“You can see the outside from this room. The scenery is rather nice.”

The man grabbed Lin Ran’s arms and lifted her. Then, he turned her around so she could see what he was talking about.

It was true. From that angle, she could see Lin Nan and Wang Gang who were outside. The two of them were still waiting for her. Of course, they did not know that she had been taken upstairs.

The man tried to tear off her clothes but Li Ran was covering herself with her hands. He felt that she was really troublesome so instead, he just pulled her clothes off.

Only her undergarments were left!

Luckily, Li Ran could still reach her waist bag.

She immediately took out the pistol and shot the man! Her eyes were fierce as she fired a couple more shots!

The sound of the gunshots echoed throughout the room.

As the man collapsed, Li Ran heaved a sigh of relief. She got a better look at the room and noticed that there was a row of wardrobes.

What she discovered stunned her. There was a woman inside each wardrobe. They were all naked and tied up.

When one of the women saw that Li Ran had killed the man, tears began to flow out from her eyes.

Li Ran quickly put on her clothes, opened the door, and walked out.

Lin Hua was long gone. She had tricked Li Ran.

What she did fill Li Ran’s heart with grief and anger. She reminded her of Cui Chong.

‘Why do people return kindness with enmity?’

The gorgeous woman was surprised when she saw Li Ran. She asked, “Has Miss Lin made her decision?”

“Yes, she’ll stay. I’ll be leaving first.”

The gorgeous woman smiled and nodded without saying anything.

Li Ran then signaled Lin Nan that she was ready to go.

Before they could leave, the gorgeous woman suddenly ran towards them and blocked their way.

“Where is Miss Lin?”

“I’m not sure. You can check by yourself.”

Li Ran’s response was very cold. She was completely different from before.

The gorgeous woman stared at Li Ran.

“Okay, I wish you all a safe journey.”

Li Ran and her group left.

Lin Nan noticed that his wife was acting strangely. After they were a distance away, he promptly asked, “What happened? What did she say to you?”

Li Ran closed her eyes. She remembered the women who were still in the wardrobes. Her footsteps began to feel heavy. After thinking for a long time, she decided not to mention anything. Instead, she just squatted on the ground.

Wang Gang could tell that Li Ran was reluctant to talk about it.

“Is it really that luxurious inside? Did you want to stay as well? Actually, we can stay for two days. We can compensate that woman with some food,” said Wang Gang in an effort to lighten up the mood.

When Li Ran heard his words, she did not know whether to laugh or cry.

In the end, she sighed and said, “I killed a man inside. There were three women imprisoned in the wardrobes, but I did not save them.”

“What? Are you saying that Lin Hua set you up?!”

Li Ran stood up and took a deep breath. Then, she smiled sadly and said, “Yes, she was aware of everything. Otherwise, she would not have asked me to enter the villa. Anyway, she wanted to stay there so let her be.”
