Chapter 475
Chapter 475
Harry went upstairs, and he was directed by Ms Bathilda to a dressing table.
"What's this?" On top of the dresser, there was a high pile of things that looked and smelled like dirty laundry.
"There!" she said, pointing to the mess.
Just as he looked away, searching through the pile.Out of the corner of his eye, he saw her move oddly, and turned around in terror, paralyzed with fright. He saw the old body fall, and a great snake spurted from where her neck should have been.
As he raised his wand, the serpent struck and bit him hard on the forearm, sending the wand tumbling toward the ceiling as the glow swirled dizzyingly around the walls and went out.
Immediately afterwards, the snake's tail hit him hard in the stomach, sweeping Harry out of breath. He fell backwards on the dresser, into the smelly pile of dirty clothes—
Rolling to the side, barely dodging the tail of the snake, which slapped the table where he was a second ago.He rolled to the ground, splashed all over with broken glass, and heard Hermione calling from downstairs, "Harry?"
He couldn't get enough air into his lungs to answer, and suddenly something heavy and smooth knocked him to the ground again, and he felt it slide over him, strong, powerful—
"No!" He gasped, being pinned to the ground.
"Yes," said the voice in a low voice, "yes...to watch you...to watch you..."
"Wand... the wand flies..."
The wandless spell had obviously failed, but Hermione and Ron had already sensed that something was wrong, and they rushed forward.
But they came too late, and Harry was already tightly entwined by Nagini.
"Let it go!" Hermione and Ron yelled, and the spell worked, and Nagini let Harry go.
Harry woke up, woken up by Nagini's sour breath.
But everything is not getting better, it is still attacking.
Hermione screamed and dodged aside, the spell missed, shattering the curtained window, flooding the room with crisp air.
Harry dodged another shower of shattered glass, and stepped on something that looked like a pencil—his wand—
He bent down and picked him up, and now the big snake filled the room.
Ron and Hermione struggled with the big snake, but they were obviously at a disadvantage, but with Harry's joining, the balance of victory gradually tilted towards them.
Nagini fled, he turned his back on the mission Voldemort gave it, and perhaps received new instructions from Voldemort.
Because Harry's scars burst, he was Voldemort, pacing up and down a room, throwing everything on the floor in a rage.
But all this is not over, Harry felt the pain he had never felt before, anger, pain and other feelings were transmitted to Harry through the scar.
For a moment, Voldemort was him, his cry was Harry's cry, and his pain was Harry's pain.
For the first time, Harry regretted that he hadn't practiced Occlumency well. If he had practiced well, maybe he wouldn't be what he is now!
"Why does the head hurt so badly?" There was only one thought in Harry's mind, but soon, he had a second thought, "Doesn't the pain disappear with death?"
"Harry! Harry!" Ron and Hermione shouted his name, trying to bring him back to the real world.
But it worked, and Harry seemed to recover from drowning, his body was drenched in sweat, his head was covered with sweat, and his scar was burning like fire.
Harry came back to his senses, he murmured: "Mom. Mom, I saw my mother."
"Harry," whispered Hermione, "do you think it's - okay?"
"It's okay." Harry didn't tell the truth, he didn't think he should tell his friends who cared about him what he just saw.
They were on the second floor, which had been reduced to a heap of ruins, with a hole blown through the window through which Nagini escaped.
"Ron, give me some water, will you?" said Harry.
"of course."
Harry only drank about half of the bottle of water, and he poured the rest on himself.
"We succeeded." Ron said, he looked very hesitant, "I don't know why, but he left, left here."
"It was Voldemort, who called the snake away."
"So why is that?" Hermione asked.
Harry shook his head. "I don't know, but I think it must be something important. Maybe we should inform Slytherin, inform the Ministry of Magic."
"Since when did you trust the Ministry of Magic?" Ron asked strangely. "Didn't you always dislike mentioning Slytherin?"
"Because we have to rely on him." Harry's eyes were very determined. He looked at Ron and Hermione, and they could see the persistence in his eyes.
Hermione said, "I'll contact them if that's what you mean."
"How did you get in touch with him?" Ron asked in surprise.
"We just need to send out a signal, and people from the Ministry of Magic will come, don't they?" Hermione asked back, "I believe in the Ministry of Magic now."
Early the next morning, Hermione had sent the signal, and Harry and Ron were watching her from miles away, knowing that the Death Eaters were not after Hermione, but that was still undecided.
No matter what, Harry couldn't take any risks, and Ron was obviously not a very reliable spellcaster. Hermione strongly insisted, and finally decided that Hermione would summon the people from the Ministry of Magic.
Splendid sparks soon bloomed in Godric's Hollow, not only the nearby residents, but even the Muggles a few miles away could clearly see it.
"Shouldn't it be dangerous?" Ron said worriedly.
Harry shook his head, "It's okay, the only person they want to arrest is me."
In fact, it was true, because of the 'betrayal' of the Ministry of Magic, the Death Eaters could only search for Harry's traces in the dark, and they couldn't bring everything to the surface at all-this would definitely be hit by Hera.
Soon, people from the Ministry of Magic came. They wore hoods and a triangle symbol on the hem of their clothes.
Hermione seemed to be saying something to them, but Harry and Ron couldn't hear clearly, and they didn't dare to approach rashly.
Immediately afterwards, one of the two men Apparated away.Leaving Hermione and the other Auror in place.
Not long after, he came back, and there was another person beside him.
"It's Richfar Heilig!" Harry recognized, and he called, taking Ron's arm. "It's Richfar."
"I saw it, Harry, I saw it," Ron complained, clutching his arm. "Lord Slytherin should have known all this."
Immediately afterwards, Hermione pointed to the direction where Harry and the others were hiding, and rushed over with Richfa and the others.
"Harry Potter, isn't it?" Richfar asked, barely giving Harry time to answer, he asked immediately, "Where did we first meet?"
"Hogwarts, you attended the Triwizard Tournament in place of Mr. Crouch."
"It's confirmed," Richfa nodded, "You understand, right? It's an extraordinary time, and we must take some necessary measures."
"Yeah." Harry said he understood.
"Very well, I heard from Miss Granger that you have something to report to Lord Slytherin. I think we should leave immediately without delay." Reach said quickly, giving Harry almost no time to react, he directly held Harry's arm.
Then he turned around and took Harry and the others to disappear in place, leaving only the fireworks in the sky that could not be dissipated for a long time, and the Muggles admiring the fireworks a few miles away.
Ministry of Magic.
"Harry, tell me, what happened to make you give up and escape?" Hera said, crossing her legs.
Harry swallowed. They were in an abandoned interrogation room right now. Although Hera didn't force him to ask anything, or even said nonsense, it just reminded him of the scene when he was arrested and taken to the Ministry of Magic in fifth grade.
"Sir, we found an anomaly." Harry said, "We met Nagini in Godric's Hollow, the big snake next to Voldemort."
They noticed that Slytherin's eyes immediately became tense, but seemed to linger on Hermione for a few more seconds unconsciously.
"We have nothing to do. It ran away suddenly." Harry continued, "It received Voldemort's order to let it go back immediately. We think this is very problematic."
"That's a good question, Harry, that's definitely a good question." Hera rubbed her chin and lowered her head so that Harry couldn't see his face clearly.
It's time, Harry's damn time.
Everything is happening as Dumbledore planned, as if after his death, there are still a pair of invisible hands helping everything to the way they should be.
"Harry, we have to be honest with each other," Hera said with a sigh. "I've destroyed Hufflepuff's cup, and all that remains of Voldemort's Horcruxes is the diadem and—"
"Nagini!" said Hermione suddenly.
"Oh? How did you guess that?" Hera looked at Hermione curiously. He should be the only one who knows this secret. The other insider, Dumbledore, is gone. Did he leave any message in Godric's Hollow?
"It's not difficult to understand. Voldemort suddenly summoned Nagini back. There must be his purpose. Moreover, Harry's scar was very painful last night, and it hurt twice. The only thing I can imagine is that Voldemort was so angry that he couldn't maintain Occlumency, which connected the two of their heads together."
"And what could make Voldemort so angry? No doubt his Horcrux was destroyed. Nothing could threaten his life more than that."
Hermione's reasoning is very beautiful and wonderful, but there is a question: how did she deduce that Nagini is Voldemort's Horcrux?
Hera cast her curious eyes on Hermione. She looked at Harry, as if she had made up her mind, and said, "Hera once told Harry that only the Killing Curse can split a person's soul, and Harry once 'saw' Voldemort killing a Muggle with his own hands in the fourth grade. I think that was making Horcruxes, and Nagini was undoubtedly the most suitable one at that time. Although there has never been a conscious body as a Horcrux before."
"A very wonderful reasoning." Hera couldn't help applauding, and at the same time he secretly glanced at Hermione, she must have guessed something.
absolute!
It's just that Harry hasn't realized the problem yet.
"My lord, something has happened." Richfar hastily opened the door and broke into the interrogation room, "Death Eaters have surrounded Hogwarts, and they seem to want to occupy Hogwarts. That's—"
"The position of the crown." Harry's face turned pale in an instant. Although he has never been called pretty, he is definitely much stronger than now.
"That's right." Richfa nodded, "I'm afraid our plan to infiltrate Hogwarts has to be considered in the long run."
"It's okay, we've thought of this a long time ago." Hera didn't say much. Voldemort obviously planned to keep his last Horcrux well, but he never expected that he still had one of his Horcruxes in his hand: Harry Potter!
"Has Voldemort shown himself?" Hera asked.
"I haven't received any news, so it should be none."
Hera nodded, "Well, then it's not a big problem, let's continue preparing."
"Yes, my lord."
Harry thought that the preparation time would not be too long, but he didn't expect that it would be mid-September, and the students had already returned to school.
They didn't yet know what awaited them, and the Ministry of Magic had surprisingly not warned them. It's just that when they were at King's Cross Station, many parents nodded and bowed silently to the guarding Ministry of Magic officials. This makes many children a little confused.
"Dad, what are you doing?"
"Oh, honey, it's nothing, nothing, it's just that Dad has a great plan, maybe you'll see me at school." The father's eyes were full of tears, and he had to hug his child to prevent him from seeing him secretly wiping tears.
This is a battle of disparity in strength, this is a battle of life and death, and this is a battle that determines everything.
They know what they are carrying.
But they have no choice!
It is obviously extremely difficult to notify everyone, but this year, after the invitation letter to Hogwarts, an additional "Letter to Parents" was added.
In the letter, Professor McGonagall stated what happened during the holiday in an extremely sad tone. She hoped that all parents of Hogwarts children could unite and fight for their children and the future of the wizarding world.
But obviously everything was not as smooth as she imagined, not everyone had the courage to fight for it, and someone betrayed Professor McGonagall.
For this reason, Professor McGonagall was locked up in the dungeon by Snape, which filled the other professors with righteous indignation, but facing the siege of dozens of Death Eaters, they could only suppress their anger and continue to prepare everything needed for the start of school.
Snape didn't let them attack the professors. In his words: "If there were no professors, Hogwarts wouldn't have to go on."
And Voldemort obviously didn't want Hogwarts to close, which may be due to his deep feelings for Hogwarts.
It cannot be denied that Voldemort did have a 'deep' love for Hogwarts.
