Chapter 15 Farce
Time passed quietly with Kyle's research, and it was Halloween in a blink of an eye.

A lot of interesting things happened during this period.

A Quidditch match between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff.

Thanks to Seeker's excellent performance, Hufflepuff won a perfect victory.

Just as Ravenclaw had scored four goals, Cedric Diggory caught the Snitch to end the game.

With the final score of 170:40, Hufflepuff won.

It is said that Hufflepuff held a grand celebration banquet in the lounge that night, and many Gryffindor cubs also participated in it.

In addition, there were several conflicts between Potter and Malfoy, and the two sides had friendly exchanges including but not limited to quarreling, confrontation, pushing, and fighting each other.

The only thing Kyle regrets is that since neither party used magic, no one was imprisoned.

After class in the afternoon, when Kyle passed by the auditorium, he found that the professors were already decorating the auditorium.

Professor Flitwick used a spell to turn the ceiling into a cloud-covered, lightning-thundering appearance;

Professor McGonagall transformed the decorations on the wall into skulls, spider webs and other festive decorations with the transformation spell;
The most exaggerated was Hagrid, who even brought several jack-o'-lanterns as tall as a person and stacked them in the corner.

There are more than 1000 live bats hovering densely on the walls and ceiling.

Other bats went up and down, and the vibration of their wings made the candlelight flicker.

Some bats swarmed onto the table, which looked like a big dark cloud from a distance.

Apparently, the arrival of the festival made the professors feel quite happy. Professor Flitwick, who was outspoken, was casting spells while chatting with the little wizards and listening to their requests;
And Professor McGonagall, even Kyle thought he heard it wrong, and Kyle actually heard Professor McGonagall humming some ditty.

After resting in the bedroom for a while, Kyle changed into a new robe and walked towards the auditorium.

Principal Dumbledore, McGonagall and many other professors were already sitting on the rostrum waiting for the banquet to start.

Like every year, Professor Snape was not included.

Thinking about the character of the professor who should not enter the stranger, it is normal to be repelled by this kind of occasion.

In previous years' banquets, Professor Snape was usually the last to arrive, and would be the first to leave after a simple meal.

But this year, there was one more professor who did not attend in advance like Snape.

It's this year's new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Quirinus Quirrell.

Talking about the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor has become a running joke in school.

When speaking, he stutters and promises.

When talking, they dare not look directly at each other, and their eyes are evasive.

In class, I read the textbook according to the text. It seems that I plan to read the textbook aloud in one school year.

Coupled with the smell of garlic all over his body, this senior who graduated from Ravenclaw has a very bad reputation in school.

But Kyle looked at Professor Quirrell differently.

At the beginning of school, Kyle had put up with the smell of garlic and asked him a few questions.

After all, to become a professor at Hogwarts, one must have some ability.

Poor performance in class can only prove that he is not good at teaching, but it cannot deny his magic level.

The result of the trial was beyond Kyle's expectations.

When Kyle asked about the spell of defense, Professor Quirrell just repeated the explanation of the spell in the textbook.

I don't have my own opinions, and the retelling is confusing, with one sentence here and another.

However, when Kyle tentatively asked about black magic, Professor Quirrell explained a few words casually.

Although he was still submissive, and after two or three sentences, he immediately changed the topic.

However, in just two or three sentences, Kyle heard that Professor Quirrell had a unique view on this spell.

Afterwards, Kyle asked several questions related to black magic. Although it was not something that was explicitly forbidden to learn, it was still a sideshow.

Unfortunately, Kyle never got any useful pointers.

It seems that the previous explanation was just the product of Quirrell's flash of inspiration.

After Kyle started his own research, he stopped exploring this issue.

Soon, Dumbledore announced the start of the dinner.

Professor Snape had also entered the Great Hall a few minutes before dinner began.

The stern face and impatient eyes all showed the professor's distaste for banquets.

Obviously disgusted with such useless things, disturbing the professor's brewing of potions.

While secretly teasing his dean in his heart, Kyle picked up a piece of pumpkin pie.

Before Kyle could finish eating, he saw Professor Quirrell stumbling into the hall.

The big purple scarf that he usually wraps around his head is now tilted on his head.

The pale and thin face was full of horror.

Everyone watched helplessly as he ran to Headmaster Dumbledore, grabbed the table, and screamed out of breath:

"The troll—in the dungeon—I thought you should know."

Then he fell headfirst to the floor and passed out.

His voice was not loud, but the whole auditorium was boiling. The students were in a mess, and some even screamed loudly, rushing to the door to squeeze out, and the whole auditorium appeared to be in chaos.

"Quiet"

Dumbledore rose calmly, shooting sparks from his wand at the same time.Everyone fell silent and looked at him.

"Prefect, lead the students from each house to the dormitory immediately!"

"Come with me, Hufflepuff students, don't get separated!"

The prefects began to organize the evacuation, and the chaotic crowd slowly became orderly. It was Hufflepuff who reacted first.

Kyle followed Slytherin to the dungeon, thinking about the farce just now.

Yes, it's farce.

A mindless troll can come in. When did Hogwarts' protection become so weak? There are obviously some factors that Kyle doesn't know about.

There is also Professor Quirrell, whether it is his occasional outrageous performance in front of Kyle, or the rumor that he went alone in the dark forest on the border of Albania before the start of school, it seems to imply that this professor is extraordinary.

Such a character, but was scared out of his wits by a giant monster?
"Oh, bad. Hermione!"

"what?"

"Hermione, Hermione is still crying in the women's room over there in the dungeon, she doesn't know about the troll!"

Kyle heard such a conversation, and then was head-butted by two little ghosts.

It was Potter, the savior, and the little red hair beside him.

They didn't follow the prefect to the lounge, instead, they took advantage of the chaos and ran to the classroom below.

The reckless Gryffindor didn't notice, and half the Slytherins saw them rushing to the dungeon.

But the indifferent little snakes don't care about other people's lives, let alone the golden boy of the sworn enemy Gryffindor.

The little snakes are very happy to let the troll try the savior's quality.

Kyle looked at the scene in front of him, squinted his eyes and thought for a while.

Stretching out his hand to touch his pocket, he nodded to the prefect, turned around and walked towards the direction Potter left.
