Chapter 8 Who?
Reed woke up from a coma, he opened his eyes and looked at the strange environment around him.

"I was attacked. Doom and Mordok attacked me. I need to figure out their plan immediately!" After clearing his mind, Reed immediately stood up.

"Plop." However, when he tried to get up, he couldn't control the balance of his body at all, and fell directly to the ground.

"What's going on?" Reed habitually wanted to rub his eyebrows, but he was surprised to find that his hands couldn't touch it?

Even a normal person can do things like touching the center of one's eyebrows, not to mention that Reed's ability can make his body expand and contract like rubber.

He stumbled into the toilet in a strange room, and saw a shocking scene through the mirror.

"Oh, it looks like you're awake?" The door was opened, and a playful voice came from the door.

"Dum!" Reed wanted to rush to the door, but lost control of his balance and fell down again.

"Be careful." Dum seemed to be very kind and stepped forward, slowly helping Reed up.

"What the hell did you do!" Reed's voice was rarely surprised.

"As you can see, Reed." The voice under Doom's metal mask was clearly showing some pleasure, "Oh, no, you are Mordok now. Welcome to the super villain club."

library.

Colt looked at Valeria across the table, recalling what happened the day before, he was a little absent-minded, unable to concentrate at all.

"Are you ready to apply for college?" Colt finally couldn't bear it anymore and asked.

"Huh?" Valeria raised her eyebrows, "No."

"Why?" As soon as the words came out, Colt scolded himself for talking too much.

"There's no reason." Valeria didn't seem to want to continue discussing this topic.

"Tomorrow is the weekend." Colt found a reason to continue the conversation.

"Yeah." Valeria responded, and then she finally moved her eyes away from the paper and looked up at Colt, "You talk a lot today."

"Uh..." Colt froze, momentarily at a loss for words.

"But it's indeed the weekend tomorrow, so what do you have to do?" Valeria didn't seem to see Colt's expression, she continued.

"No...nothing." Colt thought for a while, and replied hesitantly, "I just wanted to ask what you usually do on weekends."

"Maybe I will read books and do experiments at home." Valeria lowered her head to read the paper again, and after thinking for a while, she seemed to just reply politely, "What about you?"

"Me?" Colt didn't expect the other party to ask back, and replied immediately after a little sluggishness, "I usually read books at home, occasionally play some games, and then maybe join some Warhammer board game clubs."

"Warhammer board game?" Valeria muttered.

"Yeah, a chess game, I mainly play the Middle Ages." Colt replied.

"That seems to be a game with a magical background?" Valeria said after thinking about it.

"Yes."

"I thought you were more interested in science fiction."

"Can't you say that?" Colt considered his tone, "After all, magic also exists, so it's okay to play games with magical backgrounds, right?"

"That's true." Valeria agreed, "So you're going to participate in the board game this weekend?"

"Maybe," Colt replied cautiously. "If nothing else, I might go."

Seeing that Valeria didn't reply, he quickly added, "Do you have anything to do?"

"No." Valeria replied, "Compared with these social activities, I still prefer to read books and do experiments at home."

……

"Are you back?" Valeria heard someone greeting as soon as she entered the door.

"You're not in the lab?" Valeria looked at her father suspiciously.

"Leave for a while, and I'll be back soon." Reed replied nonchalantly, "I'm contacting the maintenance personnel."

"What did you do again?" Valeria left her schoolbag on the sofa and walked straight into the laboratory.

"A prototype exploded." Reed said in a flat tone, as if he had accidentally fried an omelette.

Valeria walked into the laboratory, frowning and looking at the almost destroyed damage in front of her, without saying a word.

"What happened? It was just a small accident." Reed asked.

"Oh, nothing." Valeria came back to her senses, "Where's Mom?"

"Susan?" Reed replied. "There was a glitch on the space station, and I let them deal with it."

"All gone?" Valeria still frowned.

"Yeah, I just wanted Ben to go, but Susan was worried that the problem might be more serious than it seemed, so she followed suit." Reed shrugged, "As for Johnny, I think he is simply on Earth. I'm suffocated."

"Where's Xiaofu?" After hearing the explanation, Valeria's frowning brows relaxed slightly, and then she asked about her brother.

"I don't know." Reed replied, "I haven't seen him. I wonder if he has gone to another pocket universe to play."

"Alas..." Valeria sighed, "I really can't do anything about him..."

"Want to help?" Reid asked while walking to the console to process the data.

Valeria glanced at the big hole in the wall: "Forget it, you plug the hole quickly, I'm not like you, the wind blows me hard, and what happened in high school today made me a little tired."

"Understood." Reed waved his hand nonchalantly, then immersed himself in his calculations, and then he suddenly realized something, "What things in high school can make you feel tired?"

"It's nothing, some boys are very annoying." Valeria's tone hesitated, but she seemed a little disgusted, "It's as childish as a child."

"It's normal, it happens all the time to teenage boys," Reed replied. "It's like a peacock opening its tail."

Reed noticed that Valeria was still staring at him, and he smiled awkwardly: "After all, I was young once."

"That's right." Valeria's expression returned to normal, and then she walked to a cabinet, "I'll take something back to the room to look at."

"Okay." Reed stopped paying attention to her, but continued to concentrate on the work at hand.

Valeria took out a stack of papers from the cabinet, and then she picked up a pen in the cabinet with an orange gemstone inlaid on the cap, and said casually: "I borrowed this pen, my pen was careless today. It broke."

"Okay, don't bother me." Reed didn't look up at all.

When Valeria finally left the laboratory, Reed raised his head.

"It's really annoying, but Doom doesn't allow me to cause harm to her. Acting in front of such a high IQ is really tiring, and I feel like I almost failed."

After returning to her room, Valeria immediately locked the door.

"What's going on here?" she murmured, "Who is that person?"
