Colonial Suit
#771 - You are useless
Clapping sounded in the distance. Meria turned her head and saw a gaunt but handsome figure.
He was leaning against one side of the cave entrance, wearing a tattered combat suit, with countless wounds on his body. Fresh blood flowed from his body, staining a large patch of the ground red.
Yet even so, he still had a charming smile on his face, gently clapping his hands.
"Well said. I really didn't expect that the beautiful Miss Meria would have such ambitions."
"Lord Murdoch!?" Meria's face turned pale in an instant. Their previous conversation had been a secret between the sisters, so they were extremely unrestrained. She hadn't expected Murdoch to hear it. Just thinking about how terrifying he was, Meria felt a chill rise from the bottom of her heart, and even her bones felt cold.
"You… did you hear everything just now?"
"Oh, I only heard a little bit, really, just a little bit." Murdoch said with a smile, holding up two fingers to indicate that he really hadn't heard too much.
"However, that little bit is enough. It has allowed me to understand Miss Avril's innocence and Miss Meria's courage. Hmm, I'm very satisfied. To be honest, I like people with ambition, because only ambition can stimulate power. Without ambition, one is too pitiful. Our Empress must use strength and will to unify this country. In this regard, Miss Meria is obviously much more suitable than Miss Avril."
"Really?" Meria's eyes lit up instantly and she couldn't help but walk out of the blood pool.
At this moment, she was stark naked, her fiery figure exposed to Murdoch's gaze. Coupled with her emotional excitement, every step she took made her chest surge. It was an unspeakable temptation.
Murdoch was not polite and brazenly scanned Meria's body for a while before smiling slightly. "Of course, I like people with ambition."
"But… respected, lovely, beautiful Miss Meria, aren't you a little too stupid?"
"Uh?" Meria was stunned, not expecting Murdoch to suddenly change the subject. A sense of fear rose in her heart, and her face turned pale instantly.
"What do you mean?"
"What I mean is…" Murdoch smiled and stepped forward, walking towards Meria little by little, then reached out his right hand and slid it into Meria's fiery red hair. His fingers ran through Meria's hair, feeling the smoothness at his fingertips. He couldn't help but squint his eyes slightly.
Meria's body trembled, and tiny, almost imperceptible bumps appeared on her skin. Her breasts were even more erect and hard.
"What I mean is, even Miss Avril knows that there will only ever be one Empress. Why is a girl as beautiful as you still foolishly thinking you can gain the power of the kingdom?"
"Could it be that all your wisdom has grown into your chest?"
*Slap*, a slap landed on Meria's face, sending her flying.
Only then did Murdoch take out a square scarf from his body and wipe his hands, saying playfully, "It seems you still haven't understood what we mean. There will only ever be one Empress, not a matter of quantity, but a definition! The Mutant Empress will always have only one name, and that is Her Majesty Lilith. No one, no force, should ever try to seize Her Majesty's throne."
"So what if we are constrained by the glands? So what if we have to choose a new Empress?"
"As long as the newly elected Empress is obedient. I can't resist the rules, but I can find someone who meets the rules."
"You!?" Meria covered her face and lay on the ground, hardly daring to believe everything she was hearing.
Could it be that they were all lying to her?
Could it be that what they needed was not a new Empress, but just a puppet?
Then what was the point of everything she had given for this?
What was her ambition worth?
"It's just a farce. We, Sarek and I, are both looking for stepping stones for Her Majesty's return." Murdoch's face paled, and a trace of blood suddenly flowed from the corner of his mouth. Only then did he reveal a wry smile, shaking his head and saying, "It's just that Sarek and my ideas have clashed again. He hopes to cultivate someone close to Her Majesty, while I prefer control."
"So he chose Miss Sarah, and I chose you."
"It's a pity that you disappointed me too much. It's good to have ambition, but if you can't even control your own ambition and foolishly expose it, what qualifications do you have to ascend to that glorious throne? In comparison, Miss Avril is much smarter. At least she knows what it means to be patient, what it means to be silent, and to choose acceptance when there is no resistance."
"I can too!" Meria suddenly shouted. "I can too!"
"Isn't it just silence? Isn't it just acceptance? I can do it too, a puppet, a doll, I can definitely do it well! Don't give up on me… don't…"
Because of excessive fear, Meria's body turned a faint pink, and her voice was somewhat hysterical. She struggled to get up and approached Murdoch little by little, until she hugged Murdoch's calf.
"I can do it," she said tremblingly, her full breasts flattened between her body and Murdoch's calf.
"I can definitely do it…"
Unfortunately, the only thing she could get in return was Murdoch's rejection. "Beautiful Miss Meria, please forgive my rudeness, I didn't really mean to discourage you. It's just that I don't have much of a choice at this time."
"Why!?" Meria suddenly raised her head, her eyes flashing with ambition and desire. "Why!? Hasn't your throne been opened yet? Or have you changed your mind?"
"Of course not," Murdoch replied, then squatted down, revealing a trace of pitying smile. "It's just because I failed."
"Failed!?" Meria was a little dazed, seemingly not yet realizing the meaning of Murdoch's words.
"Yes, I failed. The war outside…" Murdoch smiled and pointed to the top of his head. "That guy Sarek is more powerful than I imagined. Maybe I really angered him this time, so I was beaten very badly. Now the surface cities have basically fallen, and his Stronghold troops are sweeping everything."
"I believe he will soon find this place and kill everyone who stands in his way."
"But, can't you stop him? Aren't you just as powerful as him? Isn't your Blood Dominion and his Iron Throne…"
"It's just barely comparable. But to be serious, I can't beat him." Murdoch chuckled, then stood up and stretched. "This is good too, I'm tired. The days without Her Majesty are really hard. Anyway, I was awakened from my sleep by Her Majesty, so I might as well continue to sleep."
"I will wait here for Sarek to have our final battle."
Murdoch said with a smile, and then he was about to turn around…
But no one expected that just as he was about to turn around, he suddenly heard Meria at his feet say faintly.
"In that case, does that mean you are useless too?"
Hmm? Murdoch was shocked, and suddenly felt a numbness in his leg. (To be continued. If you like this work, you are welcome to subscribe and reward at (this site). Your support is my greatest motivation.)0
