Moreover, it was a dress personally made by the international top 10 designer . Not only such a youthful and pretty girl like Gu Mengmeng, even an old lady would look beautiful in it.

After earning the praises from all the makeup artists, Gu Mengmeng felt herself gaining much confidence.

She sat on the makeup chair to allow the makeup artists to start doing her makeup and style her hair. Gu Mengmeng did not dare to move too much and seemed exceptionally uncomfortable.

Instead, Snakel seemed much more relaxed. He changed into a khaki suit upstairs, with a white shirt complementing his outfit inside, a sapphire blue cuff matching his sapphire blue tie to match with the accessories Gu Mengmeng was going to put on afterwards.

As Snakel was used to attending such an event, he quickly finished his preparations and sat at the side leisurely, as he watched Gu Mengmeng, who had a expectant yet uneasy look, while the makeup artists attended to her, and he felt that she was too adorable.

Gu Mengmeng could feel two holes almost penetrating through her because of Snakel’s intense stare, so she asked awkwardly, “Didn’t you say all the outfits by the top 10 designers are upstairs? Why did I only see seven of them? Where’s the other three? Did you give it to someone?”

“I threw them away.” Snakel answered simply but Gu Mengmeng almost bit her tongue in hsock because of his response.

Even if she did not know the market price, she knew how expensive the products of such a high grade designer would be. yet this man had just simply told her that he threw them? How much money did he exactly waste?!

“Why?” Gu Mengmeng replied instantly.

Snakel’s face darkened, as though he was still furious at the thought of those three outfits. He harrumphed twice before saying, “The breast and back was revealing, and even the elbows and legs… Did they think anyone could see my woman? Hmph, still the top 10, I think they don’t deserve their reputation, and are just useless.”

Gu Mengmeng understood now. He was criticising others for their revealing designs so he gave them a pass.

Gu Mengmeng smiled without saying anything.

It was indeed not her style to wear revealing clothes. Even if he had asked her to, she would not wear them out.

However…

She felt wronged for the three outfits that were thrown away. The skirt hem was just slightly too short, about five centimeters above the knees, and could not really be considered ‘revealing in the chest, back, arms and legs’…

Snakel took each step closer to Gu Mengmeng and asked her with a frowning face, “Did I make a mistake?”
