[It is strongly not recommended to read] the recent water chapter, unless I specifically say that it is related to the plot in the author's statement.

Tomorrow I will revise chapters 224, 225.

............ The dividing line............

Empty

cells describe

empty cells as inanimate objects that exist at the Divine Gate, and they are the common entity facing wanderers.

They look like a floating geometry made of marble and gold, floating more than 150 centimeters above the ground, but they can fly to heights, and they can move teleportably over short distances.

They vary in size, but usually their shells are as large as 40 centimeters, shells as small as 25 centimeters, and the diameter of the nucleus is about 9 centimeters.

These are the physical appearances used to protect their core from damage, the shell is exceptionally durable and can quickly regenerate the missing parts, further increasing their survivability, and their shell can deform and split into multiple similar-shaped pieces.

However, it will open their core when firing.

Their core is believed to be made of gemstones but it clearly shows starlight from it, and despite being made of gemstones, it is also durable, but damaging their core can temporarily damage them.

Their durability is punished a lot before being exposed to the core, and destroying the core will explode after destruction.

Their weapons come from their core, releasing energy projectiles that split upon contact, but doing so opens their shell, exposing their core.

In the entity database, empty cells are the most common and numerous, but they are also the most dangerous entities, they are closely guarded within the layer, only manifesting themselves in response to the phenomenon of "blackout events", acting as the first line of defense.

They also come in variants, and each one boasts the ability to specialize in certain situations in the face of a threat.

Although it

is not clear where these entities come from, they always appear in the first few loops of events throughout the level, potentially giving any intruders a warning.

Here's what the Hollow Cell Synthesis Phase looks like:

The first cycle of the Hollow Cell Manifestation Phase

, which looks like inanimate marble objects scattered throughout the level. Increase the number as events continue to occur.

The second cycle, from the beginning of several cycles that occur, the entity becomes active, albeit inert, which is the first sign of the second stage of the cycle and the manifestation of empty cells.

In the third cycle, empty cells are very active and very aggressive.

Furthermore, if the threat proves to be severe, the loop starts to occur and causes some of these entities to escalate to an advanced iterative composition.

However, if they avoid conflict for a long time, these events will occur unless it slowly returns them to a state of inertia until the last few cycles will finally make these entities disappear and allow them to travel safely.

Behavioral

Void Cells are simple-minded entities that only execute two commands – search for invaders and destroy invaders.

When they move in groups, they usually effectively gather enemies and kill them quickly.

They are extremely aggressive and they do not stop unless they are eliminated or the intruder is killed, but if they are going to avoid them, this will cause them to patrol and search for any intruder until the cycle begins to make them inert and eventually they will disappear.

They often move laterally in unpredictable ways, quickly repositioning, but if they have enough void cells to clump, they usually surround them.

With its brief burst speed, it will surprise intruders and be vulnerable to flank attacks, making them a very dangerous entity.

They will open their shells when firing, exposing their core, and it is useful to take advantage of this behavior, but in the end, it is not ideal when they are numerous, especially if their core is small.

However, these entities behave differently when in some specific place or when there are sublayers of the Holy Gate, some of them are docile and do not provoke when attacked, or in some sublayers they attack them when intruders enter the sublayers.

Organisms

are more precise, void cells are mechanical, although it is uncertain how these entities work, since they are made up of very simple and basic components, such as shells and cores made of marble and gold.

Presumably, these shells may consist of nanotechnology, which allows their shells to morph and self-regenerate, while the core houses a kind of artificial intelligence that also acts as a weapon and brain for the shell.

Their shells can differ in size and shape from each other, but the nucleus will remain as it is except for the color it emits.

Variants

have been documented as more iterations of these entities that function differently when faced with threats and situations.

They have unique appearances, weapons, and features.

This also includes subvariants of specific shapes that further enrich each other's diversity, as follows:

[Cubic]

subvariant

White (last name): They are the most common variants. They fire energy projectiles with bursting flames.

Black: Black marbling with gold vertices and edges. Fire multiple energy projectiles at once.

Green (surname): Green with gold marbling. Launch non-lethal projectiles, causing the target to slowly consume them until they are leveled, essentially slowing and weakening the target.

【Range】

Subvariant

White (surname): White marbling. They open the shell horizontally around the core while firing beams, cleanly cutting anything that touches in a short but steady burst.

Black: Black with dark gray marbling. When they are charged for a while, they split vertically and then release a larger beam at a greater distance, which causes them to retreat and charge again. Destroying the core when releasing the beam can lead to a catastrophic explosion.

Golden: 4 pieces of white marble completely golden, with glowing energy in the middle. The beam is emitted in 4 directions, and then it rotates horizontally or vertically.

【Rectangle】

Subvariant

Black: Black marbled with metallic gold on the edges and apex. It is divided into two cubes and then fires explosive energy projectiles at high speed. It likes to keep a certain distance from battles and enemies.

Blue: White marble with blue and gold marbling. It will fly above the target, which will fire several explosive projectiles, and then retreat in preparation for the next attack.

Green (last name): dark green of green with white and gold marbling. Charge a larger projectile that explodes and disperses into multiple projectiles looking for other targets.

[Octahedron]

subvariant

Grimm (surname): Green green marble with golden fragments at the top, located below and above the apex. It prefers to get close to its victim, and then it spins quickly while releasing a triangular blade that can cut anything if it's close enough.

Red: White marble with a light red marbling. It attacks intruders while glowing intensely, and once they get close enough, it bursts out with energy, causing anyone nearby to be burned. It does not harm the entity itself, but it causes their functionality to be temporarily disabled.

Black: Black marble with gold marbling and gold metal blocks on each vertex. The most aggressive of all variants usually charges at intruders at breakneck speed, after which it unleashes red spikes to deliver a fatal blow to the target.
