Hogwarts: I am Voldemort.
Chapter 99
Chapter 99
When Voldemort returned to the castle, he was already drunk.
Of course he wouldn't let himself get completely drunk, but the smell was real.
"Quirrell, I'll send Kettleburn off, and Trelawney will leave it to you." Before the stairs, Dean Flitwick said to him.
Compared with the other two, Voldemort and Dean Flitwick were still sober—this little man's drinking capacity was not inferior to Hagrid, and even Voldemort was inferior to him.
"Okay, Dean, there is no problem." Voldemort took the order, half helping Trelawney upstairs.
"Quirrell, have another drink." Trelawney said with a mouth full of alcohol, "Let's drink some more. It's really fun chatting with you. You are different from them, different."
Voldemort smiled helplessly. He just said a few flattering words to the crazy lady at the wine table - the half-hearted kind - and she entangled him, and the two of them really drank a lot this time.
"Sybyl, you're too drunk, I'll take you back, don't make trouble." Voldemort comforted her while helping her to walk up.
"I'm not drunk, Quirrell, I'm really not drunk." She said, "I know these people look down on me, but you are not. Eyes can't deceive people, let alone people who can peek into fate."
Voldemort forced a smile, choosing not to talk too much lest Trelawney should have too much to say.
But he obviously underestimated Trelawney's desire to express, she kept talking, which made Voldemort quite helpless.
In this way, they reached the fourth floor, and the two met Filch, who was on patrol.
"Quirrell, you are such a good man." Seeing Voldemort carefully supporting Trelawney, Filch said sincerely, "Hogwarts has not had such a good professor as you for a long time."
Another contestant full of resentment... Voldemort thought.
"Everyone is fine, Filch, don't say that," said Voldemort. "Christmas, you should go to bed early too, don't be too tired."
"I can't, Quirrell, at Christmas, the students love to make trouble, but you, early..."
Before he could finish his sentence, a shrill howl suddenly came from the depths of the corridor on the fourth floor, and the two turned their heads to look in the direction of the sound at the same time.
"It's the library, Filch. It looks like you've been busy," said Voldemort.
"Damn students, Christmas is not a worry." He whispered angrily, but his face showed a happy expression, "I'm busy, Quirrell, Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas."
Before Voldemort could finish his sentence, Filch was already walking quickly to the library - he was always active in catching students.
Good luck, Harry...thought Voldemort.
Of course he knew where the cry was coming from, that Harry Potter Night Tour had opened the forbidden book.
But he doesn't want to have any contact with this child, the two are destined enemies, and all this will not change because of a Fengya scarf.
"Come on, Trelawney, don't watch the show." Voldemort said softly, helping Trelawney to go upstairs.
"Be careful with him, Quirrell, that person will hurt you." Trelawney said blankly with her big eyes wide open.
Voldemort didn't reply, he just thought she was talking drunk, and helped her all the way to the North Tower.
"Here, Sybil, I think you can go into the bedroom by yourself," said Voldemort, stopping in front of her office.
"I can." Trelawney nodded, but she didn't go into the office immediately, but leaned against Voldemort's body, raised her head and asked, "Am I beautiful?"
Voldemort thought he had seen a ghost, but he couldn't push Trelawney away - she was a fragile woman, and she needed to be careful in rejecting her.
"If you dress up, I mean the normal one," said Voldemort with a smile, "then you must be beautiful. Well, Sybil, I'm going back to my office."
"Stay with me a little longer, okay? Just treat it as a Christmas present," she begged.
Voldemort wanted to refuse, but Trelawney's big round eyes were full of mist-although they were ugly, they were indeed pitiful.
"I can't say no, Sybil, but I hope it's just a chat and nothing else, okay?" Voldemort said softly.
"Of course, I have good tea here, which I got from the place where there are pandas."
Trelawney looked a little sober, which made Voldemort's headache even more, but fortunately Trelawney really just wanted to buy him a cup of tea.
The two chatted for a while, and the topic was a bit mixed, but it was normal.
Voldemort drank three cups of tea here - very hangover, so he stayed a little longer - and then got up to take his leave, Trelawney obliged, and sent him out.
"Our future will intersect, Quirrell, I can see fate." She said.
Voldemort shrugged, not paying attention, and he walked all the way down the stairs, preparing to return to his office.
But when he was walking at the corner of the stairs on the fifth floor, he bumped into someone with his left shoulder, but there was nothing in his eyes.
Then he heard a short scream, and a hand appeared out of nowhere, like the hand of a drowning man, waving it indiscriminately.
"what."
Voldemort's left hand was grabbed, and the sting came, making him let out a short cry, and instantly knew who it was.
The incident happened so suddenly that he had almost no time to think about it, but he knew that the person was nearby.
"Wingardim~Leviosa~"
Pointing the wand towards the void, Harry's figure slowly emerged, the invisibility cloak was slipping down, and Voldemort's left hand was also quickly withdrawn and retracted behind him.
"Harry?"
Voldemort pretended to be a little surprised and looked around while enduring the pain.
"It's me, Professor, I'm sorry to scare you." Harry said aggrievedly, and looked at Voldemort with pleading eyes, hoping that he would be put down.
Voldemort nodded, but did not respond immediately.
He heard a rush of footsteps downstairs, but it died away after Harry spoke.
"It really surprised me, Harry, were you the one Filch was chasing before?" Voldemort asked after putting Harry down, but inadvertently glanced at the downstairs stairs, there was no one there.
"Yes, I'm looking for some information, for learning." Harry lied, but Voldemort didn't care.
"Go back to bed early, Harry, I don't want you to lose points for the house at Christmas time, that would suck."
Harry nodded immediately, then quickly picked up the cloak and wanted to leave, but Voldemort chose to follow him after thinking for a moment.
"I'll take you home, and if I meet Filch, I'll tell you I'm giving you after-school tutoring—you can't have an unhappy Christmas," said Voldemort, looking away from time to time.
"Okay, Professor, thank you, Professor." Harry said sincerely.
Voldemort nodded, but took out his wand with his right hand, making a look of eagerness to try.
Damn it, this scene is so hard to play, my left hand hurts like hell... Voldemort thought to himself.
