually enter a higher level of the universe.

But Death Mercenaries were another matter entirely. Humans occupied a small share of this strange organization, with the majority being composed of alien creatures such as 'Sand Borers,' 'Rennlaks,' 'Shadow Specters,' and 'Gray Titans.' Their behavior was also both righteous and evil, completely lacking the general concept of a system. For Death Mercenaries, the universe was a large hunting ground. They played the role of hunters. Whether it was humans or various advanced civilizations, they treated them all the same.

This was a common ailment of multi-racial aggregates, and also one of the reasons why they had not yet developed into a top-tier force.

They were a bunch of 'vultures,' chasing the flavor of corpses in the jungle of the universe. Petty and profit-driven above all else.

No one liked them, including the Universe Mercenaries themselves.

However, this did not mean they were weak. In fact, in the current universe, although Death Mercenaries were not as strong as Universe Mercenaries and Star Pirates, they were not much different in terms of individual combat power. This invasion had already caused Sarek a great loss.

In just over ten minutes of fighting, although Sarek had killed many people, he was also covered in wounds. On his heavy alloy armor, besides the flesh and blood of the enemy, there were also deep cracks that penetrated to the bone. Many of these were ten centimeters wide, and his internal organs and machinery could be clearly seen.

Biological tissue moved within his body, repairing it. Sarek felt the loss of power.

He was tired.

Although he had reached the initial stage of the Planetary level after being reborn in the blood pool from the relic incident, that was only power. His level and rank of life, understanding and utilization of the rules were far inferior. Therefore, his power was mainly manifested in his physical body. Continuous battles had already greatly depleted his physical strength and caused serious injuries.

Because his main opponents were Meteor-class, or even Planetary-class, powerhouses.

Strangely enough, he didn't know what the Death Mercenaries had eaten, but the strength of this invasion was astonishing. He had encountered dozens of Comet-class warriors alone, not to mention the Meteor-class ones mixed in. To struggle for survival in the face of such terrifying enemies, Sarek had already prepared himself to die in battle.

"Get lost!"

Another enemy stood in Sarek's way, and he unhesitatingly threw a punch, the terrifying power causing changes in the air, as if the air within hundreds of meters had been evacuated. The enemy seemed to be frightened, and actually allowed Sarek's punch to penetrate his chest.

But at this moment, Sarek felt a trace of something wrong, and at the same time, his chest hurt, and a huge cavity appeared there as well. Fragments of armor shot out, and his flesh and bones burst out from his chest.

"You!?"

Sarek couldn't help but widen his eyes, looking at the enemy opposite him in disbelief.

It was a shaking, wriggling black shadow. It felt like a shadow under the sunlight, full of weirdness and mystery.

But this was not the most important thing. The most important thing was that Sarek guaranteed that the other party had not made a counterattack just now.

So how was he injured? And why couldn't he pull his fist back?

Surprised, Sarek looked more closely and found that at some point, the other party's chest had begun to wriggle, and countless black substances, like clay, had climbed onto his arm, dragging his fist into his body. At the same time, Sarek felt as if his fist had entered a cosmic vortex, constantly being squeezed and crushed.

Danger!

In just an instant, Sarek felt a creepy feeling. He tried his best to pull back.

There was only a piercing metallic sound. A large piece of silver light burst out in front of his eyes, and at the same time, his right hand felt light. A sharp pain came from his elbow.

His right arm had been severed from the elbow, and blood and tendon fragments flew across the severed area.

In just one encounter, Sarek was injured.

Seriously injured!

Feeling the sharp pain in the severed area and his chest, Sarek was still like an eternally unchanging statue. Under the steel mask, his eyes flashed.

"Who are you?"

"Hehe... you can call me Mirror Specter." The black shadow wriggled again, quickly condensing into a beautiful human form.

It was actually a woman with full breasts and a翘翘臀. A waterfall of black hair spread out, like a deep pool of water. She sat in this pool, shamelessly exposing her proud figure to Sarek.

"How was the taste of your full-strength strike?" Mirror Specter raised her chin and actually spat out a finger.

That finger was actually Sarek's, but he didn't know why it was spat out from her red lips.

"It's been a long time since I've tasted such vibrant flesh and blood. Well, although the metal fragments mixed in are a bit unpleasant, it's not bad overall. Let me introduce myself, my name is Mirror Specter, and I'm a member of the Shadow Specter clan. I'm here this time to take your life." The enchanting woman shook a finger and smiled. "Don't resist, disobedient children are naughty."

"Shadow Specter clan?" Sarek's voice was like rusty iron rubbing together, extremely unpleasant.

"Planetary level?"

"What exactly do you want, sending out such a large force?"

"Of course, a new slave. And a slave with a good background." Mirror Specter smiled enchantingly. Then she pointed below.

Sarek followed the direction of her finger and immediately saw a girl.

A girl with a head of red hair, flying over with excitement.
