Colonial Suit
#700 - conflict
This was the first time Blood瞳 had seen a Gustas person.
The Gustas warriors had a somewhat unique form. They didn't exist purely as matter. In other words, at least half of their bodies were manifested as energy. So, in appearance, they resembled countless tiny crystals connected as a whole by lightning-like free-flowing energy. All their joints had no physical contact, linked entirely by lightning and exotic energy, thus eliminating the movement restrictions of ordinary humans.
Seeing them, Blood瞳 finally understood what was meant by semi-void creatures.
The so-called void must refer to their energy component. Extending this thought, Blood瞳 couldn't help but wonder if there were completely void creatures.
“Hey, you! Move aside!”
A rough voice interrupted Blood瞳's thoughts. Blood瞳 looked up at the Gustas warrior. He was exceptionally burly, his exposed crystalline skin covered in tiny cracks, with faint lightning-like energy flickering within. A suit of armor composed entirely of a blue light screen adorned his body, seemingly as light as nothing.
This armor was special because the light screen forming it was very condensed and rarely overflowed. So, to the naked eye, it looked almost like a solid object. But light was light, so Blood瞳 could clearly distinguish it.
This was the Gustas's magic armor, right?
Blood瞳 thought silently as he stepped off the ramp.
His current identity was that of a temporary guest elder of the Red Glow Merchant Association, so he couldn't act as freely as he did when he was a mercenary. Moreover, his face and body had been specially altered, even his biometrics and genetic code had been forged. Unless a stellar-level expert or higher conducted a specialized examination, there was no risk of being discovered. What? You ask me why even the genetic code could be forged? Don't you think it's too easy for Krodir people to do these things?
Soon, everyone was herded off the crystal shuttle, and Blood瞳 stood against the wall. The Gustas warrior's expression improved slightly, and he said in a low voice.
“People from the Red Glow Merchant Association? Two hours and twenty-one minutes ago, we received a notice that the Red Glow Merchant Association attempted to steal a micro-jump component of an antimatter torpedo from the Termitan planet's void laboratory in the middle ring. This is an act of espionage. Although we received an emergency explanation from your higher-ups, we still need to inspect all Red Glow Merchant Association operational units.”
Saying that, he pointed at himself. “I am Nals, the security officer here. You can complain, but it will not be accepted. Resistors will be killed on the spot.”
After speaking, he pointed to the crystal shuttle, and a group of Gustas warriors rushed up.
Other Gustas warriors began scanning everyone with a special device.
The device was composed of three small crystals, one as the main body and the other two orbiting around it. It looked like a miniature asteroid belt. The device could emit energy waves of various frequencies to conduct an inside-out examination of each person. In other words, this thing was an integrated security facility with functions such as X-rays, biological quarantine, and energy analysis. The detail was even down to the cellular level.
Undoubtedly, this thing was very advanced, and even the Third World wouldn't see many of them. However, being scanned by it was a very painful experience. After all, this thing was made by silicon-based civilization, and it wouldn't be so considerate of the pain nerves of carbon-based life.
Immediately, several Red Glow Merchant Association crew members were pressed against the wall, screaming like pigs being slaughtered. Their bodies trembled violently, and even their muscles began to squirm uncontrollably. Then their bodies turned red, their blood temperature rose, and their blood vessels bulged, like earthworms crawling on their bodies, unspeakably terrifying.
In a short while, these crew members looked as frightening as cooked shrimp, but the Gustas warriors who were examining them didn't care at all, still rudely pressing them against the wall.
Looking at their painful appearance, Security Officer Nals sneered.
“You humans are truly fragile lives. I'm curious how you entered the Third World and even want to become cosmic nobles? Our newborn larvae are a thousand times stronger than you!”
“Truly foolish ants.”
He sneered disdainfully. But before he could finish speaking, a gust of wind swept past, and a Gustas warrior flew out like a cannonball past his ear, directly crashing into the opposite wall. Visibly, a large pit immediately dented the wall, which was more durable than super-alloy armor. The Gustas warrior was embedded in it in a sorry state. The magic armor composed of light screens was shattered, revealing the cracked skin underneath.
What!?
Nals was immediately shocked and looked sharply at one person in the field.
That person was Blood瞳.
It could be said that the Gustas warrior was unlucky. It would have been fine if he had conducted a normal inspection, but who told him to dislike Blood瞳 and make many small movements while doing it? These small movements were learned from humans and had a strong insulting nature, naturally triggering Blood瞳's rage.
Blood瞳's current identity was that of a guest elder of the Red Glow Merchant Association, a cosmic warrior who had been invited, how could he be compared to ordinary crew members? Immediately, he smashed an elbow back into the Gustas warrior's face, sending him flying…
It should be known that Blood瞳's physical strength alone was comparable to a star. Even if he suppressed his strength, it was still beyond the imagination of ordinary people. This elbow strike almost didn't shatter the warrior, and the magic armor was completely destroyed. And even more terrifying was that Blood瞳's strike directly penetrated the opponent, punching a hole the size of a bowl in his chest. Through the hole, one could even see the wall behind him.
Nals was furious!
He had just been mocking the fragility of humans, and Blood瞳 had almost beaten his subordinate to death. This was like a slap in his face, unspeakably embarrassing. A surge of anger welled up in Nals's heart, and he was about to rush over and show this 'ant' a thing or two.
The newest novel is first published at six nine book bar!
It was a pity that he was fast, but Blood瞳 was even faster!
Almost at the same time as he turned around, Blood瞳's figure had turned into a black light, piercing through the encirclement of numerous Gustas warriors, instantly arriving in front of Nals, grabbing his face and lifting him up.
In terms of stature, Nals was much taller than Blood瞳, but in Blood瞳's hands, he was as light as nothing. At the same time, he clearly felt that the hand gripping his face seemed to have infinite power, and as long as it squeezed, it would crush his head!
“You!?”
Nals was shocked and angry, unable to imagine that this human would be so bold, not only daring to resist but also daring to attack him, the security officer of this military base! Did he not want to live? Did he not know that such behavior was enough for Gustas warriors to turn him into cosmic particles?
But at this time, he couldn't say anything. Through the gaps between Blood瞳's fingers, he clearly saw a cold gaze emanating from Blood瞳's eyes. The meaning of that gaze was…
Resist…
