Fire Bearer at Hogwarts

Chapter 83 The Frail Somme

Chapter 83 The Frail Somme

Ash walked into the classroom, and he was holding a Thestral behind him. Fortunately, it was class time, otherwise Keke might have difficulty walking in the corridors due to her size.

"Can the students touch you?" Ash asked casually. He patted Ke Ke's curled wings, and he liked the dragon-like shape very much.

"Yes." Ke Ke shook the horse's head, "As long as Ash is willing, I can."

Ash nodded slightly when he heard the words, and it would be great if Keke was willing, after all, most students might not be able to see the Thestrals... If they are not allowed to touch, then Ash can only use magic to attend class.

Thinking about it, the students were talking outside the door. These first-year students came in talking and laughing. Since Ash learned the soul curtain, they have almost no chance to face those terrible monsters...

To be honest, these little badgers and eaglets are quite happy.

"Good morning, Professor." Several female students greeted Ash with a smile, and the male students also waved to Ash.

"Professor Embers, this morning...ah!" A girl stepped back in fright as soon as she entered the classroom, causing several other students to look at her in surprise.

"What happened to her?" Woka tilted his head and looked at Qiu Zhang.

Qiu Zhang didn't speak, she turned the quill, looking quite puzzled.

Only Ash knew what was going on, and he said to the student, "This is our teaching assistant friend today, don't be afraid." As he said that, Ash patted Ke Ke.

"Is there anything around the professor?" Voka muttered curiously, and then she saw the black gloves on Ash's hands, and couldn't help but smiled knowingly.

"Thestrals?" muttered a well-informed eaglet, whose parents were both wizards and ran a circus, so he thought of the magical animal his father kept talking about at home.

"That's right." Ash nodded, "I'm still going to let you guess, Ravenclaw adds five points."

"Really thestrals?" A Ravenclaw looked at the empty place in shock. They didn't know that Hogwarts had a group of Thestrals.

"This is the content of our class today, thestrals." Ashe said, he opened the lesson plan in his hand, "thestrals are very magical animals, who of you knows about them?"

"Mr. Ford." The first eagle who thought of thestrals stood up, "thestrals are a very rare magical animal. They look like horses, but they have a pair of wings like dragons... Then, then it is said Their presence is a sign of bad luck."

"Five points for Ravenclaw." Ash nodded, "Thestrals are indeed very rare, but Hogwarts actually raises a group of thestrals, and they live in the Forbidden Forest."

Ashe spoke, he waved his wand, and a white mist formed behind him.

"The most amazing thing about thestrals is their invisibility, they are invisible..." Ash said, patting Ke Ke, as if confirming his own words.

"But..." muttered the screaming little badger, as she saw the Thestrals.

It's pitch black, and there are bat wings... It's not pretty at all, but it's scary... Thinking of this, Little Badger saw the Thestral staring at her closely, and she quickly lifted the book to block Keke's eyes. Sight.

Seemingly thinking it was fun, Keke snorted, and the noise attracted the attention of all the students.

"Thestrals are invisible to most people, but when you face death and let it go, you can see it," Ash explained. "That's why thestrals are rare, because Most people don't see them."

As he said that, Ash swung his wand, and a Thestral appeared on the silver curtain. After all, most students couldn't see it, so Ash can't teach in front of a cloud of air, right?

"The body of a thestral is a horse, the head is like a dragon, and its wings are more like a bat than a dragon." Ash let the thestral on the screen spread its wings and fly across the ceiling of the classroom, attracting attention. The students looked at it with an exclamation.

"The thestrals around me come from Hogwarts." Ash said, "They are omnivores, and everything can be their food, just like us humans."

"I hope everyone can take good notes." Ash reminded these little wizards who were immersed in the screen, and these little wizards almost kept their eyes on the flying Thestral.

…………

"Therefore, thestrals are not aggressive magical animals. They have a haughty temperament, but they are not aggressive."

Seeing the students' full of interest, Ash nodded slightly, "As usual, you can come and get close to the Thestrals, which is why our teaching assistants are here."

"Is there any student who volunteers to come first?"

After Ash finished speaking, no less than ten students raised their hands high, "Miss An Luo." Ash thought for a while, and chose the tallest Voke.

"Where is it, Professor?" Woka asked, rubbing her hands together, as if looking forward to it.

"It's probably on my left." Ashe said, he patted Ke Ke, which was to determine the direction for Woka.

"It, will it bite?" Woka asked in a low voice, obviously, she is not as bold as she looks.

"Maybe." Ash smiled slightly, and then let Ke Ke snort in his mind.

This sudden movement startled Worka, and she subconsciously took out her wand.

But soon, looking at Ash's smiling face, she realized that it was the professor's prank.

She put away her wand angrily, then stretched out her hand a little nervously.

Ash watched her slap two meters away from Keke and then retracted it like lightning, "I, I seem to have touched it!"

"..."

"You, you don't have Woka..." the girl who could see muttered.

Woka took two steps forward again, and this time she did come to Ke Ke's side.

"Hiss!" Keke took two steps forward and put her body on Woka's hand.

"Ah!" Woka turned pale, but she didn't let go, she slowly rubbed Ke Ke's skin, "It's a bit like a car tire..." she whispered.

Ash nodded, watching Woka go down, he picked up the list, let these eager students to experience one by one.

…………

"Thank you." Ash patted Keke, and then handed out some fruits from the bag. Ash found that Keke liked to eat these fruits.

"Professor Embers?" A surprised voice came from behind Ash, and when Ash turned his head, he saw Professor Thom.

He coughed twice, and then walked slowly to Ash, "You tamed a thestral? Cough cough..." It seemed that the professor was ill.

"You didn't go to... Madam Pang?" Ash thought for a while but still couldn't think of her name.

"I've been there." Som nodded, and then couldn't help coughing twice, "I haven't had a good rest these two days."

Ash nodded knowingly, the two stood by the black lake, the cold wind was blowing their sleeves, and Som's white robe didn't look very warm.

Ash looked at his sickly look and said, "You should buy a pair of gloves." As he spoke, he shook the black gloves on his hand.

"Actually, it's okay..." Som forced a smile, then sat on the grass, wrapped his robe tightly and looked at the castle in the distance.

"Because of the principal's office?" Ash sat next to him, thought for a while, and took off his robe to cover Som.

"Maybe..." Som muttered.
