Hogwarts: I am Voldemort.
Chapter 182 Severus True Double Agent Snape
Chapter 182 Severus True Double Agent Snape
Snape was his own captain, and unsurprisingly, he was in charge of his life.
He chose Slytherin, he chose the Dark Arts, he chose Death Eaters, he chose Lily Evans...
No one has influenced his life, except fate.
Under the trend of fate, he made his life complicated and chaotic.
But he can figure out what he wants, and the choice is not difficult for him.
In the middle of the night, the castle is quiet.
Students snored in their dormitories, professors and pickets patrolled the floors.
Snape hurriedly walked from the basement to the eighth floor.
His eyes are still empty, and his actions are still decisive.
"Professor Snape, where are you going?"
"Principal room."
Facing Professor McGonagall's inquiry, Snape left a word and walked upstairs.
It seems that he is not afraid of his whereabouts being revealed, nor is he afraid of the prying eyes of Voldemort who does not know where he is hiding.
Is he really going to completely betray Voldemort?
……
Principal room.
"boom."
The stone statue jumped away, disturbing Dumbledore who was checking the information on the desk.
"Who?"
Dumbledore moved his crescent eyes down to the tip of his nose, and looked out over his spectacles.
"Me." Snape replied.
Dumbledore frowned, and looked at the corner of the stairs suspiciously until Snape came up.
"I just heard your voice, and I felt something was wrong."
Snape had only revealed half of his body, and Dumbledore left his seat as if he had jumped out of the chair.
He walked towards Snape, half bent down, carefully looked at Snape's neck, and even stretched out his hand to touch it.
"Severus, have you found the Healing Charm for the Cutthroat Curse?" Dumbledore asked Snape in surprise.
There are only two ways to eliminate the wounds left by black magic:
The first one, whoever hurts, heals, and the caster personally withdraws the malice, which is the best choice.
The second is to develop special medical spells for different evil spells, just like making different medicines for different flus, but this is very difficult.
"No." Snape said succinctly.
Dumbledore was taken aback for a moment, then raised his eyebrows and asked, "Did you see him?"
"Yes."
Dumbledore held his breath for a moment, then turned back to his desk, picked up the hot chocolate mixed with the medicine, and drank half of the cup in one gulp.
"Tell me, Severus, what has happened to you."
Dumbledore said, motioning for Snape to sit in front of him, and then he waved his wand, and a large pile of books on the table automatically closed and flew towards the bookshelf.
Snape glanced at the books and saw that they were books on magical creatures.
He didn't express any opinion on this, but walked across to Dumbledore and sat down slowly.
It was a gesture that surprised Dumbledore - Snape rarely sat down in front of him before - but he didn't say much, it was a gesture of his hand for a drink.
"I never drink other people's food, Dumbledore." Snape said in a deep voice, "You must be wondering what he looked like when I saw him?"
"What is it like?" Dumbledore asked.
"Same as me, Dumbledore." Snape said, looking straight at Dumbledore.
"Cough cough."
Dumbledore pushed his glasses, as if he suddenly realized that wearing reading glasses was not suitable for conversation. He took off the glasses, heaved a sigh of relief, wiped them with his sleeve, and put them aside neatly.
After all this was done, he said, "It's surprising, Severus, it's surprising."
Snape's eyes scanned Dumbledore's face, and he saw no trace of guilt, none.
"I'm surprised too, Dumbledore." Snape said in a deep voice.
"Yes, but I think Tom has a way, Snape, we all know he's very smart." After Dumbledore finished speaking, he immediately changed the subject, "What did he tell you?"
"I won't say, Dumbledore."
Snape's words immediately made Dumbledore's eyes darken.
"Then the meaning of your coming here is..."
"He restored it, I think he did it for you to see." Snape continued, pointing to his neck, "so I came here to show you."
"So you bowed your head to him again?"
Dumbledore didn't look at Snape when he asked.
He was sure that he wouldn't see any unnecessary expressions on the face of this Occlumency master, so he just played with his beard, looking very casual.
"He doesn't trust me and doesn't seem to need me to bow down."
Unexpectedly, Snape's words revealed some different information.
Dumbledore thought quickly:
The man neither told himself what Tom had said, but also indicated the strained relationship between the two.
So what is his purpose?
"Is he all right?" asked Dumbledore, lowering his beard, "after murdering a young wizard."
"If my judgment is correct, he didn't kill that person." Snape gave another unexpected answer.
"Let's have an open conversation, shall we, Severus?" Dumbledore asked, leaning forward.
Snape stared at him, his eyes growing hollower, clearly using Occlumency at full capacity.
His actions had already given the answer, and he refused.
Dumbledore leaned back, stared at Snape suspiciously for a while, and then asked suddenly, "Will you tell Tom the names of the books you just read about me?"
"If he doesn't ask, I won't answer."
Dumbledore's eyes lit up, and he nodded, already understanding what Snape meant.
He wouldn't be the one loyal to himself anymore, and of course, he wouldn't be completely loyal to Voldemort either.
Dumbledore already understood that Snape was going to be a double agent whom both he and Tom knew.
In other words, he hated the game and didn't want to play it anymore.
"why?"
Dumbledore asked abruptly, but he knew that with Snape's wisdom, he could understand his subtext:
Why did you take the initiative to expose your identity, and why did you not want to participate in this matter again.
Snape's brow furrowed, looking like he had something to say, but he held back.
"Even if you lose your job at Hogwarts, are you willing to do so?" Dumbledore asked.
"If you insist on pushing me to the You-Know-Who, I have no objection." Snape said, "In fact, my hatred for the two of you doesn't matter whether it's serious or not."
Dumbledore was a little autistic by what he said, and he started playing with his beard again, and didn't know what to say for a while.
Snape was like a middleman sitting at the negotiating table, who was bullied by both sides and went crazy, then suddenly got up and overturned the table.
Snape: I'm at a showdown, I'm not playing.
