Chapter 6 Nightmare
Gandalf rode straight ahead to the smoking hobbit.

Morgan followed behind, and as the distance quickly narrowed, he finally saw clearly the appearance of the short hobbit sitting on the roadside bench in front of him.

It is the protagonist of the film "The Hobbit" trilogy series: Bilbo Baggins.

Morgan was finally able to know exactly when he came to Middle-earth.

His previous guess was correct, it was just before the beginning of the Hobbit plot.

It is also the beginning of all epic stories.

According to the development mode of the plot.

Gandalf's trip is to find that Bilbo Baggins joins the adventure team of Thorin Oakenshield and other dwarves to execute the Lonely Mountain and prepare to capture the Heart of the Mountain.

According to Gandalf's suggestion, their team needs a Snitch.

Thorin Oakenshield led this group of dwarves for a great reason.

They came from the most powerful longbearded dwarf clan among the seven dwarf clans in Middle-earth.

[Longbeard clan: regarded as a clan with sacred blood by other dwarf groups, the nobles among the dwarves came from Gundaba Mountain and Moria successively. They have the demeanor of kings, rich and traditional. 】

The Longbeard clan is the orthodox descendant of the Turin Dwarves, also known as the Turin Dwarves.

Sorin Oakenshield, who is the leader, is the grandson of King Saul and the son of Thorne, the former King of the Kingdom of the Foot of the Mountain (Kingdom of Irube).

More than 60 years ago, the Kingdom under the Mountain was attacked by the dragon Smaug from the north and fell.

After the country was subjugated, the Turin dwarves had no choice but to escape from the lonely mountain and start wandering.

During this period, Thor, the king of the mountain, raised his mind to take back the old capital of Moria, which was occupied by orcs.

After being dissuaded and failed, Thor led the clansmen who survived from the lonely mountain to start a fierce battle with the orcs.

In the final battle of Moria's offensive and defensive battle, Thor, the king of the mountain, was killed by the half-orc leader Azog the Defiler.

It was also in this battle that Thorin, the grandson of Thor, lost his shield and fought fiercely with a piece of oak to turn the tide, thus gaining the reputation of "Oak Shield".

Because of his bravery in this battle, Thorin Oakenshield was also recognized by other clansmen.

King Saul died in battle, and the king of the mountain was immediately succeeded by Thorne, but due to other reasons, Thorne disappeared.

The King of the Mountain is inherited by Thorin Oakenshield who is still alive.

This is also the background before the beginning of the plot of the Hobbit series.

Quickly skipping the plot of the Hobbit in his mind, Morgan followed behind Gandalf and quickly approached the bench where Bilbo was.

After getting off the horse, he followed Gandalf and stood outside the short fence without saying a word, looking at Bilbo Baggins who was still sitting leisurely on the bench with closed eyes and blowing smoke rings.

Awakened by the noise, Bilbo opened his eyes, and saw two strangers, one old and one young, standing outside the fence of his house, staring at him strangely.

Bilbo felt a little uncomfortable being watched by the two, and subconsciously said, "Good morning."

"What do you mean?"

"Are you saying hello to me?"

"Still trying to say whether I like it or not, it's a good morning?"

"Or just want to say you're feeling good on this particular morning?"

"Or are you just saying it was a morning worth living?"

Gandalf spoke fluently with his staff, which made Bilbo Baggins, who was holding a pipe, a little confused, and even more unnatural and uncomfortable.

But soon, it occurred to him that this was Hobbiton, or in front of his own Bag End, which was his place.

So he immediately forcibly calmed down, shrugged his shoulders to make himself look more relaxed and said, "I think it's all there."

After Bilbo's voice fell, Gandalf was silent again, and just looked at Bilbo without speaking as before.

Morgan stood aside without speaking, quietly watching Gandalf perform, and also watching Bilbo.

Seen by the two people, especially the tall old man in the gray robe, who was a little nervous, Bilbo couldn't sit still and said hesitantly, "Do you guys need my help?"

At last Gandalf spoke again: "Look and see."

"I'm looking for someone to go on an adventure with me."

Gandalf looked at Bilbo and spoke quietly.

Bilbo was stunned for a moment, and finally came to his senses. He immediately shook his head and said, "Take a risk."

"No, I don't think anyone west of Bree would be interested in taking risks."

"It's disgusting, annoying, uncomfortable"

"And keep you late for dinner."

Realizing that the two uninvited guests were not kind, Bilbo got up and started to back away as he spoke.

When the round door to Bag End was shut tightly from the inside.

Morgan finally spoke and looked at Gandalf: "What should we do now?"

Gandalf said nothing, but stepped over the low hedge to the door of Bilbo's Bag End house, and drew his staff on the round wooden door.

The seemingly inconspicuous wand, which looks like dead wood, continuously overflowed with light when writing on the door, making Morgan's eyes widen.

It was the first time he had seen Gandalf cast a spell, and it was the first time in his life he had seen real magic.

Gandalf drew a pattern resembling a forked branch on Bilbo's gate. If you look carefully, you will find that there are lights flashing on the pattern from time to time.

Because the mark is engraved on the corner of the gate, it is difficult to detect it without looking carefully.

Morgan stepped forward and asked knowingly, "What are you?"

"Let's go, someone will come to persuade him for us"

"We'll come back later."

Gandalf smiled mysteriously, and turned to the horses on the side of the road as he spoke.

Morgan knew it well, so naturally he wouldn't ask more questions.

Soon, Morgan followed Gandalf and rode away.

When the movement outside went away, Bilbo, who was leaning closely behind the round gate, lay down on the small window beside the gate and began to look out.

Realizing that the two had left just now, Bilbo opened the door again and walked out.

After looking around and seeing nothing unusual, Bilbo muttered, "It's really inexplicable."

Then I went back to the house, closed the door, and started humming a song to prepare for today's breakfast.

Even if someone disturbs him, it won't affect his mood of eating a delicious breakfast.

The day passed quickly.

It was dark and night fell.

In the small, warm Bag End, Bilbo was busy with his supper.

Fry the smoked fish until golden on both sides, grill the sausage, add two cheeses, and a glass of fruity red wine.

Bilbo looked at the delicious dinner in front of him with great satisfaction, and was about to enjoy it.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang.

"It's so late, who will come to visit?"

Bilbo was taken aback for a moment, but soon got up and went to open the door.

Hobbits are always very hospitable.

And so was he, Bilbo Baggins, as long as it wasn't the morning kind of visitor.

"coming."

Bilbo replied, and walked briskly to the door, threw the latch, and opened it.

I saw a tall dwarf standing outside impressively.

"Dwalin, at your service."

The dwarf bowed and looked very gentlemanly.

Bilbo was taken aback by the dwarf's professional posture, and immediately returned the salute: "Bilbo Baggins, at your command."

And thus began Bilbo's nightmare.

When Morgan followed Gandalf back to Bilbo's Bag End again.

Before they got close, they could hear the noisy voices inside and Bilbo's powerless roar.
