Chapter 3: The glory of the nuclear explosion, the protagonist, the dead

Chapter 3: The glory of the nuclear explosion, the protagonist, the dead
Red spared the life of the enemy's reconnaissance pilot, King, and revealed that he had his own considerations for the intelligence of the nuclear bomb attack.

This is certainly not Redd's chastity. To be precise, it is meaningless to remind Junius 7 of the nuclear attack at this time. As long as Mobius cannot intercept the nuclear bomb, even if the colony satellite launches a spacecraft to evacuate now, the shock wave and debris caused by the explosion of the nuclear bomb will still kill everyone. The spacecraft cannot fly out of the impact range in this short time. Besides, it is still unclear whether the other party will believe what he said.

Red's behavior was simply not pleasing to both sides. For the Earth Alliance, this kind of behavior of directly warning the enemy of its own attack plan would undoubtedly lead to a direct military court and a small fine.

But for Red now, this is leaving himself a way out.

Although he was ready to drift in the universe, he had to be honest. If the plan went well and a spaceship could rescue him, given his current location, the ZAFT troops heading to Junius VII to investigate would be the most likely to find him. At that time, Red would have to rely on this communication record to save his life, or at worst, he could die quickly.

As for the possibility of the Earth Alliance reading this communication record, it is almost zero, and the Roosevelt is calm. After Junius VII is destroyed, ZAFT will definitely go crazy, and the Earth Alliance will definitely not be able to enter the nearby space to pick him up.

The rest is that they are lucky enough to be picked up by a civilian ship of the Earth Federation or a ship of a neutral country. In this case, Red has enough time to physically destroy the system records. After all, it is a miracle to survive the annihilation battlefield of Junius 7, so there is no guarantee that the machine will be intact.

After Red drove Mobius away from the abandoned platform, he turned his attention back to the main battlefield.

In the few minutes that Red left the battlefield to fight the reconnaissance Jinn, the battle on the front battlefield was over.

The Atlantic Federation's battle was originally a surprise attack, and Junius 7's guards were on passive defense. Moreover, the PLANT army was originally short of manpower, and the main force was on the front battlefield. Those who could stay in the rear to defend an agricultural satellite were generally green-clad people with some conditions at home. After all, the war had just started a few days ago, and ZAFT had not been exhausted to the point of having to use student soldiers on the battlefield.

This type of green-clad pilot could probably only be ranked second among ZAFT's green-clad pilots. In addition, the number of Mobius on their side was also superior. After the reconnaissance-type King was entangled by Red, they were quickly defeated on the front battlefield without intelligence support.

The five Jinns have now become wreckage, but the Mobius troops are not much better off. On the radar, Red can only see four Mobius continuing to advance in the direction of Junius 7.

The performance gap between the two sides' aircraft is too big, and judging from the Atlantic Federation pilots that Red met on the Roosevelt, their level is also very average. Many of them are recruits, and they are all members of Blue Cosmos. Perhaps for this mission, loyalty is more important than strength.

The team that Red was in was borrowed to supplement elite combat power.

Seeing this, Reid quickly turned on the wireless communication and connected to the team's communication to ask

"This is Red Isaac. We have taken out the reconnaissance type Jinn. Is anyone still alive? Is anyone still alive?"

Red had actually given up hope at this point. The casualty ratio between King and Mobius had always been 1:5. Even if his team had been fighting guerrilla warfare, there was no guarantee that they would not be shot down. After all, bad teammates were more likely to cause casualties among veterans on the battlefield.

And the nickname of the mass-produced machine Mobius is not for nothing. In order to mass-produce it, it is not equipped with any thick armor. It will be damaged if it touches it, and it will explode if it touches it. Its protection performance is almost zero. Fortunately, Captain Steve's voice soon came from the communicator. He was obviously very tired, but at least he was still alive.
"Red? He is worthy of being the trump card of our Artemis Fortress. A Mobius defeated a reconnaissance Jinn alone. But the other guys were not so lucky. Now there are only two of us left in our team. I have run out of ammunition and am resupplying on the mothership. You should not have much ammunition left either. Come back quickly to resupply... Boom!!!!"

Before Captain Steve could finish his words, a huge explosion was heard over the communication line, and the next second, the communication was cut off.

Red quickly looked towards the Roosevelt and saw from afar two Kings circling around the mother ship. The close-in defense machine guns of the Agamemnon-class aircraft carrier were not dense enough, and the engine was obviously attacked, causing a huge explosion.

Afterwards, Red watched as a smoking King equipped with a D-unit (large high-explosive missile) for siege rushed to the front of the bridge. The next second, the bridge was blown up.

When the bridge exploded, the control system of the entire battleship was directly scrapped. After the parallel lines caught fire, the fire quickly spread throughout the ship. A few seconds later, a huge explosion occurred inside the Roosevelt, and several large holes were blown in the hull. No one inside would survive.

Even though Red had known that this would be the final outcome, he still felt a sense of desolation as if the rabbit had died and the fox had grieved over it.

But Red didn't feel sad for too long, a crazy shout came from the battlefield public channel
"Haha, we're close enough, monsters in the sky! Die! For the sake of this blue and pure world!!"

This shout immediately brought Red back to his senses. He was not safe yet. The nuclear bomb attacked the colony satellite, and he was still within the range of the shock wave and satellite debris. Don't look back. He didn't die on the battlefield and was carried away by the flying debris after the colony satellite was blown up.

So Red turned Mobius around without saying a word, pushed the thrusters to the highest position, and deliberately adjusted the angle to use the abandoned platform as a shield to avoid being smashed into a sieve by the satellite debris, and then left this space area as quickly as possible.

However, Red still took it for granted. Sound cannot be transmitted in the universe, and the sound of a nuclear bomb explosion cannot be heard. But the light emitted by the nuclear bomb can blind Red's dog eyes through the panoramic camera even if it is carried on the back.

The good news is that this white light, which was comparable to a flash bomb, did not torture Red's eyes for long, because Mobius's system crashed instantly, the camera could no longer see anything, and all the buttons in the cockpit went dark.

The moment the malfunction occurred, Red realized what he had overlooked. The nuclear bomb explosion had its own EMP shock, but Red had overlooked this point. His Mobius did not have any EMP protection, so it would shut down immediately after the EMP shock.

Red knew that he was completely doomed. Next up was the debris from the colony satellite. Without a life support system, he couldn't adjust his body's posture. There was no way he could survive this wave of debris.

Perhaps it was less than a second. Red only felt as if his soul had left his body. His eyes went dark and his consciousness completely disappeared.
