Chapter 477 Battle in Hogwarts!

Chapter 477 Battle in Hogwarts!

"Never mind those things, they don't matter anymore," Neville said. "Seeing you is enough to make us happy." Neville laughed happily.

"Yeah." Harry nodded.

"But what have you been doing lately? People say you've been running around, Harry, but I don't think so. I think you must be up to something."

Neville had changed, and Harry was surprised to find that wisdom and bravery appeared in Neville, which he thought would never appear in Neville in the past.

"You're right," said Harry, "tell us about Hogwarts, Neville, we don't have any news."

"School. Ugh. It doesn't feel like a school anymore." Neville said, the smile on his face faded. "Do you know the Carroll brothers and sisters?"

"The two Death Eaters who teach here?"

"They don't just teach," said Neville, "discipline is also their thing. These two Carlos like to punish students the most."

"Like Umbridge?"

"Well, Umbridge is kinder than them. If we do something wrong, the other teachers will have to hand us over to them. But teachers don't do it if they can hide from it. It can be seen that they hate those two as much as we do."

"I have never doubted the teachers in the castle—of course, I am referring to those original teachers."

"Indeed," Neville nodded, "Amycus, the Defense Against the Dark Arts used to be taught, but now it has actually become the dark arts of the naked. We are asked to practice the Cruciatus Curse on those who have been locked up—"

"what?!"

The chorus of Harry, Ron, and Hermione echoed down the corridor.

"Yeah," Neville said, pointing to a particularly deep gash on his cheek, "that's how I got it, because I didn't want to do it. But some people are quite interested, and Goyle and Crabbe are lovely, they are top-notch for the first time in class."

"Alecto, Amycus's sister, teaches Muggle studies, which is now compulsory for everyone. We've all heard her say that Muggles are like animals, dirty and stupid, that they're vicious to wizards and keep them in hiding, and that normal order has been re-established. This wound," he pointed to another cut in the face, "came from when I asked her and her brother how much Muggle blood was on their hands."

"My God! Neville," said Ron, "there's a time and a place for talking too much!"

"You didn't hear her," Neville said, "or you wouldn't be able to take it. The point is, it's useful for someone to stand up to them, and it gives hope to everyone, Harry, I noticed it when you did it."

I have to admit that Neville has grown up too much, and now he looks much braver than before. It should be said that the Sorting Hat is worthy of discerning talents, and can see through Neville's essence at a glance.

Looking at everyone's concerned eyes, Neville shrugged his shoulders indifferently.

"It doesn't matter, anyway, they don't want to waste too much pure blood, so they only torture us a little when we speak presumptuously, and it won't kill us, which is relatively good."

The three of them didn't know which was worse, the things Neville said, or the nonchalant way he said them.

"The people who are really in danger are those classmates who have relatives and friends who are causing trouble outside. They will be taken as hostages. Old Lovegood was too candid in "The Quibbler". They were snatched from the train when Luna came."

"Luna should be fine, she is also a pure blood." Neville added and said.He pulled a gold coin from his pocket, which Hermione recognized as the fake Galleons that Dumbledore's Army used to pass messages between each other.

"It's a great thing," Neville said to Hermione, grinning. "The Carrows never found out how we connected, and they were going crazy. Back then we used to sneak out in the middle of the night and scribble things like 'Dumbledore's Army is still recruiting' and 'Hera still needs us' on the wall. Snape hated it."

"At that time?" Harry asked, noticing that he was using the past tense.

"Well, the situation got worse and worse," Neville said. "The Carrows seemed to know that I was planning a lot of things, and they began to punish me severely. Later, when Michael Corner went to release a freshman who was locked up by them, he was unfortunately discovered. They tortured him terribly. This scared many people."

"I can't believe it," Ron muttered under his breath, as the passage started to turn uphill.

"Yeah, I can't ask anyone else to go through what happened to Michael, so I gave up on those dangerous practices. But we were still fighting, doing some underground work, until a week ago. At that time, they probably decided there was only one way to hold me back, and went to my grandma."

"What?" Harry, Ron, and Hermione asked simultaneously.

"Yeah," said Neville, panting slightly as the passage was very steep. "Hmph, I can see what they're thinking. Kidnapping children to make their relatives obey the rules has always worked well, and I guess they'll reverse it sooner or later. The problem is,"

He faced them, and Harry was surprised to see that he was all smiles. "They're so overreaching. Granny, a humble old witch, lived alone, and they probably thought they didn't need to send someone special. And then," Neville laughed, "Dawlish is still lying in St. Mungo's Hospital, and Granny escaped. She sent me a letter." Tell me to keep going."

Dawlish defeat +1
"It's amazing," said Ron.

"Yeah," said Neville cheerfully, "the problem is, they realized they couldn't threaten me, and they decided that Hogwarts could have no more of me. I don't know if they're going to kill me or send me to Azkaban, no matter what, I know I should disappear."

"But," Ron seemed completely confused, "we - aren't we heading to Hogwarts?"

"Of course, you'll understand, we're here."

On the other side, Hera had already started fighting the Death Eaters. Suddenly, spells flew around the grounds of Hogwarts, and the professors also rushed out of the castle, attacking the Death Eaters back and forth. This made them extremely uncomfortable.

But for some reason, Voldemort never appeared, only dozens of Death Eaters resisted outside.

"Out of body!" Professor McGonagall pointed at a Death Eater with his wand and shouted. He roughly grabbed the wand of his companion and threw his own wand into the distance.

"Bastard! Amycus, what are you doing?!" Alecto roared angrily, she had no idea that there would be such a way in wizard duel.

"Drowsy!" Professor McGonagall's spell was still working, and she chanted it frantically at the Death Eaters beside her. She probably hadn't chanted it so heartily for some years.

"Nice job, Minerva!" Hera yelled, before waving her wand at the Death Eater and chanting, "Swoon!" "Disarm!".
Professor McGonagall gasped and said to Hera, "Slytherin, you should have come a long time ago, we have waited too long." They were standing back to back at this moment, surrounded by Death Eaters.

"Bow your head!" Hera roared angrily. Professor McGonagall didn't understand why, but she immediately bowed her head.

"Fire!" Hera yelled almost with all her strength. She swung her wand vigorously over her head and held it high like a torch. Flames shot out from the tip of the wand, like a huge and warm noose.

Bright flames danced in his eyes, and bright, red-gold rings of fire surrounded him and Professor McGonagall.

The Death Eaters who were trying to surround them became staggered and swayed under this blow, and then the flames expanded outwards, burning them all into ashes almost instantly.

"Hey, this trick is really good." Professor McGonagall looked at the ashes left after being killed by Hera's spell with fiery eyes, and said with great satisfaction.

Hera smiled, didn't say anything, and continued to rush to other places to help the saints resolve the battle.

With the Elder Wand in hand, Hera hardly encountered a Death Eater who could block a single spell of him. Basically, a single spell could easily kill the enemy, and the fast and unreasonable spell made them unavoidable.

The fight was over in an hour, much more than anyone had expected. They had expected it to last until midnight, but since Voldemort didn't show up, it all ended much quicker.

Together they rushed into the Great Hall, where the enchanted ceiling was dark and sparkling with stars, and below four long tables sat disheveled and disheveled students, most of whom had just rushed out of the common room and hadn't had time to straighten their clothes.

They were all called out of the dormitory by Professor McGonagall, and each pair of eyes was fixed on Professor McGonagall. She was standing on the high podium in front of the auditorium and was speaking to everyone. Behind them stood the remaining teachers, including the centaur Firenze, and the saints, members of the Order of the Phoenix, and officials from the Ministry of Magic who came to fight together.

"The evacuation is under the supervision of Mr. Filch and Madam Pomfrey. After the prefect hears my order, stop the students of your college and take them to the evacuation site in an orderly manner. Mr. Slytherin of the Ministry of Magic will be responsible for transporting you to a safe place."

Hera turned her head and grinned at the students below, showing her white teeth.

Many students, however, looked petrified.Hera saw Harry's figure inside, and I have to say that the previous plan was really a little bit of a mistake!
Unexpectedly, everything went so smoothly. Fortunately, Hera thought it was a last stand, and it was very likely that it was the final battle with Voldemort.

"But what if we want to stay and fight?" a Hufflepuff student shouted, standing up.

His words apparently won some applause.

"If you are old enough, you can stay." Professor McGonagall said after receiving Hera's nod.

"Where's our stuff?" asked a girl at the Ravenclaw table loudly. "Where's our chest and the owl?"

"It's too late," Hera said without waiting for Professor McGonagall's answer, "I think most of you have read about me from the newspapers and know who I am. Now I want to solemnly state again that the most important thing is to transfer you out safely."

"Oh? Really?" The door of the auditorium was pushed open, and a black-haired man came slowly. The black robe rolling behind his back was like waves of black waves, instantly cooling down the atmosphere in the room.

"do you have any opinion?"

"I'm just wondering what made you get everyone out of bed at this late hour, Minerva," Snape said in his characteristically deliberate tone.

"Things are different, Severus," said Professor McGonagall, drawing out his wand.

Hera looked at Snape with complicated eyes. He knew in his heart that Snape was an undercover agent, otherwise the Death Eaters would only be more unscrupulous in the castle, and it would be difficult to maintain the current situation. But obviously others are unaware.

"Severus, live on," Hera murmured.

Professor McGonagall was so quick that Harry couldn't believe it.Her wand whizzed through the air, and Harry thought for a moment that Snape would collapse delirious, but his Iron Armor Charm was so swift that it knocked McGonagall off balance. She swung her wand at a torch on the wall, and the torch immediately flew from its bracket. The students covered their heads to avoid the falling flames. The flames turned into a ring of fire, filled the hall, and flew toward Snape like a noose—

Then it was no longer fire, but a huge black snake, which Meg blew into black smoke.Within a few seconds, the black smoke deformed and solidified, becoming dense daggers chasing after it.Snape had no choice but to block the suit of armor in front of him, slamming the dagger against the armor's breastplate, and kept——

And the other professors were not idle either, they all took out their wands and slapped Professor McGonagall from the side.

Flitwick's spell hit Snape's armor, which was used as a shield, and with a crash, the armor came to life.Snape desperately broke free from the iron arm that was squeezing him tightly, and threw the armor at his attacker.Harry and Luna quickly dodged and fell, and the armor smashed into pieces against the wall. When the students looked up again, Snape had already escaped from the Great Hall.

McGonagall, Flitwick, and Sprout all chased after them.Snape rushed into a classroom, and a moment later, all the students in the auditorium heard McGonagall shout, "Coward! Coward!"

But not long after, a burst of applause erupted in the auditorium!
"We got rid of Snape!"

"Long live Principal McGonagall!"

Hera watched all this silently, he didn't make a move, didn't say anything, he just thought: Is it worthwhile for Snape to do all this.
