constructs are advanced iterations of empty cells and reside in the Divine Gate, and in general, they are much improved and more lethal than their simpler counterparts.
Like empty cells, they possess various geometries made of gold and marble, supported by a vaguely humanoid-like core, they are about 5 meters tall (4 meters of body height and about 0.5 meters of floating distance), and have the ability to fly.
Remarkably, their core is larger, about 14 centimeters, and exposed, suspended by an arch placed on the solid belly, supporting all its additional attachments.
However, they are not as fast as their opponents, but enough to catch up with the invaders.
Unlike void batteries, they are more durable, although even if the core is exposed to external elements, it is almost covered by the energy field to the point of impermeability, which will further improve their durability.
The floating attachment is also durable and can move independently within the free movement range, as it is able to levitate in the air, but has a limited range away from its parent body.
If a building is severely damaged, it will pop out of its core, and then its body will explode in destruction, and it will quickly exit the battle.
Like empty cells, appendages can deform and regenerate when damaged or destroyed, but to a limited extent, unlike their counterparts.
They trade speed for greater durability and power, as their weapons no longer originate from their core, instead they use its appendages to attack their targets with greater firepower and greater destruction.
Just like empty cells, they also have variants with more advanced features and weapons.
They react and manifest only in "coma events" and only through empty cells when the threat is severe.
Display
When all virtual spaces are activated, they are revealed, and they can be upgraded even in conflicts.
The variants of void elements upgraded by cyclic correspond to the variants of the structure, increasing their overall firepower.
Instead of manifesting themselves through multiple cycles, they are instantaneously upgraded depending on the number of empty cells needed.
Much like this phenomenon, when there is no threat to deal with, it retreats them into empty cells until they eventually disappear.
Behave
like empty cells, they are extremely aggressive against any invader.
However, their intelligence improves, they use basic tactics, work in tandem with voids and other buildings to counter threats, and are smart enough to exit the battle when repairs are needed, or ambush enemies when they let their guard down, and so on.
They usually slowly approach the invaders because empty cells constantly attack them as these structures provide offensive or defensive support.
They are often seen using appendages to attack from multiple angles to eliminate multiple threats at once, but they use all their appendages to increase their firepower against a single target when dealing with larger threats.
When they are seriously injured, or as a last resort to dodging a deadly attack, they pop their core, which then flees the conflict at a faster pace, reshaping their bodies.
Creatures
they are mechanical, like a void cell, which consists of a core and a body. The core houses an artificial intelligence that acts as a central network for the functioning of the body.
Because it is suspended by a complex arch that is protected from damage by a powerful energy field, the body is geometric shapes supported by some gold rings that act as a kind of joint for specific parts of the body.
Exactly why or how you need to function for these entities is unknown, especially the "head" above the core.
Presumably, this is just an additional physical auxiliary component, even if it is only composed entirely of marble and gold.
The body can deform and divide, although it is limited, unlike hollow cells.
The "head" may simply be an indicator of an escalating empty cell mutation, when this phenomenon occurs, or it may act as a secondary core when executing complex or certain systems, even if damaging the head does not seem to impair their function, and even when some parts are destroyed, it does not stop it.
If the structure is damaged, it will quickly regenerate through the strange blue light emitted from the core, creating a silhouette that will later re-form the parts of the body that were once damaged or missing.
Once ejected from their bodies, it explodes and anyone within range of the explosion suffers serious injury.
The core of the escape is more vulnerable to any harm.
However, the arms of these entities act as weapons, and these arms vary in number, fly around the parent entity, and allow it to move freely and quickly, allowing attacks from multiple angles when needed, but with a certain limited range from it.
It can be destroyed, weakening their attacks or rendering their weapons completely useless.
Variants
are much like empty cells, they have variants of these entities, with complex functions and behaviors.
These variants only behave as corresponding to specific variants of empty cells that are upgraded during the cycle.
Below is a list of variants:
Cube - A white marble cube for the head and arms.
The cube weapons of these entities stick spikes out of it and then used as a ranged weapon, it fires, allowing it to fire continuously in all directions, which also fires explosive projectiles by charging them in the spikes of the weapon.
Spherical – The white marble ball represents the head and the golden ball represents the arms.
The 6 arms fire a continuous beam of light, cutting and burning anything that touches it.
It fires in a sweeping motion because the arm is placed sideways in a vertical straight line, down and further away, or sometimes it places the arm around the entity and then launches as the arm rotates.
It also merges spheres into large spheres, emitting larger beams of light in one direction.
Rectangular - The black marbled head is rectangular. 4 large rectangular arms of a rapidly firing explosive projectile, sometimes firing projectiles that are chasing the target. Whenever it approaches the target, it hits or crushes it with its arm.
Octahedral - green/black marble diamond.
Use its sharp appendages to morph into a drill to pierce and take out its target, or it can be used to launch and then explode.
Tetrahedron – a peculiar variant, black marbled with a gold pattern and a pyramid on the head.
It dramatically changes the reality in its area, allowing them to gain an advantage and disintegrate the enemy. It has two pyramid-shaped arms and is used as a long-range weapon for self-defense.
Ring - A series of constantly rotating rings.
It releases an energy field to repair any damaged entities in the surrounding area and create a barrier that is impermeable for a period of time. It can also open a crack, revealing cavitated cells on any surface.
Due
to their almost impermeable durability and devastating firepower, it is best not to use them boldly in battle.
Because their appendages can easily destroy large areas, it is best not to interfere with these entities while they destroy other foreign entities, or attack them when they are few in number.
It is recommended to use weapons of a larger caliber, such as 0.50 BMG bullets, aimed directly at their core or some abnormal objects.
These objects are hardly enough to harm the Void units and buildings in some way, and it is unlikely that when they are in groups, it is necessary to stay as far away from them as possible, distracting them if necessary.
If their bodies are destroyed and their core is retreating, attacking them is a priority to ensure they don't repair when they leave the fight.
Additional Notes
Accident Report HG/C1 - March 3, 2012 Some
homeless people witnessed these entities in an empty desert area far from their colony.
They told one of their companions that had accidentally approached the entities just to see what was there, as their companion did provide an open exchange of what was happening.
As they tell that there are some obelisk structures made of marble, it appears to open a "space-like" crack, with marble floors emerging from its surface.
Unfortunately, however, these curious wanderers disintegrated when they were found and chased, and in total 3 people died in this incident, leaving only 2 people hiding behind a boulder and deciding to flee.
Presumably, these entities appeared not only at the Divine Gate, but also outside, not sure what they were doing, as they seemed to be patrolling, showing only more buildings and empty cells.
It seems that this obelisk, when formed, had some benefit for the colonists, as their colony had been destroyed by the invasion of hostile entities and lasted for 3 years until the obelisk structure was formed.
Because it somehow stopped, to this day, no hostile entities have been reported, only empty cells and buildings have appeared near the obelisk structure.
This unusual event requires further investigation and research.
Addendum HG/C1 001
The erection of obelisks far from the colony may have had some purpose, presumably as a means of containment or exclusion, so that no other entity could reach or invade the colonial level.
However, their goals remain uncertain, but assuming that their intentions are at least benign and show concern for the colonizers, they have established here in addition to the hostile obelisk guardians.
Either way, the colony had built a thriving city that was safe for other colonists and wanderers, but for safety reasons, cautioned against approaching the obelisk.
