Hogwarts: I am Voldemort.

Chapter 349 Dumbledore in Action

Chapter 349 Dumbledore in Action

"Knock, knock, knock."

There was a knock on the door of the study, and Voldemort looked at the door suspiciously, wondering who would be looking for him at this time.

"Master, do you need me to avoid it?" August asked.

"Just put your hat on, August."

Voldemort spoke to him softly, and then loudly told those outside the door to come in.

"Squeak."

The door opened and Lucius walked in.

He didn't look at August who was wearing a hood, but looked directly at Voldemort and said, "Dark Lord, there is news from the school that Harry went to the headmaster's office again and disappeared with the headmaster."

Voldemort frowned, then nodded and said: "Keep paying attention, and also, pay attention to the surveillance there."

"Yes."

After Lucius bowed to respond, he turned and left without hesitation.

……

"Whoosh."

After a whirlwind, Harry, who appeared with Dumbledore's entourage, finally stood firm.

In the darkness with a refreshing atmosphere, he took a big mouthful of fresh, salty air.

Harry knew it was the smell of the sea, and he could still hear the crashing waves.

And when he recovered better, he could see the sea under the moonlight and the starry night sky in the distance.

"What do you think?" Dumbledore asked.

"The teacher of Wu's Orphanage brought the students here?"

Harry said nonchalantly, scanning the surroundings behind him at the same time.

It was a cliff, with a steep rock wall falling straight down, so dark that it was impossible to see its face clearly.

Several large rocks, like the one on which Harry and Dumbledore are standing, appear to have fallen off the cliff at some point in the past.

The surroundings are bare and desolate, except for the vast sea and rocks, there is no tree, no grass and sand.

It made Harry wonder what a teacher at Wu's Orphanage could do with bringing a child here.

"To be exact, it's not here." Dumbledore pointed behind him. "Along the mountainside down here, there is a place that can barely be called a village. They were taken there."

Harry nodded, which he found to be an acceptable answer.

After all, no matter how small the village is, it is better than this bare place.

"Come on, Harry, our target is a little farther away."

Dumbledore said, motioning Harry to walk along the edge of the rock, stepping on the jagged grooves, towards a huge pebble in the distance.

"Fluorescent flashes!"

When the two came carefully to the pebble, Dumbledore waved his wand.

"Did you see it?"

Dumbledore raised his wand even higher, so that Harry could see a gap in the cliff, and the dark, swirling water in the gap.

Harry nodded, not understanding what the headmaster meant.

"You don't mind getting wet, do you?"

"It's okay," Harry said.

"Then take off your invisibility cloak - there's no need to wear it now - and let's take a chance."

Dumbledore, suddenly as agile as a young man, slid lightly off the pebble into the sea and swam towards the dark crevice in the rock face.

Harry followed behind, took off his invisibility cloak, stuffed it into his pocket, and then jumped into the water as well.

The sea water was extremely cold, soaking through his clothes in an instant, making it bulging and heavy, dragging him down.

Harry was not frightened by this turn of events, he was as calm as Dumbledore, using breaststroke all the way forward, chasing the light spot on Dumbledore's wand.

Not long after, he swam to the dark sea water as far as he could see.

He guessed that if the tide was high, the tunnel would be filled with water, but apparently not now.

Dumbledore didn't stop here, Harry could only continue to follow.

His fingers, numb from the cold, occasionally scratched against the rough, wet rock, but the numbness prevented him from feeling the pain.

After swimming forward for a while, Harry saw Dumbledore stand up from the water ahead, and he hurried forward.

really.

Soon after, the sea became shallow, and he started wading through the water like Dumbledore.

Finally, the two came to the center of the cave hidden in the crevice of sea water. Dumbledore held up his wand and spun around to observe the rock wall and the cave roof.

"Yes, this is the place." Dumbledore said firmly.

"How do you know?" Harry asked suspiciously.

"It has seen magic."

Dumbledore said briefly, but then he was worried that he was not detailed enough, so he explained again.

"Magic always has traces. I used to like to see the marks left by magic power, but now I like to induce ripples, and the effect will be better."

Harry nodded, he understood what Dumbledore meant.

In fact, he now has an in-depth study of Porto.

Of course, at Snape's urging.

He looked at Dumbledore, who was slowly spinning in place, apparently concentrating on something Harry couldn't see.

"It's just the vestibule, the entrance hall."

Dumbledore murmured to himself, "We need to go inside... What is blocking us now is the mechanism set by Voldemort, not the barrier of nature..."

As he spoke, he walked towards the cave wall and touched it with his stiff right hand.

When Dumbledore's hand touched the cave wall, he said something in a language Harry couldn't understand, and then circled the cave wall twice.

After busying up and down for a while, Dumbledore finally stopped.

"It's here." He said happily, "A very hidden entrance, very clever technique."

Harry touched his nose with his hand, recalling what Snape had told him about finding magical traps.

Compared with the knowledge that Snape taught him, what Dumbledore is doing now is too advanced, and he can't understand it.

"Did you succeed?"

Harry asked softly, afraid of disturbing Dumbledore's appearance.

"of course."

Dumbledore smiled back at him, then noticed Harry shivering.

"Oh, sorry, Harry, I forgot."

As he said, he took out his wand and pointed it at Harry, and Harry's clothes were instantly clean and warm, as if they had been hung in front of a roaring fire to dry.

"Thank you," Harry said gratefully.

Dumbledore smiled, looked back at the cliff again, and took out a silver dagger at the same time.

"What are you going to do, Headmaster?" Harry asked in surprise.

"Open the door, Harry, this is the price that must be paid." Dumbledore said.

"The price?" Harry wondered, "What price?"

"If I'm not mistaken..."

As Dumbledore spoke, he raised his right hand and shook his sleeve, exposing his wrist, "It should be blood."

"Blood?" Harry repeated aloud.

"Yes, Harry, but you needn't be surprised, it seems to me...that's a very low price to pay."

Dumbledore comforted him with a smile, and then the dagger landed on his right arm without hesitation.

Blood spewed out and sprinkled on the dark and damp cliff.

"He just wanted to weaken me before I could get in, but that only proves that Voldemort, once again, has failed to understand that there are many things worse than physical harm."

As Dumbledore said, he let the blood spill on other places on the rock wall, "Of course, that's just him in the past, maybe he's changed now."

And as he said these words, a dazzling white arch appeared on the cave wall.

The blood-stained rock in the arch began to slowly disappear, slowly revealing a dark doorway.

"Come with me."

Dumbledore waved his wand, making it light up again.
