Colonial Suit

#356 - relatively

“You know her?”

The door opened silently. Blood Eye walked in.

Hark rubbed his temples and gave a wry smile.

“Do you ever knock before entering someone's room?”

“I did knock,” Blood Eye replied calmly. “But you didn't hear it. I was wondering why you were like this.” Hark shrugged. He didn't answer Blood Eye's question, but instead picked up the bottle of wine on the table, poured a glass, and pushed it towards him. “Care for a drink?”

“Thanks.” Blood Eye didn't stand on ceremony. He sat down opposite Hark. Seeing his calm expression, Hark smiled before speaking.

“I know what you want to ask. That's right, I wasn't aware of your presence just now. Because I was sensing something in the reverse space. It's a technique that only Planet level experts understand. You'll definitely master it in the future.”

“But isn't that very dangerous?” Blood Eye frowned. “Mentally… exploring reverse space? What about normal space…”

“What do you think is dangerous?” Hark's lips curled up slightly, and he said with a smile. “At our stage, we no longer need to constantly be aware of our surroundings. If there's a threat to me, I'll sense it. If there's no threat, why should I bother?”

“Sixth sense?” Blood Eye was taken aback.

“Something like that.” Hark waved his hand. “You didn't come to me to discuss this, did you? If you did, I wouldn't mind letting you understand a little more.” Blood Eye then came back to his senses, picked up his glass, took a light sip, and said softly.

“I came this time just because I was curious about that woman the other day. Do you know her?”

“Chris Weaver?” Hark raised his head and glanced at Blood Eye. “Of course. In fact, there aren't many people in the Fourth World who don't know her. This guy's nickname is 'Hellfire' and she's also one of the Nine Kings Generals of Shattered Star. She's a very formidable Planet level warrior in the Fourth World. I've fought her a few times.”

“Then who won?” Blood Eye pressed.

“What do you think?” Hark didn't answer the question, but instead asked with a smile. After a while, he continued, “Chris Weaver is a typical ability-type warrior, and her abilities happen to be incompatible with mine. So our battles are very dangerous, and neither of us used our full strength. As for the result… she was badly beaten by me.”

“Oh?” Blood Eye was stunned. He asked with some confusion, “If that's the case, why did I see you seeming so wary of her that day?”

“Wary?” Hark was stunned, and then revealed a wry smile. “Yes. You could tell. But this doesn't seem to have anything to do with you.”

“I'm just a little worried.” Blood Eye looked up, and again recalled the scene of being directly suppressed by that woman. An involuntary sense of powerlessness welled up. “She's really strong. And her appearance here… gives me a bad feeling.”

“Heh,” Hark chuckled. After a while, he said, “You… your premonitions are quite accurate. She did come here because of this recent event.

And she's already joined the Seven Mist Group.”

“What!?” Blood Eye was shocked. “How do you know?”

“What did you think I was sensing in reverse space just now?” Hark picked up his glass and drank it in one gulp, then stood up and walked to the window, looking at the blue sky outside. “One of the three Death Stars that the Romick family sent to the Yellow Crystal Domain was just destroyed by her. It was caused by detonating the core energy and pushing it into reverse space. I sensed its destruction, but I couldn't stop it.”

“How is that possible? Death Stars are…” Blood Eye's voice stopped abruptly, and an incredulous look shot out from his eyes. “Are you saying… destroying planets?”

Hark nodded silently.

Blood Eye fell silent.

In fact, at his level today, he was no longer a rookie fresh out of the oven. The more he evolved, the deeper his understanding of power became. But no matter what, the matter of destroying planets was still too shocking for him.

Blood Eye couldn't imagine just how terrifying the power required to destroy a planet was.

A huge planet, enough to support a civilization.

That was simply a nightmare.

And at this moment, there was someone by his side who also possessed the same power.

Looking at Hark's lonely back, Blood Eye suddenly felt that everything had become unreal. Having walked out of the Burn, had he ever imagined that one day he would come into contact with such high-end power, such a superior person? If such a person were in the Seventh World, wouldn't they be a true god? With a wave of their hand, they could destroy a planet, what else couldn't they do? Then what about life? What about those lives living on the planet? If he hadn't walked out of the Burn, then what would he be at this moment?

Just a number? Or a speck of dust? Or nothing at all?

For some reason, at this moment, Blood Eye suddenly felt a palpitation, a fear.

The atmosphere in the room suddenly became oppressive. After a long time, Hark seemed to sense it, and said softly, “Don't worry, I'll take care of this.”

“But since Chris Weaver has appeared here, then the Romick family shouldn't expect to take too many advantages this time. Planet level experts generally don't take action in the Fifth World, but when they do, they must get their due. Even I can't stop this. Unless… you want to see me and her fight to the death here.”

Blood Eye woke up with a start and hurriedly refused.

Just imagining a Planet level deathmatch was terrifying. At that time, not to mention a few planets, even a galaxy or starfield might be affected. The entire Fifth World would inevitably suffer greatly. Although these were nothing to the boundless Fifth World, Blood Eye felt chills down his spine at the thought of those lives being affected.

Unconsciously, he felt fear and disgust for power for the first time.

Gently rubbing his temples, Blood Eye gradually calmed himself down. After a while, he said.

“I'll talk to Carrie about that. So what do you mean?”

“Let's just leave it at that.” Hark looked at the clouds outside the window and sighed softly.

“The Romick family has already gained enough benefits this time. That family head Carrie should also know when to stop. Otherwise, attracting the attention and arbitration of the Fourth World would not be good.”

“Understood.” Blood Eye nodded. “What about the Seven Mist Group?”

“I'll handle it.” Hark raised his head, a confident look flashing in his eyes. He smiled softly.

“Although I don't know why Chris Weaver came here, she obviously has a reason to come. So no matter what, this game will eventually be resolved by me and her. No one can stop her except me.”

Speaking of this, Hark stretched and returned to his lazy posture, smiling. “It's been a long time since I've fought with someone of my kind, I wonder if she's improved recently. Speaking of which, you're lucky. If you hadn't insisted on me helping, I'm afraid you would have tasted the bitterness of mission failure.”

“…” Blood Eye was silent for a while before lowering his head. “Thank you.”

“No need to thank me, consider it a transaction.” Hark waved his hand and said casually.

“I know that you're actually… doing this for Lord Hanser. But why aren't you willing to tell me, what is the relationship between Lord Hanser and you?” Blood Eye suddenly raised his head, a sharp glint flashing in his eyes. “And you said that I am her descendant. Who is she?” Along with this voice, the temperature of the entire room plummeted, and Blood Eye's body exuded a strong killing intent. It was like a wild beast ready to pounce. Of course, this was not intentional, but a subconscious aura brought out by his emotions. So although this aura was dangerous, Hark didn't even frown.

He was still looking at the sky outside the window, seemingly reminiscing about something. After a long time, he sighed.

“There are some things that you can't bear right now. I'm not telling you for your own good.”

“But I don't want to be kept in the dark forever.” Blood Eye replied decisively. His eyes were cold. “I was brought out of the Burn by Lord Hanser, and I have been taken care of by the Lord ever since. But I don't know anything. I can't even avenge the Lord's death! Since you know something, why aren't you willing to tell me?”

Looking at Blood Eye's sharp eyes, Hark fell silent. But in the end, he still shook his head. “It's not time yet, Blood Eye. You're too weak. Too weak to join this game. So… I can't say.”

“But when do you plan to tell me? When I'm dead?” Blood Eye raised his head and said angrily. “Or, do you plan to never let me know?”

“Don't ask anymore.” Hark interrupted Blood Eye. He suddenly became emotionally agitated. “Some things are not as simple as you think. I don't know why you suddenly want to ask these things. But I won't tell you. If you want to know, wait until you reach my level.”

“You…” Blood Eye was momentarily furious, and was about to say something when suddenly a terrifying aura descended upon Serariton.

His voice stopped abruptly, and his face changed slightly.

“This aura…”

“He's here.” Hark was calm. The snow-white shirt fluttered gently in the breeze. “Sure enough, he's as impatient as ever.”

Speaking of this, Hark smiled slightly. Without seeing him do anything, the wall in front of him suddenly turned into dust, revealing a large hole. Immediately afterwards, he took a step and walked out. He said to Blood Eye from afar, “You come too. This is a Planet level battle, it might be beneficial to you.”

“What?” Blood Eye was stunned, and then understood Hark's meaning. He hurriedly followed.

As soon as he walked out of the castle, he felt his body tighten and was wrapped in an invisible force field. He instantly passed through a thin film-like object, and after a flash before his eyes, he directly arrived in the high sky above the floating castle.

In front of him, Hark was already standing still with a smile. He looked at a vortex that quietly appeared.

Chris Weaver's figure was slowly walking out of the vortex…!
