Chapter 51 Bant: My house is quite big

Chapter 51 Bant: My house is quite big

A Turkish kebab shop a few blocks from the Stark Tower.

Tony and Fury each held a half-bitten piece of barbecue and fell into silence.

Since Stark Tower was destroyed, it has become almost a shell like Osborn Tower...

No, at least much of the interior of Osborne Building was not burned out by the fire, and the ceiling was not broken.

Anyway, in order to make the conversation more convenient, Tony and Fury chose a nearby place to eat, and after the dishes were served, they cleared the place.

It’s just the taste of this dish…

The dog shook his head after eating it!

Fury threw the barbecue aside, glanced at Natasha who was looking up and chugging to replenish water, and said:
"You mean, the flame man who appeared in Stark Industries this time, he claimed to be the 'security officer of the Tiangong Association'?"

"That's what he said." Tony picked up the napkin and wiped his mouth, then drank something to rinse his mouth.

Until now, he hasn't even taken off his armor. Stark Tower has been destroyed and there is nothing left of his workshop.

Mark IV still requires mechanical assistance to put on and take off.

"As for more information, shouldn't you ask Norman Osborn?"

He pulled up several pictures.

"The lizard man in Williamsburg, the dinosaur man who attacked Midtown High School, and the monster tonight..."

Each of the three photos is more terrifying than the last.

"Biotechnology is Osborn's specialty. Stark used to work in the military industry, but now he has switched to the energy industry."

Tony looked as if it was none of his business, threw his phone away and said with a relaxed look on his face.

"I have decided to claim compensation from Osborne."

He does have money, but that doesn't mean he wants to be taken advantage of.

His building was destroyed for no reason, so of course he was unwilling to suffer in silence.

"I'm afraid he can't give you any compensation." Fury shook his head.

Such a big thing happened, and as the director of SHIELD, he naturally had already investigated Osborn a long time ago.

But now the Osborne Group has already been in turmoil.

"Norman Osborn was almost kicked off the board, and now all the blame is being pushed onto a researcher named Kurt Connors."

Fury sighed.

He certainly did not feel sorry for the decline of the Osborne Group, but because Connors' whereabouts were unknown and his research results had disappeared with him.

How could such dangerous research not be kept by SHIELD!

Locking up such dangerous things in S.H.I.E.L.D. is like putting the talisman in Area 13.

One word!

Safety!

In his opinion, everything should be in the hands of SHIELD, and any organization should be under the supervision of SHIELD, otherwise it would be a threat!
Fury had never heard of the so-called Tiangong Association before, but that did not stop him from treating the other party as an imaginary enemy.

"No matter what this so-called Tiangong does, we must be prepared to become their enemy in the end," he said.

He looked at Tony Stark and guessed that the fire man might not be a creature from Earth, but an alien.

As for the Tiangong Association, he also planned to go back and check the information left by the Skrulls.

But he didn't tell Tony the news.

Instead, he said, "Anyway, now that we are in the same group, I hope we can be more honest about intelligence."

"Of course!"

Tony nodded sincerely, not saying a word about the flash mob star he had seen before.

Putting these two people together, they both have at least eight hundred minds and nothing they say can be trusted.

After a while, the two people parted ways.

Tony didn't join the Avengers in the end, mainly because Nick Fury and his superiors had not yet reached an agreement, so it was still unclear whether the Avengers could be established.

"Go back, Agent Romanov, Agent Barton."

He said, swinging his black windbreaker and walking onto the Quinjet.

Natasha, who had recovered from her dehydration, now felt much more relaxed.

She was stuck in the ventilation duct, and when Flame rushed into Stark Tower, he almost steamed her dry, even her underwear was wet.

Tony lowered his head and thought for a while as he watched Nick Fury leave. No matter what, at least one thing this black guy said made him feel right. He should be prepared to be an enemy of the so-called "Heavenly Union".

"If this flame man is my enemy, how can I deal with him?"

he thinks.

"Jarvis, update the file."

night.

Bant returned to Queens with the variable device left by Dong Wu.

At this time, Peter was already waiting for him to come home at the dining table with Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

"It was really thrilling today. Fortunately, you are all okay!"

Aunt Mei didn't feel completely relieved until she saw him with her own eyes. She wiped the tears from her eyes with her wrinkled hands and hugged him tightly.

She was referring to the attack on the school today.

"It was Spider-Man who saved Peter and me." Bant said that he had already agreed with Peter on the testimony.

"It seems that he is indeed a good man," said Uncle Ben.

Spider-Man has only been around for a few days, and most of the comments about him in online media and mainstream media are somewhat negative. However, with just one word from Bant, Uncle Ben and Aunt May changed their impression of Spider-Man.

"I hope you and Peter can learn from him and do your best to help those in need!" Uncle Ben emphasized.

But Aunt Mei retorted unhappily: "It's okay to help others, but it's not okay to learn from him and fight those monsters! It's too dangerous!"

She pulled Bant to sit down with her.

The family had dinner together.

Afterwards, Bant helped with the dishes while Uncle Ben sat on the sofa reading the newspaper, still trying to find a job the old fashioned way.

Back in the room, Peter followed in.

He had basically seen what happened on the news, and now came over to find out the details.

"Connors has returned to his old self."

Hearing this, Peter breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he lay down on Bant's bed and said, "I'm afraid we won't be able to go to school for the next few days. How about going to be Spider-Man with me?"

"No, I have something else to do tomorrow," Bant said. Then he seemed to remember something and added, "By the way, remember to find Connors some time. He plans to give you his camera."

Peter originally had his own camera, but it was later destroyed by Connors. Now Connors plans to give him his equipment.

Although it is in the sewer, the equipment is still top-notch.

"Great!"

"Now I can take pictures of Spider-Man again!"

Peter was very happy.

After a while, Bant heard Aunt May's voice from downstairs:

"Ben, Peter, Mary Jane is here!"

"I should be here to find you."

Peter was self-aware, but he still went downstairs with Bant, said a simple hello, and then left.

Mary Jane looked her usual self, with fiery red hair and those dimples on either side of her mouth that made her look beautiful.

"I saw the light in your room was on."

She said it a little awkwardly, pinching the corner of her clothes nervously with her hands.

"Are you OK?"

Although she had already reported that she was safe over the phone, Mary Jane couldn't help but run over to check if Bant was injured.

"I'm fine." Bant repeated what he had said before.

"That's good, I just came to ask..." Mary Jane stammered. For some reason, she suddenly felt the atmosphere was a little awkward.

"Then I'll go back..."

"Would you like to sit in my room?"

Bant said, my room is quite big.
