Chapter 383 You Are Dumbledore's Favorite

Chapter 383 You Are Dumbledore's Favorite

"I don't think that's quite possible," said Umbridge in disgust. "I must tell you that I'm already Headmaster of Hogwarts in name."

"But I'm the real Headmaster." Hera said calmly, not as hysterical as Umbridge. It can even be said that Hera is terribly calm now, and a pair of icy eyes made Umbridge even more insane.

She yelled, "Are you trying to fight the Ministry?"

"Of course we don't mean that, but it doesn't mean that the Ministry of Magic can appoint the headmaster of Hogwarts." Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick stood up from the side seats, and they protected Hera from left to right.

"According to the "No.20 No. [-] Education Order", I have—" Umbridge smiled ferociously. She pointed at the notice she picked up again, and waved towards Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick.

"I think we can all see it," said Professor Flitwick nonchalantly. "I'm afraid we can't promise you. You are a senior Hogwarts investigator, but you are only an investigator, nothing more."

"Yes, yes!" Umbridge clutched the notice tightly in her hands, crumpling it into a ball of paper with rage. "Then we'll see."

The breakfast broke up badly, and no one had the appetite to continue eating. The two of them—or Hera took the Hogwarts teachers, and Umbridge left the hall separately.

After they left, the students began to discuss in a low voice. Before, they were scared by the frozen atmosphere and didn't dare to discuss at all. In addition, yesterday's rumors made them even more afraid to make trouble.

"Will Dumbledore come back?" asked a Gryffindor junior, looking very unsure. In his eyes, there is no way for a person to fight against a law.

"Dumbledore will be back soon." Ron said firmly, he seemed very confident, although he completely missed last night's battle - of course, it is more appropriate to say that Dumbledore's unilateral crushing.

Harry also took up the conversation, "And during his absence, Hera will take over his job. I believe Hera will also do a good job, just like he did before."

"It's hard to disagree," said Hermione. "I think Umbridge wants to sit in the headmaster's office." Hermione said disgustedly. "Brothering all the teachers, this stupid megalomaniac, power-obsessed toad!"

"Hey, are you really going to finish this, Granger?"

Hermione's voice was a little louder, so that Draco, who had been paying attention to Harry, heard her voice. He walked to the long Ravenclaw table and shouted at Hermione, with a malicious look on his pale face.

"I'm afraid I'll have to deduct points from Gryffindor," he drawled.

"Only the teacher can deduct points from the house." Seamus said immediately, he had been listening to Harry and their conversation, even if he didn't make a sound.

"Yeah, we're prefects too, remember?" Ron snapped.

"I know prefects can't take points, King Weasley," Draco said sarcastically, still referring to Ron by the insulting term they used to laugh at Ron's poor performance on the broom. "But the members of the investigative operations team—"

"What?" Hermione asked sharply, and while they were talking, Draco had arrived at the Gryffindor table with two of his squires.

"Investigative Operations, Granger," Malfoy said, pointing to a small silver "I" symbol under the prefect's badge on his robes, "It's a select group of students who support the Ministry of Magic, hand-picked by Professor Umbridge. Anyway, members of the Investigational Operations do have the power to deduct points. So, Granger, I'll deduct ten points from you for disrespecting our new Headmaster. Finnigan talks back to me and deduct five points. Ten points from Potter because I don't like you. Weasley, you There's dirt on the tip of your nose, so I'll take another five points off you, oh yeah, I forgot, you're a Mudblood, Granger, so fifteen points off you."

Harry and Ron pulled their wands together, but Hermione pushed them aside and whispered, "No!"

"Very sensible move, Granger." Draco whispered, "New Headmaster, New Era, be honest now, King Potter Weasley"

"The new Headmaster is no Umbridge." Ron muttered, and he wanted to fight back, but Hermione stopped him.

"He's right, we need to be honest, but that doesn't mean we don't do anything," said Hermione quickly, obviously not as calm as she appeared.

This matter reached Hera's ears almost instantly. There is no way, Hogwarts is only this big, not to mention that he is now the headmaster of Hogwarts. Even if he doesn't need it, the ghost and the portrait will pass him the latest news.

Hera was in the principal's office on the eighth floor, which he had cleaned up with magic. He tapped his fingers on the table and listened to Nick, who was almost headless in front of him, telling him what happened in the auditorium not long ago.

When Nick mentioned that Draco had deducted Hermione's points for being a mudblood, and went out of his way to shout insults at her, Hera's fingers stopped.

Nearly Headless Nick kept his mouth shut; he could tell the new principal was in a bad mood.

Hera sits in a throne-like armchair, her heaving chest revealing that he is not as calm as he appears.

"I'll look at the class schedule—" Phineas quickly flashed out of the frame of the picture, almost taking a breath, and he came back again. "Malfoy is supposed to be teaching Potions in the Lower Classroom by now, sir."

"Very good, Phineas." Hera nodded, stood up and pulled the cloak from the back of the chair and put it on herself, even blocking the sunlight from the window for a while.

"Malfoy needs some beatings. It seems that the Dark Lord is still too loose with Malfoy, so that his son dared to say such things at Hogwarts." Hera grinned, and a gleam of light flashed in her orange vertical pupils.

Snape was walking between the desks and inspecting every student's cauldron. He was never stingy with his sarcasm, pointing out the mistakes the students made in brewing the potion, and at the same time mocking them strongly.

Bang!

The door was slammed open, and Snape almost instantly drew out his wand and pointed it in the direction of the door.

"Severus," Hera said softly, "is Mr. Malfoy here?"

"What about your manners?" Snape asked, frowning, putting away his wand, but clearly in a bad mood.

Hera waved the cloak, glanced around the small teachers, and saw Draco in the front row near the wall on the other side. He walked straight over and lifted Draco's neckline.

"What are you doing?" Snape asked coldly, and Draco was lifted up by Hera.He could struggle, of course he could, but he didn't dare, and this was Hella Lestrange—the Lestranges were mad, his father had told him.

"I'm afraid we need to ask our Mr. Malfoy." Hera brought Draco in front of her, and the bright yellow vertical pupils flickered so that Draco didn't dare to move.

"Snake snake." Draco choked out the snake's "si" syllable.

"Don't disturb my teaching order," Snape said coldly, drawling his voice, "Does our Mr. Lestrange think that he can ignore his poor potions teacher by becoming the headmaster of Hogwarts?"

"You'd better ask him what he did, I bet you will be angrier than me." Hera let go of Draco angrily, he ignored Harry and others in the classroom, he just looked at Snape.

Snape frowned, and continued in his smooth voice, "So, let our Mr. Malfoy tell you, what have you done?"

Draco hesitated for a long time, unable to speak.

"Let me speak for him, he deducted a full 45 points from Gryffindor earlier, just because of Miss Granger's background, and also said that dirty word." Hera glanced at Draco in disgust, and quickly turned away, as if afraid of dirtying her eyes.

Snape pursed his lips, and he turned his head stiffly to Draco, his voice was so cold that it seemed to come from the eighteenth hell.

"Is what Principal Hera said true?"

Draco nodded, then shook his head vigorously.

"One hundred points will be deducted from Slytherin because Mr. Malfoy is so rude." As soon as Snape finished speaking, Draco's face turned pale in an instant, but what Snape said next made his heart fall to the bottom. "There is still one school year of confinement, one school year of labor, and you will be expelled from the Quidditch team."

Hera nodded, and Snape raised his head slightly to look at Hera, "Is this enough?"

"I think it's not just Malfoy's fault, maybe his family—always." Hera said with her head tilted, her cold eyes scanning Draco's pale face up and down.

"I'll write to his father, Headmaster Lestrange," said Snape coldly.

"Very good." Hera nodded. He didn't expect everything to go so smoothly, and Snape understood his idea almost instantly-to build up power and let everyone know who is the real headmaster of Hogwarts.

Didn't you see Snape calling Hera Headmaster every time?

I'm afraid it doesn't get any better than this.

It's just that Snape has to work hard, and it is almost certain that Umbridge will come to win him over. After all, Hera has swept Snape's face in public.

"So, can our new headmaster leave the poor Potions classroom, the other students are still in class." Snape crossed Draco angrily, walked up to Hera, and looked straight at Hera.

Hera nodded, "Of course." She turned straight to the door, opened it and walked out.

Returning to the principal's office on the eighth floor, Hera sighed softly. It was the first time he had done such a thing, but I'm afraid he would inevitably continue to do such things in the days to come.

In Hogwarts, only Snape doesn't look like Dumbledore's fan anymore, and Hera has no choice but to choose him. If it were Professor McGonagall, who would believe it?
Hera perfected the next plan in the office. With a soft sigh, he took out the Pensieve from his pocket and placed it on the smooth table. His fingers ran across the runes on the side of the basin. Hera took out the wand from his robe, and inserted the tip of the wand into his hair, close to his temple.

When he pulled out his wand, there was a small wisp of the same silvery-white substance stuck to the tip of the wand as in the basin.

Hera sneered, "Sure enough, with this wand, is it so easy to extract thoughts?"

With the use of Hera, this wand became more and more convenient. Hera also found that there was almost no obstacle for him to cast spells through this wand. Could it be that this is the inheritance of Hogwarts?

It's really powerful, I'm afraid it can turn any wizard into the best fighter - because he can use all kinds of curses without any pressure.

Hera added this little new thought to the basin in which his face floated, the memory of his conversation with Dumbledore, recording the reasons for everything he did.Hera held the Pensieve in her long hands and turned him like a gold prospector turns a sand table. His face became that of Dumbledore, who opened his mouth and spoke to the ceiling with a little echo.

"Promise me, take care of Hogwarts"

Hera sighed heavily again, and sat down on the chair of the throne class. He snapped his fingers, and Copper appeared with a thud.

"Mr. Principal."

Hera just looked at him like this, thinking that she once thought of abducting a house-elf, how ridiculous?

Right now, he has hundreds of house elves in Hogwarts, but he is no longer in the same mood as before.

After a while, he didn't hear Hera's instructions, so Cobb raised his head in doubt, "Mr. Principal?"

"Oh, I almost forgot," Hera came back to his senses. He rubbed his temples and said softly, "Inform all the professors to come to the principal's office when they have free time. I have something to ask them."

"Okay, first—"

"Wait a minute, don't tell Umbridge," Hera added.

"Yes, Headmaster." Copper disappeared again with a bang, a faint puff of smoke.

Hera sat in the armchair, staring blankly at the ceiling.

"Although Dumbledore and I don't always have the same opinion, I want to say that he is a very independent guy," Phineas said softly next to Hera's ear, "I trust his judgment, and you are also a very suitable candidate."

"What if he's wrong?"

"Then all of us will lose." Phineas said firmly, "So, you must take responsibility for yourself."

"Responsibility?" Hera chuckled lightly, "You must know that I just wanted to fool around in school at first."

"But we all see what you do, Mr. Principal." Dai Lisi also said in the framed portrait next to her, she surprisingly did not object to Phineas.

"Me? I know I'm not worthy of this position."

"Don't say that, you're the one Dumbledore likes."
