Chapter 390 I Will Always Stand on the Side of Justice

Chapter 390 I Will Always Stand on the Side of Justice

Ron made Gryffindor win the Quidditch Cup, which made Professor McGonagall very excited. When she had breakfast the next day, she pulled Professor Flitwick and said how exciting the game was, and she couldn't see her usual steady and serious appearance.

However, both Hera and Professor Flitwick expressed their understanding. They had a very unhappy school year, especially Professor McGonagall. The Gryffindor she was locked in was the house Umbridge focused on observing. It was a rare thing to get Professor McGonagall excited by something a little bit happy.

Hogwarts has rarely seen such pleasant things lately.

And Ron, as if he has become the "King Weasley", every Gryffindor student passing by his chair will pat him on the back, which makes him very happy, not to mention the sudden sound of "Weasley is our king" from time to time.

While Hera was having breakfast, she controlled Umbridge to write letters to Fudge in the office. He had to manipulate Umbridge to look through all the letters that had not been sent before, in order to find patterns in them and to communicate with Fudge in a more suitable tone.

This was a difficult matter, because Hera had to write in the letter: All kinds of things that Lestland and his evil henchmen have done against 'me'.

This is comparable to Trelawney's divination class-the students need to constantly predict the misfortune they may encounter.

As for Hera, she needs to rack her brains to arrange her crimes so as to fit Umbridge's personality.

June is fast approaching and for Year [-] students it can only mean one thing: their OWLs are finally here.

The castle grounds glistened in the sun as if they had been freshly painted; the clear sky was reflected on the shimmering, calm lake; and the satin-smooth green grass occasionally rippled in a soft breeze.

Hera sat alone on the grass, looking at the calm lake, enjoying the relaxation of the breeze blowing through her hair - he didn't have the pressure of exams, the school was already safe, and Umbridge was already under his control. Unless Voldemort planned to attack Hogwarts, this was definitely the safest place.

"I should have done it a long time ago." Hera hammered her thigh and said with some regret.

"What should you have done?" Hermione's voice came out, she put the stack of books aside, and sat beside Hera with her skirt rolled up.

Hera's face remained unchanged, and she said calmly, "I should have relaxed a long time ago. The situation at Hogwarts is not as bad as I imagined."

"Yeah, it's not that bad." Hermione tucked her hair around her ears and put her hands on her knees. "But it's definitely not good. I'm not sure I can pass the Defense Against the Dark Arts exam yet."

"Defense Against the Dark Arts?" Hera asked. "Don't worry, she'll give you a reasonable score."

"How did you know?"

"She can't give most people an 'E'. Doesn't that prove that her teaching level is a failure?" Hera smiled. "Believe me, if most people don't get an 'o' or an 'a', the Ministry of Magic will be full of complaint letters from parents."

"But I'd like to get an Excellence," Hermione pouts, looking sullen, as if worried that she won't get a good grade.

"If Miss Granger can't get an 'O', then I don't think anyone can deserve it." Herra reached out and rubbed Hermione's hair, which had obviously been taken care of by Hermione, and it was no longer always messy like it was the previous two years.

Hermione's face blushed, but it was only for a moment. She quickly calmed down and asked seriously: "Hera, you have to teach Harry to use Occlumency. Although he refuses to admit it, I can tell that he is definitely still having nightmares."

"Really?" Hera asked nonchalantly, "but he never came to my office. I don't know what happened, but Harry seems to be avoiding me a little bit."

"Avoiding you?" Hermione was surprised, "How is that possible?"

"I can't figure it out either," Hera spread her hands helplessly, "but the fact is like this, I don't know what's wrong, obviously before."

Hera's words stopped generally, because Hermione showed a thoughtful expression, obviously she knew something.

"Tell me, what do you know, Hermione." Hera looked into Hermione's brown eyes, which seemed to be a deep spring.

Hermione showed a struggling look, and she scratched her not-so-submissive hair vigorously, "I don't know if I should tell you. Of course, I completely trust you, but there are some things that are hard for Harry to accept."

"Are you referring to my incident with the Dark Lord?"

Hera's unremarkable tone seemed to be stating what to have for afternoon tea, but Hermione was taken aback by her words, and she looked around anxiously to prevent any suspicious people from overhearing their conversation.

But Hera had cast a whispering spell here early on—others could only see their mouths moving up and down, but they couldn't hear what they said at all.

"Did you really do those things?" Hermione asked cautiously, her tone looking dead serious.

Hera nodded, then shook her head again, "What you know is not the whole truth of the matter."

"Of course I know!" Hermione yelled, almost jumping off the grass, but Hera held her shoulders. "I've always believed in you."

"Hermione, your judgment is correct." Hera said lightly, still in that calm tone.

"But you've got to tell me what's going on here," Hermione said earnestly, staring intently into Hera's eyes, trying to see something in them.

"I can't explain too much to you. This is an agreement between me and Dumbledore." Hera frowned and explained softly. He really couldn't talk too much to Hermione.

"Then just tell us all you can say." Hermione said happily, she had already confirmed what she wanted to confirm - Hera was still on their side, and that was enough.

"I'm afraid I can't say anything, and I'm not even sure if I should have told you just now," Hera explained softly. He couldn't tell too much. If Hermione passed the news on, it would likely cause the Death Eaters to suspect him—Voldemort naturally wouldn't believe a student's words, even though it was from Hera's favorite student at Hogwarts.

"Oh, bloody secrets." Hermione sighed. "I hate secrets."

"Believe me, Hermione, I also hate secrets. In this situation, only secrets can protect good people." Hera followed with a heavy sigh.

Hermione nodded, "I understand." She also seemed to be feeling a lot heavier.

The two of them watched the golden light flashing across the whirling lake quietly, and after a long silence, Hermione asked, "Can Harry go to you to learn Occlumency?"

"As long as he is willing." Hera didn't refuse. He knew that Harry might have a hard time accepting it. Maybe Harry was suspecting that he was Voldemort's undercover agent. There is a high probability that he will not come to Hera.

Harry is now very likely suffering from persecution delusions, which is probably the real 'Umbridge syndrome'.

"Well, it was a pleasant conversation," Hermione stood up and smoothed the hem of her skirt, "but I have to say goodbye, I have to prepare for the exam, and I don't have much time to review in a day now."

"Go, go, I believe you will get a good result in the exam, just like you did before."

"I've never doubted that." Hermione smiled confidently. She picked up the book and walked towards the other side. Recently, she used to review her homework under the beech tree by the lake.

"What a nostalgic school time." Hera murmured looking at Hermione's back, but they might not have such an easy life soon.

The day of the exam is approaching. In the Transfiguration class, the fifth-grade students learned about the time of the OWLs exam and the specific arrangements during the exam. The exam will last for two weeks, with written exams in the morning and practical sessions in the afternoon.Astronomy practice is scheduled in the evening.

This was good news for Hera. He only needed to greet the invigilator teacher sent by the Ministry of Magic in a symbolic way. He no longer had to manipulate Umbridge around the castle all day. She could sit in the classroom with peace of mind, which saved Hera a lot of effort.

The relationship between the examiner Marchban and Dumbledore is very good.So much so that she asked about Dumbledore the first time she came to Hogwarts. She said he was a very small, hunchbacked witch.

Hera and Umbridge stood before her and talked to her, even though they were as far apart as the English Channel.Professor Marchban seemed a little deaf, for Hera was only a foot or so away from her, and yet she answered in a particularly loud voice.

"The trip went well, the trip went well, we arrived quite a bit earlier!" she said impatiently, "By the way, I haven't heard anything from Dumbledore lately!" she added, looking carefully around the hall, as if expecting Dumbledore to suddenly appear from some broom cupboard. "I guess you don't know his whereabouts yet?"

"Not at all." Hera and Umbridge said at the same time, and Umbridge gave Hera a vicious look at the same time, as if angry at him for saying the same thing as himself. But the tone of the same words is completely opposite.

"But I think the Ministry of Magic might be able to catch him soon enough," Umbridge added - all under Hera's control, of course.

"I doubt it very much," cried little Professor Marchbane. "If Dumbledore didn't want to be found, it would be impossible to catch him! I remember... when he sat for the NEWTs, I was the one who took his Transfiguration and Charms. He did things with his wand that I had never seen before."

"Yeah. I think so too." Hera said with a smile, "Let me take you to the teachers' lounge. Maybe you want a cup of tea after the trip?" He had never heard of a March class witch before, and now it seemed that she was a wizard older than Dumbledore.

Wizards have always lived a long life, but Dumbledore definitely lived a long life.

The Maquis class witch in front of me is bigger than Dumbledore, this is even a rare 'old baby', and I don't know why the Ministry of Magic won't let him retire.

It was definitely an unsettling night, with every student trying to revise at the last minute, but no one seemed to be getting anything.Harry went to bed early too, but couldn't seem to sleep for hours, and thought of Hera announcing in a rage that she would help him become an Auror, of Hera and Lupine's promise to help him learn Occlumency, of Hera.
How Harry wished he had really practiced Occlumency, otherwise he wouldn't have seen Hera in Voldemort's memory, making him so miserable that he didn't even dare to be alone with Hera.

Hermione's words were still echoing in his mind: "I said a long time ago that you shouldn't doubt Hera." "After so many years, can't you still trust him?" "As for Hera, I can't think of why you should doubt him. This is obviously Dumbledore's arrangement, otherwise"

Harry wanted to say that he understood all of this, but he could feel Voldemort's emotions. The excitement and trust when he mentioned Hera really existed. Voldemort really didn't doubt Hera.It can even be said that Voldemort's unwavering trust in Hera made Harry very painful.

He was torn between two thoughts.

Tomorrow was about to start, and Harry wished he could perform better, he knew he wasn't the only one lying in bed unable to fall asleep, but no one in the dormitory made a sound, and then they fell asleep one by one.

At breakfast the next day, none of the fifth graders said much.At the guest of honor, Professor McGonagall and Professor Marchban had a very happy chat. They are both masters of transfiguration and friends of Dumbledore. They hit it off very well.

Hera managed her own breakfast. The fifth graders seemed a little nervous. Many of them were holding books and magic wands, practicing in low voices, and the bottles and jars on the table were shaking. However, Hera didn't mean to blame them. He knew how much pressure they were under.

After breakfast was over, the students of other grades went to class, and the students of grades 09 and 30 wandered aimlessly in the hall. Then, at [-]:[-], they were called to the front one by one and returned to the auditorium. The auditorium has been rearranged. The four college tables were removed and replaced by many single lads, all facing the staff table at the end of the auditorium. Professor McGonagall stood facing them, and Hera sat on the throne-like chair that Dumbledore used to be, watching all of this. On his left was Professor Marchban, and on his right was Umbridge.

When everyone sat down and quieted down, Professor McGonagall said loudly, "You can start."
