Chapter 352 Journey to the West is not for teaching the scriptures?

Chapter 352 Journey to the West is not for teaching the scriptures?

People in the Buddhist sect dislike Yuzhen view very much, and hate the Great Immortal Jinding even more, but they can't turn their backs.

Not only can't you turn your face, but you have to maintain a certain degree of friendship.

After all, the Great Immortals of the Golden Top are "questioned by order", they must answer every question, and they can't just talk nonsense.

Therefore, when the Golden Summit Immortal came out for the first time and asked Guanyin what he was going to do, Guanyin said honestly: "I am looking for Buddhist scriptures according to the Buddha's order."

However, Guanyin Bodhisattva is not without temper. He can say what he can, resolutely refrain from saying what he can't, and try to fool what he can.

For example: She once told the Golden Summit Immortal, 'The person who learns the scriptures will arrive in two to three years', this sentence is purely deceitful.

Since the Bodhisattva asked Tang Seng to walk down to the spirit god, how could Tang Seng arrive in two or three years?

If it takes only two or three years, Tang Seng will have to walk forty to fifty thousand miles a year, on average, one or two hundred miles a day?
Don't say that Tang Seng has to experience countless monsters and ghosts on his way to the west. Even if there are no monsters and ghosts, he still has to trek through mountains and rivers. How can he advance one or two hundred miles a day?
It would be more or less the same if they were all the roads of Yimapingchuan.

How did the Jinding Daxian believe it?
It's just because if a mortal rides a horse, if he travels across the vast continent, even if he travels three to five hundred miles a day, it's normal. Therefore, he has been tricked by Guanyin.

Avalokitesvara or others in the Buddhist sect can only harmlessly deceive the Great Immortal Jinding on these ambiguous details, and they dare not really offend the Great Immortal Jinding.

Others don't talk about it, let's just talk about Guanyin Bodhisattva. The Taoist temple of Guanyin Bodhisattva is in the South China Sea. If she doesn't give the Jinding Great Immortal face, it is tantamount to slapping the Jade Emperor in the face. Will the Jade Emperor order a Taoist temple to be built in the South China Sea?

Or, directly send two Chanjiao disciples to station in the South China Sea?
Avalokitesvara is considered a traitor to Chanjiao. If the Jade Emperor wants to punish Guanyin, someone from Chanjiao's disciples must be willing to serve.

For a long time, many people in Buddhism hoped that the Golden Top Immortal would disappear, but no one made a move.

Everyone knows that if the Great Immortal of Jinding had an accident at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, Buddhism would be very passive.

Even if it wasn't done by Buddhism, people in the world will think it was done by Buddhism. Otherwise, there are countless high-ranking monks in such a huge Buddhist school, and you wouldn't know that something happened to the people at the foot of the mountain?
At that time, Buddhism will be hard to absolve the blame, and the Jade Emperor will not let it go, and will definitely send more gods, more powerful gods to station here.

It is not that the Jade Emperor has no one under his command. The key depends on what he is doing. If the Jade Emperor wants to station troops at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, there will be countless Jinxians, Taiyi Jinxians, and even Daluo Jinxians eagerly signing up.

Others don't mention it, but just being on the list of gods, Jiejiao disciples who are officials in the heavenly court will definitely flock here.

……

When Tang Seng came to Yuzhen Temple, it marked that the journey of learning Buddhist scriptures for hundreds of thousands of miles had been completed. Now that he had completed the journey, Zhou Ding did not intend to continue to follow the Westward Journey team.

For one thing, as long as the Tang monk brought the scriptures back to the Tang Dynasty to teach them, Zhou Ding would be able to receive merit from heaven, and there was no need to go to Lingshan.

Secondly, when Tang Seng crossed Lingyundu, he would meet the Buddha who was guided by the Buddhist sect.

In this world, the six saints except Daozu all practice the method of beheading three corpses to become holy. Although Jieyin is making a wish to become holy through merit, he has already beheaded a corpse before becoming holy. Therefore, Zhou Ding It is believed that this receiving Buddha is the dead body clone of the receiving saint.

Otherwise, how dare he use the name Jieyin?

You don't need to think about it, since Zhou Ding has a good relationship with the leader of Tongtian, then he and the Buddhist saint probably won't be friendly.

If the receptionist came to the last sentence: "Little friend, I see that you are destined to my Buddhism!" Zhou Ding was going to be forced!

Therefore, Zhou Ding would never take the initiative to appear in front of Buddhist saints, including saint clones, unless he had to.

Since he didn't intend to continue to join the Journey to the West team, Zhou Ding didn't meet the Great Immortal of Jinding either. He put away the auspicious cloud, controlled the flying sword, and went straight to Nanzhan Buzhou and Dongtu Tang.

Tang Monk's mission of learning scriptures is almost over, Zhou Ding plans to report a letter to Tang Wang first.

In the original book, after Tang Seng returned to Dongtu, it didn't take long for the time limit for one collection. Due to time constraints, Tang Seng only explained a small part of the scriptures.

When the time was up, the way of heaven sent down the merit of learning scriptures.

With the merits and virtues in hand, Tang Seng proved the Tao and became an immortal. Then, Tang Seng was summoned by the Tathagata and returned to Buddhism.

But this time, Zhou Ding planned to call all the monks in advance to make preparations for preaching, and when Tang Seng returned to the Tang Dynasty, he immediately began to give lectures to the monks.

In this way, the time of convening the monks in advance was saved. With this time, Tang Seng would be able to finish the lecture on the scriptures before collecting a few books. In this case, the merits of Zhou Ding and others may be a little more.

Why does Zhou Ding think so?

Because, Zhou Ding felt that when Tang Seng was learning Buddhist scriptures in Lingshan, the Buddhist attitude was very strange.

What a strange way?
Let's say: Tang Seng got on the ferry boat to receive the Buddha, arrived at the Buddhist gate, bowed again and again, I don't know how many times, finally came to the Buddha, and bowed again:

"Disciple Xuanzang, according to the order of the emperor of the Eastern Tang Dynasty, traveled to Baoshan to pray for the scriptures to benefit all living beings. I hope that the Buddha will be kind and return to the country soon."

The Tathagata said: "Your eastern land is the Southern Bubu Continent, because the sky is high and the land is thick, the goods are abundant and the people are dense, you are greedy and murderous, you are promiscuous and deceitful, you are deceitful and deceitful, you don't follow Buddhism, you don't seek good fortune, you don't respect the Three Lights, Disregarding grain, disloyal and filial, unrighteous and unkind, concealing one's heart and ignorance of one's own self, fighting against small scales, taking lives and killing animals, causing boundless crimes, full of sins and evils, leading to the disaster of hell..."

Although Confucius established the teaching of benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom, emperors successively ruled that there were vagrants who were punished by strangling and beheading. "

Is the Tathagata really talking about the Great Tang Dynasty?Compared to Datang, this is the case in Xihe Niuzhou. Otherwise, how could the people of Xihe Niuzhou take rebirth in Datang as their ultimate ideal?

The Buddha went on to say: "I have three collections of scriptures, which can transcend suffering: there is a collection of "Dharma", which talks about the sky. There is a collection of "Lun", which talks about the earth. There is a collection of "Sutras", which can save ghosts.

There are a total of 35 volumes in the Tripitaka, comprising 140 volumes. It is really the path of cultivation, the door of righteousness, you wait to come from afar, and I will give it all to you to take away, but the people there are stupid and strong, slandering the truth, and do not know the mystery of my monk. "

Speaking of this, the Buddha said to the two monks: "A Nuo, Kaye, you two invited Tang Seng and others to give him a few volumes of each of the 35 volumes of my Tripitaka, and taught him to pass them on to the East. Forever pour Hong En."

The words of the Buddha are strange: Buddhist monks went on a journey to the West with great fanfare, and Tang Seng went through all kinds of dangers, and finally reached the West Paradise, but he only picked up a few books for each of them and brought them back to the East.

It can be seen from this that preaching scriptures is not the purpose of Buddhism.

What's more, Buddhism doesn't want to spread the scriptures to the east. The purpose of traveling to the west is to occupy the land of the east, clean up the monsters along the way, and demonstrate the prestige of Buddhism.
