American comics: Starting with Luke the Maker

#226 - War of the Realms: Light [Part 2]

The fists moved with such extreme speed that they created afterimages in the air, making the four arms look like ten or dozens, completely enveloping the slender figure of the Queen of Heaven.

Bang bang bang!

The dense, muffled thuds gradually lifted the Queen of Heaven from the ground into the sky, her body like a puppet controlled by some invisible force, constantly trembling under the fists of Light Luke, with shattered flesh occasionally exploding into blood mist in the air.

The barrage of fists continued on the Queen of Heaven for nearly a minute. Throughout the entire process, she seemed to be suspended in mid-air by some force, finally transforming into a cannonball under Light Luke's fists, plowing a nearly hundred-meter-long trench into the ground behind her. The soil kicked up on both sides deeply buried the Queen of Heaven underground.

Everyone who witnessed this shocking and violent scene couldn't help but swallow hard, standing in place, afraid to step forward. Even Malekith and Odin, who were engaged in intense combat nearby, felt a sense of absurdity at this sight.

To be able to beat a powerful figure representing the divine authority of war into a bloody mess with just fists was a bit beyond their imagination.

However, neither Odin nor Malekith was worried about the Queen of Heaven being hammered into the ground. As long as the war wasn't over, as long as she had a breath left, she wouldn't lose her fighting power. Instead, she would continuously increase her strength with the fervor of the war until the current war could satisfy her upper limit of power.

And just as Odin and the others thought, after only a moment, a large bulge appeared in the ground, and then the Queen of Heaven's slender and tall figure, wrapped in powerful energy, exploded out of the ground and returned to the battlefield.

However, compared to her previous neat and composed appearance, she looked somewhat disheveled at the moment. Her well-arranged long hair was scattered in a mess, her skin still appeared somewhat fair due to new growth, and her slender body and limbs now had some streamlined muscles, giving her a sense of lightness and power combined in harmony.

"War!"

The Queen of Heaven raised her sword high, just as the Gungnir spear was to Odin, the Aether particle to Malekith, and the Casket of Ancient Winters to Laufey, she naturally also had an artifact that suited her divine authority.

High-dimensional energy surged from the void, madly pouring into the Queen's body and the sword, and her aura was constantly rising. Powerful forces and magical elements gathered in front of her, even causing an energy storm. The vast energy materialized around the Queen, forming a whirlwind. Standing in the center of the energy storm, the Queen fearlessly unleashed the power she had accumulated towards Light Luke.

Various spells from the Heavenly Kingdom, accompanied by the energy storm, rained down like a torrential downpour. The powerful energy fluctuations even affected the battle between Odin and Malekith. The two cursed inwardly, and they used their abilities to teleport themselves a long distance away. They didn't want to be affected by this level of energy storm. That crazy woman, extracting and releasing elemental energy, completely disregarded the life and death of this planet.

Faced with the elemental magic and energy torrents that were about to engulf him, the golden energy on Light Luke's body shone brightly once again along the blood vessel patterns, and the energy core of the Light Gem in his chest surged with energy fluctuations that were not inferior to the Queen of Heaven's. Light Luke stretched out his hand, and a powerful restriction force, with him as the boundary, spread forward without limit.

Light Luke's figure was submerged in the colorful energy torrent.

The Queen of Heaven, with a ferocious expression, frantically absorbed the divine power of the battlefield and the magical elements of this planet and the Nine Realms, regardless of damaging her own body, converting the absorbed energy into attacks, creating a high-energy version of saturation bombing with just her own strength.

In other people's understanding, such vast and powerful energy, used to attack one person, would probably turn that person into ashes in an instant. Even Odin, a top-level God-King, without being fully armed, couldn't be sure that he could emerge unscathed from this wave of crazy offensive.

This wasn't Asgard. Although his body was powerful, it couldn't compare to the Queen of Heaven, who was at the center of the battlefield. She could do this recklessly and without regard for the cost because she relied on her continuous self-healing ability.

The fact that this planet hadn't exploded to its core yet, apart from the attack direction being wrong, was all thanks to the power of the World Tree and the planet itself.

Suddenly, the energy torrent, which had been continuing and scraping off a thick layer of topsoil, stopped abruptly, as if the subsequent energy was insufficient. After stopping several times, it completely died down.

The Queen of Heaven shuddered all over, feeling empty. One moment she was in a state where the energy was about to burst her body, and the next moment she was suddenly empty, turning from a surging river into a trickle. This sudden change gave her a special sense of loss and incomprehension. However, she had no time to think about what was going on. Her eyes were fixed on the area where the energy torrent gradually dissipated and the smoke cleared. She wanted to see the scene of that three-eyed stranger being reduced to ashes under the impact of the energy torrent.

However, as the tide of energy began to subside, and all the senses that had been disturbed by the energy torrent returned to work, a powerful aura that was still vigorous in a certain area of dust was captured by the Queen of Heaven's perception. Her expression changed, and she widened her eyes in disbelief. The scene of the dust dissipating revealed Light Luke standing quietly in place, his arm outstretched, a light shield flashing with starlight disappearing into the air.

Behind him, with Light Luke's body as the boundary, the ground on the left and right sides had been scoured into deep cracks by the energy torrent. A large V-shaped terrain formed almost instantly. Deep in the cracks, flowing lava could even be faintly seen.

The Queen of Heaven looked at Light Luke, who was almost unscathed, with a face full of shock and anger. If even this level of energy attack couldn't cause effective damage to the enemy in front of her, then she should completely consider abandoning this attack method and using other attack methods to fight. The level of attack just now, even she had to bear huge burdens and risks. If it weren't for her previous accumulation of divine power from war, and the fact that she was currently in the center of the war, she would not be able to easily use this level of elemental energy attack.

She subconsciously tightened the sword in her hand, took a deep breath, and began to absorb the divine power of the battlefield once again to replenish her somewhat empty body. But this time, the absorption was particularly slow. Previously, she only needed one breath to draw a large amount of divine power from the battlefield to replenish her consumption, but at this moment, even if she had tried her best to absorb, the divine power converging towards her was much less than before. Clearly, in her perception, the divine power of war that she was familiar with and could control like an arm was wandering everywhere on this battlefield.

But she just couldn't draw it in.

Her surroundings seemed to be covered with a thick isolation layer, preventing the entry of those external energies. When she subconsciously deduced the reason for this situation, she suddenly remembered the strange energy fluctuations that Light Luke released before he was swallowed by the energy torrent.

"What did you do?"

The Queen of Heaven looked at Light Luke in front of her with fear. She hadn't perceived it carefully before, but now she found that not only had the speed of absorbing energy slowed down significantly, but many of her skills and magic had also been forgotten, as if she had been brainwashed, and she couldn't use them perfectly. She felt as if she was trapped in a bottomless quagmire, sinking downwards every moment.

Without sufficient power to attack, and having temporarily lost the use of a large number of magic and skills, the only thing she could rely on now was her pure combat skills.

As the Queen with the divine authority of war, she certainly had great confidence in her fighting skills, but facing an enemy who had inflicted heavy damage on her with just his fists, this confidence was somewhat superficial.

Light Luke certainly wouldn't answer the Queen of Heaven's question. He was just a silent one. Luke, who created him, didn't give him emotions or soul consciousness. He just appeared in this world as a pure war weapon.

His only thought was to complete the instructions and tasks given to him by his creator, Luke. Apart from that, he wouldn't have any extra thoughts.

As for the changes that occurred to the Queen of Heaven, it was Light Luke's restriction skill. As the carrier of the Light Gem, he naturally possessed the control characteristics of most energies, especially with the various intelligence provided by Odin of Asgard, it was not impossible to develop some sealing-type skills specifically. Moreover, Light Luke's own design drawings also had similar technologies, only needing to modify some of them and make some adaptation modifications to the energy of this universe, or rather, the Nine Realms.

Golden light filled Light Luke's entire body, dyeing him with a layer of divine brilliance. The Queen of Heaven instinctively felt some kind of danger from this golden energy. She could feel that this energy was somewhat similar to the energy of the Heavenly Kingdom.

Some demons from the Hell dimension nearby were affected by the golden light emanating from Light Luke's body, and white smoke immediately rose from their bodies. They screamed strangely, even forgetting to fight, and scurried away, stopping only when the energy from Light Luke's body could no longer affect them. In just one encounter, some of the demons who had been illuminated by the golden light felt as if they had been splashed with sulfuric acid, and they were in extreme pain. It was a bone-chilling pain, different from the extreme pain that the demons were familiar with.

They didn't know what that golden energy was, but their senses and bodies told them that it was best to stay far away from that energy, otherwise they would be as fragile as humans facing high-temperature flames. It was a power that was opposed to the power of the Hell dimension, a power that was even more annoying and feared than the power of the Heavenly Kingdom.

Holy Light!

The light weapon, solidified like substance, was shaped and held in Light Luke's hand. His dark palm gripped it tightly, his body lunged forward, and he appeared in front of the Queen of Heaven in a seemingly unstoppable and violent posture. The weapons on his four arms swung airtightly, smashing down on the Queen of Heaven from above.

The Queen also swung the sword in her hand airtightly. The sword body, as an artifact, had the ability to cut everything, but the frequency at which she broke the energy weapons in Light Luke's hand couldn't even keep up with his speed of reshaping them.

The opponent's skills were not inferior to hers, and he seemed to be constantly absorbing and adapting to her combat skills. In just half an hour, the Queen of Heaven felt as if thousands of years had passed. The pressure from Light Luke was too great, so great that she was somewhat afraid. However, as soon as this thought appeared, she forcefully suppressed it and threw it behind her. The divine authority of war would certainly bring her great power, but it would also temporarily abandon her because of her fear.

She desperately displayed all her combat skills, trying to break free from Light Luke's attacks and catch her breath, but contrary to her wishes, the pressure she faced became greater and greater. Previously, she could still fight back and forth with Light Luke in a relatively evenly matched battle, but now, she had been completely suppressed to a disadvantage. In a short period of time, the opponent had thoroughly understood and mastered all her skills and analyzed her weaknesses, causing her to resist awkwardly.

Perhaps in the next moment, she would be stabbed into the body by Light Luke's weapon, causing her fatal damage.

Another ten minutes passed, and the Queen of Heaven actually felt the fatigue surging up her body in such a short period of time, which was rare. The replenishment of energy became even more unsustainable, and the pressure and shock on her spirit and body made her movements deformed. In the end, her indestructible defense inevitably showed loopholes. Her heart turned cold, and she wanted to recover, but Light Luke didn't give her a chance to recover.

Two spears pierced into her body, the scorching holy light roasting her flesh and interrogating her spirit. Light Luke even coldly detonated a large amount of holy light that had been infused into her body. The skin under her armor seemed to be dyed a layer of gold in an instant. Under the impact of high-concentration holy light energy, she even had a tendency to have her life form forcibly twisted and transformed into some kind of energy creature, and her spirit and consciousness were also undergoing the purification of this energy. In this moment, some thoughts and ideas that she would never have had before frequently appeared in her mind.

"Don't even think about controlling me!" The Queen of Heaven desperately used the remaining energy in her body to protect her mind, stubbornly resisting the impact of the holy light. For this reason, she even gave up her body's defense.

Light Luke unceremoniously fixed the Queen of Heaven's limbs with four holy light spears, and the light energy core at the core of his chest stirred up a brilliant light, plastering it all over the other party's face from top to bottom at close range.

The Queen of Heaven's desperate cry of pain gradually weakened along with her gradually dissipating figure in the light, and finally disappeared completely. When the light dissipated, only a broken long sword and fragmented armor pieces were left on the field.
