Chapter 70 The Unchanging Ending (Part 2)

Chapter 70 The Unchanging Ending (Second Update)

Professor Tywin wanted to tell Dumbledore something, and he insisted.

This gesture surprised William a little.

Dumbledore glanced at the Quidditch match that had already started, and motioned, "Since Professor Tywin is in such a hurry, come to my office and talk about it."

William breathed a sigh of relief. If Tywin went to Dumbledore's office, there should be no chance to commit crimes for the time being.

However, William had some doubts.

According to Dumbledore, he was going to Ravenclaw Tower, so how did Tywin commit crimes under the principal's nose?
The three returned to the third floor in the same way. After reaching the door, William did not go in.

"Professor Dumbledore, I'll wait for you to finish talking."

Dumbledore nodded and walked in with Tywin.

William stood at the window and continued to watch the game.

He had watched the content of the game yesterday, but he still watched it with gusto.

After an unknown amount of time, the monster suddenly came to life and jumped aside, the wall behind it cracked in two.

Tywin came out from inside. With a smile on his face, he glanced at William thoughtfully, then turned and walked towards the first floor, as if he was going to watch the game.

After a while, Dumbledore walked out quickly with a grim expression. He said, "William, as you can see, Professor Tywin didn't steal the door knocker, nor did he attack..."

Just as he finished speaking, there was a sound of messy footsteps, and Professor Snape rushed upstairs with his wand in hand.

He was covered in blood.

"Headmaster," said Snape hastily, "something has happened. A student has died."

William took a sharp breath. He clenched the ring on his index finger, and his fingers turned white.

"Who's dead?!"

Snape was not used to a student talking to him like this, but he replied anyway: "Prefect of Ravenclaw, Robert Hilliard."

For a moment William stood stiffly, his mind beginning to scramble.

Professor Tywin just came out of Dumbledore's office, he didn't have time to commit crimes, but Robert is still dead?

Who did it?Did William guess wrong?
William had been to the Ravenclaw common room countless times before, but never before had he sprinted across it like this.

Not far from the Ravenclaw wooden door, William felt himself moving forward in a trance.

Robert was lying on the ground like that. His left eye socket was empty, and the blood had dried up. Other than that, there were no other signs of violence. A horrified expression appeared on his face, as if he had seen some terrible scene before he died.

Not far from Robert, a large hole appeared in the wooden door, and the eagle-shaped door knocker disappeared again.

William knew he still had a ring on his hand.

Dumbledore squatted on the ground, examining Robert's wound.

"Avada Kedavra, Headmaster." Snape wiped the blood from his face.

"Yes," came Dumbledore's serious voice, which turned into confusion, "but how could it be..."

Dumbledore stared at Robert's empty eye sockets and turned his body over.

The missing left eye hung completely above the wooden door, blocked by Robert's body.

A large pool of black blood swirls around the eyes, like messy graffiti, but if you look carefully, it forms a long outline, pointing to the earth!
Dumbledore's voice sounded, as if explaining to William.

"The Eye of Horus, this symbol is very rare nowadays, but it has appeared many times in history. It is the most coveted and mysterious symbol of ancient warlocks."

Professor Snape also asked in confusion: "Then what does it mean that the other party left such a mark?"

"In the traditional sense, Severus, it's for resurrection."

"Resurrection... what?" William asked.

Dumbledore signaled Snape to move Robert's body, he straightened his waist and said, "For thousands of years, the 'Eye of Horus' has been endowed with a meaning of resurrection.

Briefly, it's a symbol of someone who is about to be resurrected - an ancient warlock, a pharaoh, an emperor, and of course - Voldemort. "

Snape's hand holding the wand trembled, his face was hidden in the shadows, and his expression could not be seen clearly.

"Okay, Severus, things don't have to be that bad." Dumbledore said, "Transfer the child's body to the school hospital and wait for me there."

"But……"

"What happened to you, tell me later, I have other things. Come on, William."

Dumbledore held William's shoulders and led him downstairs.

"Where are we going, Professor?"

William could still see the Quidditch field, where fierce matches were going on, but the noise seemed like a world away.

"Let's go take a look at Professor Tywin. You said that Robert would be killed. This has already happened. Professor Tywin is probably more ominous..."

"But, I don't understand..."

"Why can Robert be killed even though Tywin is in my office, can't he?" Dumbledore seemed to be able to see what William was thinking.

William nodded and said, "Also, Professor Tywin just went to the first floor, how could he..."

Dumbledore whispered in a calm, soft voice, "I think that's why you've been called here, child."

"Called?" William stroked the ring, at a loss.

Dumbledore said no more, but strode ahead.

The two soon reached the Defense Against the Dark Arts office.

Dumbledore took out his wand and clicked on the door lock. The door was blasted open, and even half of the wall collapsed.

William's eyelids twitched, he felt that Dumbledore could be a little gentler and less violent.

Dumbledore walked through the smoke, looked around first, then headed straight for the bathroom.

Unlike Tywin yesterday, he is still not completely cold now, but he is also on his deathbed.

Tai Wen's chest rose and fell sharply, blood continued to seep from the corner of his mouth, and he could no longer speak a word.

But his elbows were tense, and his fingers were tightly grasping the edge of the toilet, as if he still wanted to struggle to get up.

Tywin's pupils began to diverge, and his vision was blurred, but for some reason, he still recognized Dumbledore.

He wanted to speak, but he couldn't utter a single word. Instead, the blood gushed out from the corner of his mouth more and more.

Dumbledore reached out and pressed his chest lightly, where the bones were shattered, and the robe was soaked in blood, and it was warm.

Dumbledore bent down, shaking his head slightly.

"We're late, William."

William was silent, his brows were furrowed, and things were beyond his imagination.

"This means that the need for Quidditch is over." Dumbledore raised his wand and summoned a silver phoenix.

"The finals are suspended, and everyone returns to their common room under the protection of the professor."

The big silver guy circled William twice, and he felt warm. Then, the phoenix broke through the glass and flew towards the Quidditch field.

"Come on, go to my office, we need to have a good talk."

Dumbledore turned and left without even looking at Professor Tywin's body.
