Chapter 79 Deron VS Paul

Chapter 79 Deron VS Paul
The 2008 NBA All-Star Weekend entered its second day, and the All-Star Mixed Shooting Contest kicked off.

The mixed shooting competition requires each participating team to send an active NBA player, an active WNBA player and a retired veteran to form a mixed team. The participating teams are required to shoot at 2 different points within 6 minutes. The team that completes all goals in the least time is the champion.

Participants in this event include Detroit's Chauncey Billups, WNBA Detroit Shock's Sven Cash and retired star Bill Laimbeer.

Chris Duhon of the Chicago team, Candice Dupre of the WNBA Chicago Sky and retired star BJ Armstrong.

Amare Stoudemire of the Phoenix, Kapi Pandist of the WNBA Phoenix Mercury and retired star Eddie Johnson.

San Antonio has Tim Duncan of the Spurs, Betsy Harmon of the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars and retired star David Robinson.

Among them, the Detroit team was the champion of the event in 2007, and the San Antonio team and the Phoenix team were the champions in 2006 and 2005, respectively.

The Chicago team was the first to play. Duhon and Armstrong had very high shooting percentages in the first 5 shots. In the end, Duhon hit a super long three-pointer in the midfield, which took only 39.6 seconds.

The second team played was the Phoenix team. Stoudemire shot from the position of the three-pointer. He made a long shot on his second shot. The retired player Johnson was not in good condition, but the female player Pandist quickly made a super long shot in the midfield, and finally took 50.9 seconds.

The third player to play was San Antonio. The two 7-foot giants had a lot of trouble with mid-range and long-range jump shots. David Robinson took 18 seconds to hit the first shot, but when he threw a 5-pointer into the midfield for the first three-pointer, the team took 41.4 seconds.

The Detroit team was the last to play. Billups made 3 shots at the second point before hitting the basket. Fortunately, the female player Cash made a super long three-pointer on the second shot, and it took 57.9 seconds.

The final was played between the Chicago team and the San Antonio team. The former took too much time for the ultra-long three-pointer in the midfield, while the latter's Duncan hit the three-pointer in the midfield. The team only took 35.8 seconds, and the San Antonio team finally won the championship.

After the mixed shooting competition, there is a skill challenge session.

The skill challenge competition consists of obstacle dribbling, passing and shooting.

The game consists of four players competing in two rounds. The two players with the shortest time in the first round will enter the finals, and then the final champion will be determined.

The 2008 All-Star Skills Challenge was an extremely powerful one.

Participants in this event include defending champion Dwyane Wade from the Miami Heat (2006, 2007 champion), Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, Jason Kidd of the New Jersey Nets (2003 champion) and Deron Williams of the Utah Jazz.

Deron Williams took the lead. He successfully passed the test in 1 or 2 attempts in all events, and finally took only 31.2 seconds.

The second player to play was Kidd. He missed all 5 balls in the jump shot at the top of the arc, which delayed the time and finally took 39.7 seconds.

Paul played third, and he hit the top jumper on one attempt, and the final time was only 29.9 seconds.

Defending champion Wade was the last to play. He even lost the ball when he went around the obstacle.

At this point the final opponent has come out, Deron Williams VS Chris Paul.

Williams and Paul entered the finals. Williams came on the field first. His first shot ended with a dunk, which made a good start. The jumper at the top of the arc was also a pass, and it only took 25.5 seconds in the end.

Paul followed suit, and he took 31.2 seconds.

Paul looked disappointed, unwilling to lose to someone who had been compared all the time, even if it was an insignificant All-Star game, his eyes were filled with sadness like Stephen Nash and Allen Iverson.

Deron Williams was selected by the Utah Jazz with the third overall pick in 2005.

Chris Paul was selected by the New Orleans Hornets with the 2005th overall pick in 4.

The qualifications of the two are similar, and they can both build teams around them, but Jazz's coach Sloan is more optimistic about Deron Williams, who has more physical fitness and more solid basic skills. The Hornets selected talented point guard Chris Paul with the fourth overall pick.

The two have attracted much attention since they entered the league, and the outside world regards them as the league's future No. [-] point guard.

The duel between the two has also attracted much attention, but the team with a better Deron can always win the Hornets with Paul.Regardless of the data or the team, this also gave Deron a good reputation, eating and sleeping to beat Paul.

Deron, fans who are familiar with the Rockets will never forget this name. It is the name that Tracy McGrady ridiculed for being difficult to read.

Deron let the Rockets fall into the sand for two consecutive years. It was a hurdle that the Yao-Mac combination couldn't get past. There was a time when Rockets fans hated Deron, Boozer, and all the players and coaches of that team.

I hate everything in Salt Lake City, I hate Mr. Sloan who has played pick and roll for countless years and never gets tired of it. Even if Yao Mai retired and transferred, he never gave up his hatred for this white iron army.

Until now, I saw that Millsap was the best in the league among the personnel of that team. In the end, there was no point of hatred, and I slowly learned to let go and understand.

Even, more or less, with a trace of pity and a feeling of being at a loss, why did Deron fall so low that he didn't even have the right to be hated by Rockets fans?
05 was not a big draft year. After experiencing the glory of the golden generation in 03, it seems that 05 has not been slowed down. There are only three rookies worth mentioning this year, Deron, Paul and Granger.

We all know that Granger has lost his courage after that major injury, and was ruthlessly sold by the Pacers, so he is not considered a superstar.

Bogut, the No. 05 pick in [-], also played on and off, and was tortured by repeated injuries so that he did not become a superstar. Since his rookie year, Deron and Paul have been recognized by the league as the spokespersons of future league point guards.

This point, until today, is undeniable, but the world is impermanent. One is a super leader who has not touched the floor of the Western Conference Finals for years.

The Deron Paul matchup became a beautiful landscape in the league for a while, and this landscape broke when Deron transferred to the Nets.

Deron in the Nets quickly fell, falling out of the ranks of the league's top point guards. This is not only a loss for the league but also for the fans. It will be difficult for fans to see a high-level point guard battle for many years to come.

Hey, my friend, let me push some books, sports: "Madden Shooting Guard", "Supreme Car", "Basketball God", "Domination of the Arena", this book will be classified and pushed this afternoon, and it will be updated at [-] o'clock.
