Colonial Suit
#185 - It's you
Two days later, Bloodshot led a hundred of his personal warriors to the Kas tribe.
That day, heavy snow fell, and a gale swept through, carrying goose feather-sized snowflakes that howled and raged, shrouding the entire world in a gray haze. Visibility was extremely low, and it was almost impossible to see anyone beyond fifty meters. However, the temperature was not very low.
In such weather, flying was naturally impossible. To reach the Kas tribe as quickly as possible, Bloodshot and Elder Hans used the ancient passage.
This was a transportation pipeline left behind by the Krodel, capable of delivering people to every part of the Rotuska star extremely quickly. However, it was Bloodshot's first time using it. The feeling of entering the ancient passage was like entering the stomach of a large bug, slippery and very uncomfortable. Moreover, as soon as he entered, a strong odor rushed into Bloodshot's nostrils.
Bloodshot guessed that this was the reason why people fell unconscious after passing through the ancient passage. This odor could paralyze the central nervous system, causing people to lose consciousness in an instant.
However, for him, this odor obviously had no effect. So, after a while, Bloodshot felt a jolt in his body and slid into a strange space.
It was a completely dark space, where nothing could be seen. Bloodshot slid silently in this space under the pull of a mysterious force. After a while, he felt a glimmer of light above him, and then a suction force pulled him out.
Using this suction force, Bloodshot flipped over and rushed out of the ground, landing easily. When he looked around, he found himself in an unfamiliar valley, surrounded by a hard, icy plain. Many passage exits were already opening, and warriors were jumping out of them one by one.
However, this time, they did not fall unconscious as usual. Instead, they jumped out of the passage awake and gathered around Bloodshot as soon as they appeared.
As expected… Seeing this scene, Bloodshot knew that the phenomenon of unconsciousness when using the passage only occurred in ordinary people, while for those who had Krodel biological tissue implanted, it had no effect at all.
Whether it was the core of the colony or the sub-seed he had split to his personal warriors, in a sense, it was equivalent to an identity chip.
The valley was not empty; many guards were already waiting there. They immediately came up to Bloodshot and the others.
One of the men, who was obviously the leader, walked up to Bloodshot and knelt respectfully on one knee.
"Welcome, my lord."
"Get up," Bloodshot said calmly. Then he glanced at the valley in the distance. "Is Elder Kas here?"
"He is still performing the task you assigned," the leader replied. At this moment, Elder Hans also woke up with the help of the personal warriors and hurriedly walked to Bloodshot's side.
"My lord, may I go and contact Elder Kas first?"
"No need," Bloodshot waved his hand, a chilling light flashing in his eyes. He had come to silence them today, not to negotiate. Contact was meaningless; he just needed to confirm the target's existence.
Turning his head, Bloodshot looked at the warriors behind him. "Are you all ready?"
"Ready to serve you at any time, my lord," the warriors behind him answered in unison, their movements synchronized.
Bloodshot nodded in satisfaction. This was the effect of receiving the sub-seed modification. Although these warriors were similar to before on the surface, their spirits and bodies had undergone fundamental changes. Their strength was even comparable to the most basic mercenary vassals. And under Wright's control, they could unleash astonishing combat power.
They were divine warriors, the most coveted identity for all men on Rotuska.
For this, Bloodshot had also paid a huge price, his combat power weakening by as much as twenty percent within a month. And without unit replenishment, he would weaken even more over a longer period.
As he spoke, a strong and tall figure had already arrived at Bloodshot's side, it was Giant King Wright. He knelt on one knee beside Bloodshot and said respectfully.
"Please give me this task, my lord. I will definitely bring those two rebels before you."
Bloodshot glanced at him and nodded lightly. "I want them alive."
"As you wish," Wright replied readily. He then silently walked towards the valley. Behind him, more than seventy personal warriors automatically followed. The whole process was without orders, but all the warriors seemed to know what to do. The remaining thirty personal warriors surrounded Bloodshot, watching the surroundings vigilantly.
Seeing this scene, the leader of the Kas tribe panicked and hurriedly said to Bloodshot. "My lord, the old people and children of our tribe have not yet evacuated, please give us some time!"
"Don't worry," Bloodshot smiled slightly, comforting the leader. "Wright knows what to do. He will not harm the innocent."
"Yes… yes," the leader replied, covered in sweat and uneasily.
Although that was what he said, after the battle a few days ago, everyone knew what a divine war was. That kind of earth-shattering power and fierce fighting could not be controlled at all. Even if they were careful, they might still harm the innocent. The leader was afraid that his tribe would be affected.
In fact, the Kas tribe had developed into a large city-like tribe due to its population and resources. The population density was extremely high. If a battle really started in the tribe, it would be a devastating disaster.
However, the leader did not dare to refute Bloodshot's meaning. He could only agree while looking anxiously in the direction of his tribe, fearing that a terrible scene would suddenly appear there.
But the fact proved that his worries were superfluous. After a while, a few shadows appeared in the raging wind and snow. Wright and the warriors were back. There were two graceful figures in the middle.
"It's you! ?" Bloodshot frowned as soon as he saw the two figures.
He didn't expect that the last two of the Odd Numbers were actually them.
These two were none other than Sylvina and her housekeeper, whom he had seen at the Space Station of the Faraway Corner. How could they be here!?
"Damn it, let go of your stinky hands!! How dare you touch me! I will kill you all!!" Sylvina's screams came from the wind and snow. Obviously, she was unwilling to be caught. But she couldn't resist the violence of the personal warriors.
Damn it, as a Sikelreian noble, when had she ever been treated like this? Just now, she was still revered as a god in that primitive tribe, and in a blink of an eye, she was rushed by these barbaric warriors, who grabbed her and her housekeeper without saying a word. Their attitude was like catching a few chickens. However, Elder Kas, who had been respectful to her just now, didn't even look at her. He also stopped the tribe's guards from acting.
Being held in the hands of these rude warriors, Sylvina's face turned green with hatred, and she struggled desperately. But the housekeeper beside her seemed to have a premonition of something, and instead, she was as calm as if nothing had happened.
Soon, they were brought before Bloodshot. Seeing the familiar faces that suddenly appeared. Sylvina was not surprised at all.
The most ⊥ new ⊥ small ⊥ said ⊥ in ⊥ six ⊥ 9 ⊥⊥ book ⊥⊥ bar ⊥⊥ first ⊥ hair!
"You damn mercenary, are these guys your retainers? How dare you do this to me, treat a Sikelreian noble like this! I order you to let me go immediately, or I will complain to the mercenary headquarters!"
Sylvina threatened Bloodshot fiercely.
Complain!?
For a moment, Bloodshot felt absurd. He looked at the willful girl in front of him, wondering if she didn't understand her situation? But thinking of Elder Kas's忽悠 level, he felt that this was very likely.
A swindler elder who could rule such a large tribe, it would be too easy to deceive these two unfamiliar girls.
"How did you get here?" Bloodshot decided to go straight to the point, too lazy to waste words with this willful girl.
"Pah!" Sylvina spat disdainfully, turning her head proudly.
Looking at her self-righteous appearance, Bloodshot sighed. Without saying a word, one of the personal warriors stepped forward and punched Sylvina in the abdomen.
With the strength of the personal warrior, how could this punch be easy to bear? Even if he controlled his strength, he almost didn't punch through Sylvina's stomach. Sylvina only felt a darkness in front of her eyes and fainted without saying a word.
The personal warrior grabbed a handful of snow from the ground indifferently and threw it directly on Sylvina's face. The cold snow stimulated Sylvina's skin, and she woke up groaning.
"You…" She just said one word, and then vomited painfully.
At this moment, the female housekeeper finally spoke.
She calmly brushed her long hair and said to Bloodshot. "Mr. Bloodshot, let me talk to you. I wonder if you can first ask your retainers not to hurt my master anymore."
"That depends on whether you cooperate," Bloodshot replied without raising his head. Seeming not to care about the violent scene in front of him.
In fact, in the X35 apocalypse where he lived in the past, he had seen too many such scenes. The idea of cherishing jade would never appear in his mind.
Seeing his indifferent appearance, the female housekeeper seemed to know that her request would be difficult to fulfill. A trace of melancholy appeared on her face. After a while, she said in a low voice.
"We used the instrument to track your shuttle here. We didn't intend to be your enemy. But after arriving here, we found that the natives of this planet seemed to be manipulated by some kind of belief, and they regarded us as gods, which led to the idea of controlling this place."
"You… who is included?"
"Mr. Bloodshot, since you have already found this place, do you still want to play dumb with me?" The female housekeeper smiled bitterly. "We… naturally include the Odd Numbers. But if I'm not mistaken, they have already been defeated by you, right? I wonder if you can hand them over to me? I promise to take people away from this planet immediately and never be your enemy again."
"It's too late," Bloodshot sneered. "The only thing you can get is their bodies. And now it's not whether you are enemies with me, but whether I am willing to let you go."
"Actually," Bloodshot looked seriously at the female housekeeper's curvy figure. A trace of murderous intent flashed in his eyes. "I'm more interested in your bodies."
